The first DUE DATE is coming up soon - July 5th! I and a panel of fellow film students will review the submissions for roughly a week, and by the 10th, I will reveal the winner. The second is August 1st. There were enough people interested in the contest who had legitimate excuses (death in the family, note from the doctor, etc..) as to why they wouldn't make the first cut-off date. Again, after the first week of August, I will judge the submissions and declare a winner. THIS MEANS THERE WILL BE TWO WINNERS! But if you're done now, submit it now, as the second date will likely see submissions from people who've spent weeks on their videos. I wrote the song, you download the song, you make a music video....or you don't. In which case, you get a free song. The LYRICS: I can't get my fill of lovin' you and I can't say that phrase enough to you. I tried think up of some other words but all I got was la la laaa. And I tried asking why I fell for you, like a kid wond'rin' why the sky is blue. I thought for hours; I stayed up all night, but all I got was la la laaa. And now that you know how much I love you so do you think that you could be with me? I'm not like other guys there's no nasty surprise look into my eyes and then you'll see where we'd be when we're both thirty three and I still love you, and you love me. It's not just one boy's fantasy; it depends on what you say to me.. now...please...now. I don't get why you said "no" to me, and why won't you your reasons show to me? I tried to tell you why your answer was wrong, but all I got was la la laaa. I mean I bought a friggin' ring and everything I even wrote this song for us to sing. A little sappy and a little too fast, and once or twice I just wrote la la laaa But I'd looked up some books and they never revealed a good synonym for how you made me feel. It was just like a trip, like a trampoline bound, and I fear that now I'm coming down from my high as I hung in the sky and the only word that I can think of now is "why?" I could just stop bouncing and sit here and cry but you gotta' fall down to bounce up so I know that I..will...try....still.
