Well, I beat Pokemon Stadium 2 a while ago, but haven't gotten around to recording the final battle like I said I would until now. This is the final battle, and is Round 2. It's pointless to show the R1 battle, since that would be easier. Anyway, I had to use rentals. The Pokemon I used in the Lance Battle were only LV50, and I don't have the patience to level them up to 100 just to do this final battle. So I'm using the rentals that are suggested in the Rental FAQ on www.gamefaqs.com
Anyway, Rival has only 3 Pokemon, and you get to choose 6. He has Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Mewtwo. He can send any out first, and isn't afraid to switch out if you just so happen to get the type advantage. But that's a rarity, because each of his Pokemon have moves to take down Pokemon that it's weak against (as you'll see in the video). I haven't bothered to figure out all the moves each has, but I got most. Here is what they have:
Ho-Oh: Thunder, Earthquake, Giga Drain, Sacred Fire
Lugia: Aeroblast, Psychic, Safeguard, (Possible Earthqake)
Mewtwo: Submission, Psychic, Thunderbolt, (Safeguard most likely?)
Anyway the FAQ suggests using the cheap Wobb + Perish Song method. Having Wobb use Counter or Mirror Coat will take down the first Pokemon (depends who starts first). If you happen to have a decent amount of HP left you can attempt to Destiny Bond the next Pokemon and hope to god it goes down with Wobb. Of course it was too weak to survive Sacred Fire, so it died. It's tricky, because you have to predict the move it'll do, and I could SWEAR the AI cheats sometimes and purposely goes against the one you choose.
After Wobb failed to take out the second one, I saw "Lapras" and immediately thought "oh hey it can probably Surf at least" and brought it out against Ho-Oh. Jesus christ, what a shitty moveset these rentals have for the good Pokemon. Icy Mist? Did you see how much damage it did? Garbage. Not to mention Ho-Oh just so happens to have Thunder. So I used Perish Song and hoped for the best. I honestly thought the AI would be smart enough to switch out. Apparently not. So when Lapras bit the dust, I Mean Looked it and Umbreon lived long enough to watch it die as it died itself after just so happening to get burned by Sacred Fire.
If my list of moves for Mewtwo are correct, Hypno could have survived against Mewtwo for a decent amount of time if Hypnosis was really needed. But I just needed to stall one more move. Mewtwo generally isn't as bad as the other two though, so you should hope he's last.
So that's the game. I'm probably never going to play it again, ever. The Gym battles were fun when there weren't 3-5 people in that gym that you had to beat in a row without losing. The cups, were stupid and full of cheating. I don't think I've ever seen an AI cheat so much in one game. I mean, come on, a super effective critical hit that just so happens to be the deciding move in the match when your 80% accuracy move that was supposed to kill it missed? Who are they trying to kid? Oh, and the challenge cups are stupid too. How do they expect you to go through 8 battles without losing with a random team of Pokemon, most of which are probably given crap moves? So yes, one game I'll never playthrough again. Two player is fun though, or battling your own team you raised (EVEN THEN THE AI CHEATS). (Less)

Basically, this is the only PKMN game I play, and it's a ROM hack XD (well not anymore cos I got a DS Lite and Diamond in late September of this year lol).
Anyways, to the video...this is from the most recent beta released by Zel. I know I made a mistake with letting Ampharos attack Quagsire (I forgot it was also a ground-type lol, haven't played these for so long...haha), and then letting it get exposure from Lapras' perish song (never heard of that move until now XD)
Since now I beat her and what's available in this beta, it's time to raise the weak ones I caught (ehm other starters in boxes lol) for the next beta!
My team during this battle:
Meganium Lv67
Ampharos Lv44
Blastoise Lv47
Walrein Lv49
Pidgeot Lv60
Aggron Lv60 (was a replacement for my Espeon for this battle only lol)
Oh and by the way, feel free to ask me a question about Shiny Gold! I'm such a nerd on this hack, it's not even funny XD
EDIT: By far this has been by most popular video, with OVER 9000 VIEWS! Thanks for watching guys! =D (Less)

It is based on an older (More) Matt Cunningham on Tin Whistle. Róisín Dubh, meaning "Black Rose", written in the 16th century, is one of Ireland's most famous political songs. It is based on an older love-lyric in which referred to the poet's beloved rather than, as here, being a metaphor for Ireland. The intimate tone of the original carries over into the political song. It is often attributed to Antoine Ó Raifteiri, but almost certainly predates him . Originally translated from the Irish language by James Clarence Mangan, this translation is credited to Pádraig Pearse.
The song is named after Róisín Dubh, probably one of the daughters of Hugh O'Neill, 2nd Earl of Tyrone, Earl of Tyrone in the late 16th Century. The song is reputed to have originated in the camps of Red Hugh O'Donnell.
This song is traditionally sung in the Irish language, with few if any recordings of the English existing. This song belongs to the 'aisling' or 'vision' songs of the 17th century. The reason behind the transposing of Ireland as a maiden was not merely poetic, but also avoided the English persecution of the time on songs about Ireland. It is also for this reason that political songs of this era are mostly sung in Irish, which the English authorities (for the most part) did not understand.
"A Róisín ná bíodh brón ort fé'r éirigh dhuit:
Tá na bráithre 'teacht thar sáile 's iad ag triall ar muir,
Tiocfaidh do phárdún ón bPápa is ón Róimh anoir
'S ní spárálfar fíon Spáinneach ar mo Róisín Dubh.
Is fada an réim a léig mé léi ó inné 'dtí inniu,
Trasna sléibhte go ndeachas léi, fé sheolta ar muir;
An éirne is chaith mé 'léim í, cé gur mór é an sruth;
'S bhí ceol téad ar gach taobh díom is mo Róisín Dubh.
Mhairbh tú mé, a bhrídeach, is nárbh fhearrde dhuit,
Is go bhfuil m'anam istigh i ngean ort 's ní inné ná inniu;
D'fhág tú lag anbhfann mé i ngné is i gcruth-
Ná feall orm is mé i gnean ort, a Róisín Dubh.
Shiúbhalfainn féin an drúcht leat is fásaigh ghuirt,
Mar shúil go bhfaighinn rún uait nó páirt dem thoil.
A chraoibhín chumhra, gheallais domhsa go raibh grá agat dom
-'S gurab í fíor-scoth na Mumhan í, mo Róisín Dubh.
Beidh an Éirne 'na tuiltibh tréana is réabfar cnoic,
Beidh an fharraige 'na tonntaibh dearga is doirtfear fuil,
Beidh gach gleann sléibhe ar fud éireann is móinte ar crith,
Lá éigin sul a néagfaidh mo Róisín Dubh."
English Translation:
"Little Rose, be not sad for all that hath behapped thee:
The friars are coming across the sea, they march on the main.
From the Pope shall come thy pardon, and from Rome, from the East-
And stint not Spanish wine to my Little Dark Rose.
Long the journey that I made with her from yesterday till today,
Over mountains did I go with her, under the sails upon the sea,
The Erne I passed by leaping, though wide the flood,
And there was string music on each side of me and my Little Dark Rose!
Thou hast slain me, O my bride, and may it serve thee no whit,
For the soul within me loveth thee, not since yesterday nor today,
Thou has left me weak and broken in mien and in shape,
Betray me not who love thee, my Little Dark Rose!
I would walk the dew with thee and the meadowy wastes,
In hope of getting love from thee, or part of my will,
Frangrant branch, thou didst promise me that thou hadst for me love-
And sure the flower of all Munster is Little Dark Rose!
Had I a yoke of horses I would plough against the hills,
In middle-Mass I'd make a gospel of my Little Dark Rose,
I'd give a kiss to the young girl that would give her mouth to me,
And behind the liss would lie embracing my Little Dark Rose!
The Erne shall rise in rude torrents, hills shall be rent,
The sea shall roll in red waves, and blood be poured out,
Every mountain glen in Ireland, and the bogs shall quake
Some day ere shall perish my Little Dark Rose!" (Less)

The boycott is a very sharp weapon, used in the past and recently. It was used by the pagans in Makkah against the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions. It caused great harm to them; they even had to eat leaves. It was also used by companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to fight against the pagans in Madinah. In recent times we saw nations use boycotts in their struggle for the liberation from colonialism. A famous example is Gandhi who asked the vast Indian nation to boycott English goods, which was very effective. A boycott is in the hands of the nation and masses alone. Governments can't force people to buy goods from a particular country. Let us use this weapon to resist our national and religious enemy, and make them know we are still alive, and that this Ummah will not die, God willing. The boycott has many different effects; it renews the education of the Ummah in how to liberate themselves from enslavement to other people's taste. They encourage us to be addicted to these things of no benefit, indeed they cause us harm. The boycott is a demonstration of Muslim brotherhood and unity of the Ummah. It is our duty to say we are not going to betray our brothers, who make sacrifices every day. We will not participate in making profits for our enemy. This boycott is a lesser resistance, which will help the greater resistance carried out by our brothers in the land of Messengers, and the fortified frontier of Jihad. If every Jew in the world thinks himself a soldier, supporting Israel as much as he can, surely every Muslim using his very soul and wealth is a soldier to liberate Al-Aqsa. The least [the Muslim] can do is boycott his [the enemies'] goods. Allah says: "Oh you who believe, you are protectors of each other. If you don't do this there will be great division and corruption."If the consumer buying Jewish or American goods is committing a major sin, surely the merchant buying these goods and acting as an agent is the greatest sinner. Even if the company works under a different name, they know they are deceiving people. The Muslim Ummah all over the world is being asked to demonstrate its existence, and show its desire to protect what is sacrosanct. The Islamic Ummah must know who are its allies, and who are its enemies. The Ummah is forbidden to give in to weakness, and depression, and accept the tyrannical peace, which the Zionists want to impose. Allah says: "Don't be humiliated and ask for peace, while you are on the Uppermost and Allah is with you." [Qur'an, 47:35]. Our sisters and daughters, who control the houses, have a role to play in this matter, which may be more important than the role of the man, because women supervise the needs of the house, and buy what must go inside the house. She is on hand to guide the boys and girls. She plants the Jihadic spirit in the children, and educates them in what they must do for their Ummah and its causes, and what they must do to the Ummah's enemies, especially in the area of boycott. When the children understand this they will carry on the boycott enthusiastically, and later will lead the parents. I ask all the believers in Allah, Christians and others, and all the free and noble people in the world to stand beside us, and support the right and truth against falsehood, and justice against injustice. Help to victory the weak, who are being killed every day in the way of Allah, protecting the Noble Sanctuary. Also, I request the workers of the Arab and Muslim countries around the world to support the Palestinians in the their just cause, and show their anger by demonstrating against the powerful tyrants, by disturbing their businesses as much as they can. Finally I ask the wise, reasonable and experienced in every country to organize cells to build a boycott, to create alternatives and avoid the negative things, and carry on educating the masses, until the word of truth is raised up and falsehood is destroyed. Surely it will perish. "Say 'work', surely Allah will see your work and His Messenger and the believers, you will return to the Unseen world and witness, and you will know what you were doing." "For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NASB)
1 Corinthians 1:26-31
"Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
Who Does God Most Often Use?
1. God Uses Those Who Are Insecure.
"But Moses pleaded with the LORD, "O Lord, I'm just not a good speaker. I never have been, and I'm not now, even after you have spoken to me. I'm clumsy with words." "Who makes mouths?"...Is it not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say." Exodus 4:10-12 (NLT)
2. God Uses Those Who Are Afraid.
"All the king's officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that he be put to death. The only exception to this is for the king to extend the gold scepter to him and spare his life. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king." When Esther's words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:11-14 (NIV)
3. God Uses Those Who Are Broken.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves
those whose spirits have been crushed." Psalm 34:18 (NCV)
Paul said..."I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow." 1 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV)
"What a wonderful God we have..., the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does He do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (LB)
4. God Uses Those Who Struggle.
"Though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again." Proverbs 24:16 (NIV)
"I love God's law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 7:22-25a (NLT)

"For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NASB)

[13] And as for those who are at Jerusalem, saith the prophet, they shall be scourged by all people, because they crucify the God of Israel, and turn their hearts aside, rejecting signs and wonders, and the power and glory of the God of Israel.
[14] And because they turn their hearts aside, saith the prophet, and have despised the Holy One of Israel, they shall wander in the flesh, and perish, and become a hiss and a byword, and be hated among all nations.
[15] Nevertheless, when that day cometh, saith the prophet, that they no more turn aside their hearts against the Holy One of Israel, then will he remember the covenants which he made to their fathers.
[16] Yea, then will he remember the isles of the sea; yea, and all the people who are of the house of Israel, will I gather in, saith the Lord, according to the words of the prophet Zenos, from the four quarters of the earth.
[17] Yea, and all the earth shall see the salvation of the Lord, saith the prophet; every nation, kindred, tongue and people shall be blessed.
[18] And I, Nephi, have written these things unto my people, that perhaps I might persuade them that they would remember the Lord their Redeemer.
[19] Wherefore, I speak unto all the house of Israel, if it so be that they should obtain these things.
[20] For behold, I have workings in the spirit, which doth weary me even that all my joints are weak, for those who are at Jerusalem; for had not the Lord been merciful, to show unto me concerning them, even as he had prophets of old, I should have perished also.
[21] And he surely did show unto the prophets of old all things concerning them; and also he did show unto many concerning us; wherefore, it must needs be that we know concerning them for they are written upon the plates of brass.
[22] Now it came to pass that I, Nephi, did teach my brethren these things; and it came to pass that I did read many things to them, which were engraven upon the plates of brass, that they might know concerning the doings of the Lord in other lands, among people of old.
[23] And I did read many things unto them which were written in the books of Moses; but that I might more fully persuade them to believe in the Lord their Redeemer I did read unto them that which was written by the prophet Isaiah; for I did liken all scriptures unto us, that it might be for our profit and learning.
[24] Wherefore I spake unto them, saying: Hear ye the words of the prophet, ye who are a remnant of the house of Israel, a branch who have been broken off; hear ye the words of the prophet, which were written unto all the house of Israel, and liken them unto yourselves, that ye may have hope as well as your brethren from whom ye have been broken off; for after this manner has the prophet written.
