So how have you been? Good? Glad to hear it.
If you jump off the platform (before you enter the battle arena) to the left and pass through the water you will see Kratos briefly enter his swimming animation, I will the swimming glitch exploitation to those that know what they are doing) Suppose I better give a run down of my tactics.
Altering Slash. The only move that gives Purpalisation therefore it is a must.
Trick through Euryale's attacks, they are all pretty easy to see coming, sometimes the headbutt can catch you unawares. I don't try and hit her fast and bowcancel for speed.
What I concentrate on in this fight is tricking through her attacks and getting a triangle hit or two in when I feel it is safe to do so. Play smart not fast. Let the hammer do the work, its big heavy and does massive damage. If I focus on tricking through the attacks I know I am not going to get killed (makes sense, right?). The odd hammer blow here and there combined with the fact that I am not taking damage means she will die first.That said it is far from being a long drawn out fight.
Titan Storm is not as efficient as single bow shots. One bow shot does 5HP and cost 4MP giving an HP:MP ratio of 1.25:1
Titan Storm does 50HP and costs 50MP giving a 1:1 ratio.
Using it is nothing more than laziness on my part. Euryale has 180HP on either pillar I have enough magic to fire 4 Titan Storm or 50 single shots. Splitting those evenly means on each pillar I can shoot 25 shots for 125HP damage or fire 2 Titan storm for 100HP damage. The 25 damage is more than made up for by another Hammer blow on these settings. So it boils down to L2 + square 50 times
or L2 + circle 4 times. As I said it is laziness on my part no more no less.
Firing TS as the wave hits you can auto-break you so beware of that.
After the pillar stage Euryale gets a bit more agressive. You could save your RotT for this stage and pound away or you could bravely hide in the sweet spot (can you hide bravely?) and RAEP her that way. Hiding provides an excellent chance for more Altering Slash use, this move has quite a slow end animation and using it can leave you exposed and not in a nice way.
Gorgon Rage and Atlas Quake to shatter to make the most of the regen magic.
