Third annual Earth Keeper Clean Sweep
This is the script to the second 2007 Earth Keeper Clean Sweep Update.
These are days when I'm rummaging through my basement, putting together a
collection of specific tools and equipment for the beginning of the maple syrup
season. Gathering sap is unique part of Upper Peninsula life, dating back to
traditions of the Ojibway, hundreds if not thousands of years ago. It's a time
when temperatures fall below freezing by night and into the 40's F during the
day. Some years sap flows but a few days, most often two or three weeks. Even
then, it's always an intermittent process. The trees I tap are on a remote piece
of land twenty miles north of Marquette. I've discovered that to have a good
maple syrup season you need to watch the weather, be prepared, carry through the
tapping and boiling process with special, reverent care.
There's trouble afoot. The word from our north country neighbors, the New
England maple producers, is that irregular seasonal patterns over recent years
are wrecking havoc with our maple trees. Since 1971, according to the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data, winter temperatures in the
Northeast have increased 2.8 degrees. The progression of the maple-sugaring
season is moving earlier and earlier and also getting shorter. Tim Perkins of
the Maple Research Center at the University of Vermont, predicts that if this
trend continues, large syrup producers will no longer harvest enough sap to make
their operations worthwhile. His colleague, the New York Times quoted plant
biologist Tom Vogelmann. "It's within, well, our lifetimes, " he says, "that
you'll probably see this happen."
This disturbing shift of the earth's natural rhythm is attributed to climate
change. Whatever opinion you may hold on this subject, even extreme skeptics
admit that the human factor in the increasing pollution of the earth's
atmosphere is a critical component. Like children awakening from sleep, we are
all becoming aware of the fragile interconnectedness of all things.
Part of any lasting correction will need to be connected to a new, unprecedented
respect for the natural world. One of the greatest impact can be made when we
see models of interfaith cooperation and prophetic unite not just
environmentalists, but people from all walks of life. The controversial Nation
of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan stepped down from a powerful, controversial
ministry last week in Detroit telling tens of thousands of followers that Jesus
Christ and the Prophet Muhammad would embrace each other with love if they were
on the stage behind him. "Our lips are full of praise,' he said, "but our hearts
are far removed from the prophets we all claim. That's why the world is in the
shape that it's in."
Here in Northern Michigan, Buddhists, Jews, Catholics, and leaders from nine
faith traditions are currently working together in a historic environmental
initiative. Along with the leadership of Superior Watershed Partnership and the
EPA, we're moving forward with plans for a Peninsula-wide collection of unused,
outdated pharmaceuticals (medicines) during the two weeks following the
festivals of Passover and Easter.
In days ahead as I trudge on snowshoes tapping trees and gathering sap, I'll be
remembering the warnings from New England. I'll also be carried by hope that
step-by-step, all of us are awakening to a new urgency about the earth, as
naturalist Lon Emerick would put it, that we not so much "live on, but with."
2007 U.P. PHARMACEUTICAL CLEAN SWEEP
When: 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday April 21 (Earth Day)
Items to be accepted: Unused and outdated prescriptions and medications
Location: Across the Upper Peninsula at a church parking lot near you.
Collection sites will be announced in April. This effort is being sponsored by
leaders of the Roman Catholic, Lutheran, United Methodist, Buddhist, Baha'i,
Jewish, Unitarian Universalist, Presbyterian, and Episcopal communities of
Northern Michigan in cooperation with the Superior Watershed Partnership and the
Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.
For more information call the Superior Watershed Partnership at 906-228-6095.

Al-Mulk
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is Able to do all things. (1) Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed.[] And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving; (2) Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creation of the Most Gracious. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" (3) Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out (4) And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayâtin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire (5) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allâh) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination (6) When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth (7) It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" (8) They will say: "Yes indeed a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allâh never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" (9) And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (10) Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire (11) Verily, those who fear their Lord unseen (i.e. they do not see Him, nor His Punishment in the Hereafter), theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). (12) And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men). (13) Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything). (14) He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it), so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection. (15) Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allâh), will not cause the earth to sink with you, and then it as in an should quake? (16) Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allâh), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning. (17) And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers of Allâh), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)? (18) Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Gracious (Allâh). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything. (19) Who is he besides the Most Gracious that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion (20) Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth). (21) Is he who walks (without seeing) on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks upright on a Straight Way (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism)? (22) Say it is He Who has created you, and endowed you with hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts. Little thanks you give. (23) Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)." (24) They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass if you are telling the truth?" (25) Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The knowledge (of its exact time) is with Allâh only, and I am only a plain warner." (26) But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will change and trun black with sadness and in grief and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!" (27) Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If Allâh destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us — who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?" (28) Say: "He is the Most Gracious (Allâh), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who is it that is in manifest error." (29) Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to sink away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?" (30) (Less)

But in my heart I felt I should go to do what Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has commanded me, so I went out and came upon some boys who were playing in the street. All of a sudden Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who had come up behind caught me by the back of the neck, and when I looked at him he was laughing. He said, "Did you go where I ordered you, little Anas?" "Yes, I am on my way, messenger of Allah." (Muslim).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
196. Abu Huraira told that when Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked to invoke curse on the polytheists he replied, "I was not sent as one given to cursing; I was sent only as a mercy."
(Muslim).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
197. Al-Aswad told that he asked A'isha what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) use to do in his house, she replied that he used to engage himself in Mihna i.e. the service of his family, and when the time for prayer came, he went out to prayer.
(Bukhari).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
198. Jabir b. Samura said Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was far from talkative. (He spoke only when he had a good reason for doing so).
(Sharra-as-Sunna).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
199.If anyone of you sees something objectionable, he should change it with his hand, but if he cannot, he should change it with his tongue, and if he cannot he should do it in his heart, that being the weakest form of faith.
(Muslim).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
200. Anas told that when Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shook hands with a man, he did not withdraw his hand till the other did so, and he was not seen to put forward his knees in front of one with whom he was sitting.
(Tirmidhi).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
201. Hind, son of Khadija from her former husband, says about the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Kind of heart, he was nice and sweet-tempered. He never liked to displease or cause offence to anybody. He thanked even for trifling favours. He took whatever food was placed before him, without making any adverse remark. He never got angry for anything concerning his own person, nor did he think of taking revenge or letting down anybody, but if anyone opposed what was just and right, he used to get sore and helped the right cause with all his might." I [Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)] forbade that a sword which has " It is not allowable for a man to keep apart from his brother for more than three days, the one turning away and the on"
(Tirmidhi). (Muhammad The Ideal Prophet. by Sayyid Suliman Nadwi).
202.Abdullah b. al-Harith b. Jaz said he had not seen no one more given to smiling than Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
(Tirmidhi).
(Sayings of Muhammad. by Prof. Ghazi Ahmad).
203. Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's belly for forty days in the form of a seed, then he is a clot of blood for a like period, then a morsel of flesh for a like period, then there is sent to him the angel who blows the breath of life into him and who is commanded about four matters (NOTE 2) to write down his means of livelihood, his life span, his actions, and whether happy or unhappy. By Allah, other than Whom there is no god, verily one of you behaves like the people of Paradise until there is but an arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written overtakes him and so he behaves like the people of Hell-fire and thus enters it; and one of you behaves like the people of Hell-fire until there is but an arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written overtakes him and so he behaves like the people of Paradise and thus enters it.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
204.Actions are but by intention and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus he whose migration (NOTE 3) was for Allah and His Messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage was for that he for which he migrated.
(Bukhari).

(Ibn Majah and Daraqutni).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
209.Hazrat Umar (Allah be pleased with him) said: One day while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) there appeared before us a man whose clothes were exceedingly white and whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of journeying were to be seen on him and none of us knew him. He walked and sat down by the Prophet (peace be upon him). Resting his knees against his and placing the palm of his hands on his thigh, he said: O Muhammad, tell me about Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the zakat (NOTE 4) , to fast in Ramadan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House (NOTE 5) if you are able to do so. He said: You have spoken rightly, and we were amazed at him asking him and saying that he had spoken right. He said: Then tell me about iman (NOTE 6) . The Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him ) said: It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers and the Last Day, and to believe in divine destiny, both the good and evil thereof. He said: You have spoken rightly. He said: Then tell me about ihsan (NOTE 7) , The Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him ) said: It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you. He said then tell me about the Hour (NOTE 8) , The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The one questioned about it knows no better than the questioner. He said: Tell me about its signs. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The slave-girl will give birth to her mistress (NOTE 9) and that you will see the barefooted naked, destitute herdsmen competing in constructing lofty buildings. Then he took himself off and I stayed for a time. Then the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon) said: O Umar, do you know who the questioner was? I said: Allah and hid Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It was Gabriel, who came to you to teach you your religion.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
210.That which is lawful is plain and that which is unlawful is plain and between the two if them are doubtful matters about which not many people know. Thus he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honour, but he who falls into doubtful matters falls into that which is unlawful, like the shepherd who pastures around the sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Truly every king has a sanctuary, and truly Allah's sanctuary is His prohibitions. Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if diseased, all of it is diseased. Truly it is the heart.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
211.What I have forbidden to you, avoid; what I have ordered you [to do], do as much of it as you can. It was only their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their Prophets that destroyed those who were before you.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
212.Leave that which makes you in doubt for that which does not make you doubt.

214.Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people.
(Tirmidhi).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
215.Purity is half of faith. Al-hamdu lillah [Praise be to Allah] fills the scales, and Subhana 'llah [How far is Allah from every imperfection] and Al-hamdu lillah [Praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
216.I have been ordered to fight (NOTE 10) against people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and until he perform the prayers and pay the zakat, and if they do so, they will have gained protection from me for their lives (NOTE 11) and property, unless [they do acts that are punishable] in accordance with Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah the Almighty.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
217.Verily Allah has prescribed proficiency in all things. Thus, if you kill, kill well; and if you slaughter, slaughter well. Let each one of you sharpen his blade and let him spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
218.There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.
(Ibn Majah and Daraqutni).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
219. Allah the Almighty is good and accepts only that which is good. Allah has commanded the Messengers, and the Almighty has said: "O ye Messengers! Eat of the good things and do right." (NOTE 12) And Allah has said: "O ye who believe ! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you." (NOTE 13) Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned [the case of] a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky [saying]: O Lord! O Lord! - while his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered!
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
220.Among the words people obtained from the First Prophecy (NOTE 14) are: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish. (NOTE 15)
(Bukhari).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
221.None of you [truly] believes until his inclination is in accordance with what I ((Muhammad), may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him ) have brought.
(Kitab al-Hujja).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
222.Righteousness is good morality, and wrongdoing is that which wavers in your soul and which you dislike people finding out about.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
223.Allah the Almighty has laid down religious duties, so do not neglect them; He has set boundaries, so do not overstep them; He has prohibited some things, so do not violate them; about some things He was silent out of compassion for you, not forgetfulness, so seek not after them.
(Daraqutni)
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
224.Each person's every joint must perform a charity every day they comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it is a charity; a good word is a charity; every step you take to prayers (i.e. on your way to the mosque) is a charity and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
225.The blood of a Muslim may not be legally spilt other than in one of three [instances]: the married person commits adultery; a life for life; and one who forsakes his religion and abandons the community.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
226.Were people to be given in accordance with their claim, men would claim the fortunes and lives (NOTE 16) of [other] people, but the onus of proof is on the claimant and the taking of an oath is the incumbent upon him who denies.
(Al-Baihaqi).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
227.Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddique (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A man who harms a Muslim and deceives him, is accursed."
(Tirmidhi).

(Ibn Majah, Baihaqi).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
229.Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then He explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. But if he has intended a bad deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by . Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
230.Do not envy one another; do not inflate prices one to another; do not hate one another; do not turn away from one another; and do not undercut one another, but be you. O servants of Allah, brothers. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim: he neither oppresses him nor does he fail him, he neither lies to him nor does he hold him in contempt. Piety is right here-and the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed to his breast three times. It is evil enough for a man to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. The whole of a Muslim for another is inviolable: his blood, his property and his honour.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
231.Some of the Companions (NOTE 17) of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet:(peace be upon him) O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made off with the rewards: they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give away in charity the superfluity of their wealth. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Has not Allah made things for you to give away in charity? Truly every tasbiha (NOTE 18) is a charity every takbira (NOTE 19) is a charity, every tahmida (NOTE 20) is a charity and every tahlia (NOTE 21) is a charity; to enjoin a good action is a charity, to forbid an evil action is a charity and in a sexual act each of you there are a charity. They said: O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his sexual desire will he have some reward for that? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do you [not] think that were he to act upon it unlawfully he wold be sinning? Likewise, if he has acted upon it lawfully he will have a reward.
(Muslim).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
232.Allah the Almighty has said: Whosoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I shall be at war with him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have imposed upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hands with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to ask me for refuge, I would surely grant him it.
(Bukhari).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
233.The son of Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) use to say: At evening do not expect [to live till] morning, and at morning do not expect [to live till] evening. Take from your health for your illness and from your life for your death (NOTE 22).
(Bukhari).
(Forty Hadith translated by. Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies).
234.A man came to the Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him ) and said: O Messenger of Allah, direct me to an act which, if I do it, [will cause] Allah to love me and people to love me. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Renounce the world and Allah will love you, and renounce what people possess and people will love you.
(Ibn Majah).

It is the fifth pillar of Islam, an obligation that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so. It is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to Allah. The pilgrimage occurs from the 8th to 12th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. Because the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, eleven days shorter than the Gregorian calendar used in the Western world, the Gregorian date of the Hajj is eleven days earlier from year to year. In 2007, the Hajj was from December 1721; in 2008 from December 610, and in 2009 from November 2529.
The Hajj is associated with the life of Muhammad, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca is considered by Muslims to stretch back to the time of Ibrahim and Isma'il, prominent figures in both Islam and in Judaism. Pilgrims join processions of hundreds of thousands of people, who simultaneously converge on Mecca for the week of the Hajj, and perform a series of rituals. As part of the Hajj, each person walks counter-clockwise seven times about the Kaaba, the cube-shaped building which acts as the Muslim direction of prayer (qibla); runs back and forth between the hills of Al-Safa and Al-Marwah; drinks from the Zamzam Well; goes to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil; and throws stones in a ritual Stoning of the Devil. The pilgrims then shave their heads, perform an animal sacrifice, and celebrate the three day global festival of Eid al-Adha.
As of 2008, about three million pilgrims participate in this annual pilgrimage. Crowd-control techniques have become critical, and because of the large numbers of people, many of the rituals have become more stylized. It is not necessary to kiss the Black Stone, but merely to point at it on each circuit around the Kaaba. Throwing pebbles was done at large pillars, which for safety reasons in 2004 were changed to long walls with catch basins below to catch the stones. The slaughter of an animal can be done either personally, or by appointing someone else to do it, and so forth. But even with the crowd control techniques, there are still many incidents during the Hajj, as pilgrims are trampled in a crush, or ramps collapse under the weight of the many visitors, causing hundreds of deaths. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj has a website, with the message, "Be peaceful, orderly and kind. No crushing."
Pilgrims can also go to Mecca to perform the rituals at other times of the year. This is sometimes called the "lesser pilgrimage", or Umrah. However, even if they perform the Umrah, they are still obligated to perform the Hajj at some other point in their lifetimes.

Then give the good news to the Believers that a very great bounty from Allah awaits them. And obey not (the desires) of the unbelievers and the hypocrites; and ignore the harm (and annoyances) they cause you, but put thy trust in Allah. For sufficient is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah Al-Ahzaab (33), verses 45-48] Saturday, 11th of February 2006: Thousands of British Muslims joined pro-Islam protest in London's Trafalgar Square to express their anger at the publication of insulting cartoons in a Danish newspaper depicting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). For tafseer please visit www.tafsir.com. Al-Mulk In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is Able to do all things.
