Created by Go, Gogo! @ UCLA in 2007. An all-original rap written by Sarah Ho and Ji Yong Kim, detailing the effects of our actions of careless haste and flippant waste. Our poor mother earth is suffering in dearth (of resources). In our race for resources, and our careless choices, we destroy ecosystems, endanger lives, both animal and human. Small actions, small words, can effect a change that can combat poverty and environmental waste. At the forefront of people's minds is money, money, and if we make a stretch-ch-chhh, justice and humanity. But we want to promote awareness and eradicate poverty of thought, the environment and earth has a direct effect on the poverty we claim we want to battle. Thus, the school teacher in the video is seeks to ameliorate the damage we've already caused by attempting to educate her three bright students to make the right choices through a playful rap.(Less)
