19 His Majestys Support for the Tsunami Survivors On the 26th December 2547 a Tsunami took peoples lives and property in six provinces along the coast of the Andaman Sea. While the flood from the ocean left tear marks on the Thai peoples cheeks, the torrent of support provided by the members of the royal familys help wash away those tears. His Majesty was a pillar of strength foe his shaken and frightened subjects. His Majestys personal funds and donations in his name flowed immediately to those experiencing the devastation and horror brought by the Tsunami. Children orphaned in the catastrophe were immediately accepted into His Majestys patronage and protection under the Raj Pracha Nukul Foundation where they will be cared for and educated to the highest level possible. Unfortunately, even in times of this natural disaster, conflicts occurred. His Majesty graciously gave a speech for the Thai people encouraging them to work in unity and solve problems together.
