Keep, keep On.... Never Say Die....
When in the midst of sorrow
You can't see up when looking down
A brighter day tomorrow will bring
You hear the voice of reason
Telling you this can never be done
No matter how hard reality seems
Just hold on to your dreams
Don't give up and don't give in
Although it seems you never win
You will always pass the test
As long as you keep your head to the sky
You can win as long as you keep your head to the sky
You can win as long as you keep your head to the sky
Be optimistic
If things around you crumble
No, you don't have to stumble and fall
Keep pushing on and don't you look back
I know the storms and strife
Cloud up your outlook on life
Just think ahead and you'll be inspired
To reach higher and higher.
You'll always do your best
If you learn to never say never
You maybe down, but you're not out.
Don't give up and don't give in
Although it seems you never win
You will always pass the test
As long as you keep your head to the sky
You can win as long as you keep your head to the sky (you can win child!)
You can win as long as you keep your head to the sky
Be optimistic
Don't you let no body stop you.....
Be optimistic
You can win, Yes
Never say die....

With Halloween coming to a close, many have wondered and asked what are the best horror films featuring African Americans and after asking a few colleagues who are horror film experts, the best films that were mostly were the following but in no particular order.
'Blacula' is the story of Manuwalde, an African Prince. This movie presents a modern version of the classic Dracula story in a very chilling and inventive way. In 1780, after visiting Count Dracula, Manuwalde is turned into a vampire and locked in a coffin.. The scene shifts to 1972, when two antique collectors transport the coffin to Los Angeles. The two men open the coffin and unleash Blacula on the city of Los Angeles. Blacula soon finds Tina, who is his wife, Luva, reincarnated, and gains her love. L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom was involved in a two car crash in Hawthorne, Calif., yesterday morning which sent one person to the hospital.
Police sources tell TMZ they are investigating Odom for allegedly running a red light in his Mercedes and T-boning a Geo Prism driven by a 37-year-old woman. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to extract the victim from the wreckage. The victim's family tells TMZ that she is in serious but stable condition with a head injury and injuries to her left leg. Tyra Banks' business savvy takes her beyond the runway. Kenny Leon
The heater impresario shakes up the stage with "True Colors" casting. With big Broadway hits, he's moving easily from stage to screen and back.

Dr. Hulda Clark - " I have seen that eczema is due to roundworms. Seizures are caused by a single roundworm , Ascarts, getting into the brain. Schizophrenia and depression are caused by parasites in the brain. Asthma is caused by Ascaris in the lungs. Diabetes is caused by the pancreatic fluke of cattle, Eurytrema. Migraines are caused by the threadworm, Strongyloides. Acme rosacea is caused by a Leishmania. Much human heart disease is caused by dog heartworm, Dirofilaria. And the list goes on and on."
Herbal Parasite Remedies
by Hulda Regehr Clark Ph.D
The material you are about to read is quoted from Dr. Hulda's book, The Cure for all Diseases. It is presented here as a public information service only. All rights are reserved by the author and/or the publisher.
Getting rid of all these parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. Flaghl is used for Amoebas and Giardia. When the correct dosage is used, it can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. Quinine used for Malaria is quite toxic. Imagine taking 1O such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites! That may be a great strategy for drug makers, but not for you.
There is a better way. Three herbs can rid you of over 100 different types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! And without interfering with any other drug that you may need to take! Does this sound too fantastic? Just too good to be true? These herbs are nature's gift to us. The herbs you need are:
* Black Walnut Green Tincture
* Wormwood Tincture
* Cloves Tincture
If you use them together you will rid yourself of all these parasites. They must be used together as a single treatment. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. So all the herbs should be used together as a single treatment.
The green hull surrounding the nut of the black walnut tree is a miraculous parasiticide. After it has turned black it is useless. The large green balls fall to the ground early in the fall. In a week or two they will be black and decaying. Therefore, anyone wishing to make parasiticide must be careful not to let the critical time for harvesting pass. I encourage everyone to make their own parasiticide, and to take back the responsibility of keeping themselves and their families free of these tiny monsters. The recipe for Black Walnut Green Hull Tincture is given in Recipes. Black Walnut Green Hull Tincture
Note that it is a tincture -- extracted using grain alcohol -- rather than an ordinary extract, which use water. The Black Walnut extract available from some herb companies is not potent enough to make an effective parasiticide. It is black, not pale green, indicating that the critical harvesting time had passed. Of course there is no time to make your own if you have fast growing or metastasizing cancer (See the chapter on Sources). Missing Number is the result of Silph Company's attempt to perfect Porygon - code-named "The Porygon Version 2.0 Project" - a computer virus which attacked Silph's mainframe that day (rumored to be sent by Team Rocket), and a strange number of accidents and coincidences of the same day. The virus attacked Porygon swiftly, so much in fact that the scientists didn't realize anything was wrong until Porygon's appearance had changed, which was corrupted late into the virus's attack. By the time Silph's science team scrambled to contain the virus, it was too late to reverse the effects. While Porygon wasn't destroyed, it was definitely mutated beyond reocgnition, into a mass of glitches. A living, breathing computer bug. The scientists were simultaneously amazed and frightened - as can be expected - by this unexpected development.
Though not quite a success, they refused to mark this interesting turn of events as a failed experiment, and began trying to test the creature. After all, computer glitches don't actually exist! Their computers, having no non-corrupt data to extract from the creature, dubbed it "The Missing Number, No. 000." The research began immediately, as this was intruiging...however, the "creature" escaped - by spreading, as is the nature of a virus, to the Internet, once it ate through Silph's rather weak firewalls. Silph's scientists never cracked that one - their mainframe's firewalls seemed perfectly intact, and yet the Pokémon had unmistakenly vanished.
Team Rocket, discovering the Pokémon when it spread to their computers, tried to contain it as well for study - just for it to escape again as easily as before. Giovanni was furious - he intended to stop the research into Porygon 2, to punish Silph Co. for the Master Ball incident, but he never would have believed Porygon would "mutate" rather than "evolve", much less into a totally different Pokemon. He knew that it had to carry potential, as it had escaped Silph Co. without a hitch and managed to be a LIVING computer virus; that HAD to be worthy of research.
Missing Number eventally corrupted a Pokémon Storage Computer, replacing all of the Pokémon within with copies of itself. Through this, it was able to escape into the real world - a hapless teenage trainer withdrew the Pokémon, believing it was her beloved Pidgey, only to be greeted by a seeming mass of computer glitches with an otherworldly cry. The poor girl's mother called up the Pokémon Center, demanding an explanation for her traumatized daughter. Nurse Joy, following standard procedure despite being COMPLETELY unprepared for this, redirected the mother to Silph Co.'s Customer Service Line. As nothing like this had ever happened, Silph, trying DESPERATELY to keep the Missing Number debacle under wraps as well, tried to pass it off as a one-time glitch - once they swore up and down to make sure it would never happened again, as the mother wasn't taking "a one-time glitch" for an answer. From there, the complaints grew - and Silph's president tried desperately to keep their fault in this from going public. At the same time, Team Rocket (ordered by Giovanni) was trying to find a way to publically announce to the world how "Missing Number" was indeed Silph's fault. Giovanni accepted this as a sort of improvised "Plan B" to get back at Silph.
Missing Number was released into the wild in all cases - much to Silph's dismay, as they have tried desperately to bring it back in. Rumor has it they congregate at Cinnabar Island, the coast facing Seafoam Islands. But because only visitors from Viridian ever seem to see it, no one quite believes it.

There she makes a good impression with her polite manners but shocks everyone by her vulgar Cockney attitudes and slang (thus establishing one of the show's themes: good elocution is only "skin deep"). But she captures the heart of an eager young man named Freddy Eynsford-Hill.
The final test requires Eliza to pass as a lady at the Embassy Ball. She does this admirably, even fooling a rival of Higgins, a Hungarian phonetician named Zoltan Karpathy, into believing that Eliza was "born Hungarian." After the ball, Higgins's ungrateful boasting about his triumph and his pleasure that the experiment is now over leave Eliza feeling used and abandoned. She walks out on Higgins, leaving the clueless professor mystified by her ingratitude. But Higgins soon realizes his feelings for her: he has "grown accustomed to her face." When Eliza tentatively returns to him, the musical ends on an ambiguous moment of possible reconciliation between teacher and pupil.

My Fair Lady
Synopsis:
Henry Higgins, an arrogant, irascible professor of phonetics, boasts to fellow linguist Colonel Pickering that he can train any woman to speak so properly that he could pass her off as a duchess. (In the terms now used by linguists, and which did not yet exist in the period of the show, Higgins said he could take a speaker of basilect and teach her to speak acrolect.) Pickering is intrigued by Higgins's boast and wagers that Higgins cannot make good on his claim. Higgins takes on the challenge. He chooses as his subject Eliza Doolittle, a poor girl with a strong Cockney accent whom he encounters selling flowers in Covent Garden. An intensive makeover of Eliza's speech, manners, and dress begins in preparation for her appearance at the Embassy Ball.
Complicating matters is Eliza's father, Alfred P. Doolittle (Stanley Holloway), a cheerfully amoral and drink-loving dustman. He shows up to extract money from Higgins, claiming that Higgins is compromising Eliza's virtue. Higgins is impressed by the man's natural gift for language and his brazen lack of moral values ("Can't afford 'em!"). So he flippantly recommends Doolittle to an American millionaire who is seeking a lecturer on moral values. In the end, Doolittle gets a surprise bequest of four thousand pounds a year from the millionaire. This raises him uncomfortably into middle-class respectability.
Meanwhile, Eliza endures speech tutoring, endlessly repeating phrases like "In Hertford, Hereford and Hampshire, hurricanes hardly ever happen" (to demonstrate that "h"s must be aspirated) and "The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain" (to practice the "long a" phoneme). Just as things seem hopeless, she suddenly "gets it" after Higgins eloquently speaks of the glory of the English language. Thereafter her pronunciation is transformed into that of impeccable upper class English. For her first public tryout, Higgins takes her to Ascot Racecourse. There she makes a good impression with her polite manners but shocks everyone by her vulgar Cockney attitudes and slang (thus establishing one of the show's themes: good elocution is only "skin deep"). But she captures the heart of an eager young man named Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

ROOTLEAF STEW
We all remember Yoda's special dish for the impatient Jedi-in-training, Luke Skywalker. Ah yes, Rootleaf Stew. Now you can remake Yoda's very own recipe to feed your own Jedi apprentice.
*3 c. coarsely chopped mushrooms
*1 med. onion, chopped
*1/4 c. butter
*1 c. 1/2-in. potato cubes
*1 c. boiling water
*2 c. milk
*2 egg yolks
*2 c. sour cream
*2 tsp. salt
*1/4 tsp. pepper
*1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
*1/8 tsp. mace
*1/8 tsp. nutmeg
*Chopped parsley
Cook mushrooms and onion in butter in heavy saucepan for 3 minutes. Add potatoes and water; bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender; remove from heat. Beat milk and egg yolks together with fork. Combine with cream, salt, pepper, thyme, mace and nutmeg. Stir into hot mixture gradually; bring just to a boil, stirring constantly. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with parsley. Yield: 6 servings.
BANTHA MILK
Every little boy loves his blue Bantha milk! What? Your planet isn't inhabited with big hairy Banthas? Well here's an artificial solution:
*1 glass full of cow milk (per person)
*2-3 drops of vanilla extract
*3-4 tsp. sugar
*1-2 drops of blue food coloring
Pour cow secretion into a cup. Add vanilla extract; add sugar; finally; add blue food coloring. Stir until the mixture looks like Luke Skywalker's Bantha Milk back on Tatooine. NOTE: Bantha Milk is sweeter than most other creature's milk.
JURI JUICE
Kabe, the Chadra-Fan back in Mos Eisley, was addicted to the sweet liquor, Juri Juice. We've gotten Wurhur the bartender himself to sell his special blend of off-world fruits so that we could bring you this enticing non-alcoholic brew!
*1 3-oz. package cherry gelatin
*1 6-oz. can frozen lemonade
*1 qt. cranberry juice cocktail
*1 pt. ginger ale, chilled
Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water; stir in lemonade, cranberry juice cocktail and 3 cups cold water. Pour over ice in punch bowl; pour in ginger ale slowly. Yield: 25 servings.
BANTHA STEAK
One of Tatooine's most prized dishes is it's Bantha Steaks. Tasty, succulent, juicy--their meat is a common delicacy that the universe has loved for ages. Here is an extravagant recipe for all steak lovers.
*3 lb. round steak, 2 in. think
*Seasoned meat tenderizer
*1/2 c. beef broth
*1 c. dry white wine
*1/2 c. butter
*3 tsp. lemon juice
*1/2 tsp. pepper
*1/4 c. minced parsley
*1/4 c. minced chives
*1 4-oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
Sprinkle steak with meat tenderizer. Pierce surface at 1-inch intervals with fork. Cover; refrigerate over night. Cook steak on grill 6 inches from coals for 20 minutes on each side. Combine broth, wine, butter, lemon juice and pepper in saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer until butter is melted. Add parsely, chives and mushrooms. Carve steak across grain in diagonal slices. Serve with sauce. Yield: 6 servings.
BBQ DEWBACK RIBS
Another treat coming from Tatooine is it's prized Dewback ribs. While not as high-class as the Bantha Steaks, the ribs are just as enjoying.
*4 lb. country-style spareribs
*1 lge. onion, sliced
*1 tsp. salt
*1 tsp. paprika
*1/2 tsp. celery salt
*1/4 c. (packaged) brown sugar
*1/4 c. vinegar

Combine all remaining ingredients into small saucepan; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce oven to 350 degrees. Pour sauce over spareribs; turn, coating with sauce. Bake for 1 hour or until tender, basting every 15 minutes with sauce. Yield: 4 servings.
