One of my favorite gospel songs, especially the versions by the Soul Stirrers with Sam Cooke, who is absolutely my favorite singer. I think the words are interesting, because whether or not you are religious, the question is still important: "How far am I from finding my place in the world and in time? Someday I'll rest, finally, and I'll know why I was here." I also think it's interesting that, of all places, modern day Canaan is a fairly troubled place.(Less)
