(at the time, I didn't know who JASRAC was, I thought it was some troublemaker who wrongfully reports videos. PLEASE DONT SUE ME JASRAC.) Apparently, JASRAC goes around the internet sending cease and desist to people that use ANY content that's protected under them. A quick search tells me that they've sent C&D's to LYRICS TRANSLATION sites too. From what I hear on the internet, they're like the RIAA but WORSE. (How can you be worse than the RIAA?) Also, JASRAC apparently protects many japanese artists, pretty much making it hard to not use content protected by them. So as of this moment, I am going to start to avoid using Japanese music (except video game music) in my videos altogether. Until someone gets their act together. (JASRAC? RIAA? COPYRIGHT LAW? I'm so confused about this situation I don't know who to complain about.) Music is "Crosshairs" by Dangerdoom. I used this music because, like "mangekyou", I LIKE THIS MUSIC. Hmm... I suck at windows movie maker. UPDATE: Found a list by Jpopmusic forums that shows what JASRAC has removed.
