<br /> <br /> <br />xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <br /> <br />I've a thousand ways to ruin all, <br />But I'm walking to poor choices <br />A negative pulse will be searching for me. <br /> <br />Immobilised in the cerebral cell <br />I'm observing my steps...in vain... <br /> <br />Are you coming to poison my remarks? <br />This grating <br />Offers <br /> <br />Protective trees and feeble barriers, <br />But is too distant, <br />The innocence's round dance. <br /> <br />My various eyes are melting, <br />'cause the past is kidding me with the same <br />Consoling mask, <br />I'm coming to The Passage, <br />The exit from this opaque, filthy case..... <br />Come to listen....it's so refined the whisper of my rise <br />Coming to the passage! Moins accessible. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> (Less) Channel: dailymotion

Trapped in (More) lyrics:I've been living with a shadow overhead
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed
I've been lonely for so long
Trapped in the past, I just can't seem to move on

I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
Just in case I ever need em again someday
I've been setting aside time
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
Oh oh oh

I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine
I've been searching but I just don't see the signs
I know that it's out there
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere

I've been looking for someone to shed some light
Not just somebody just to get me throught the night
I could use some direction
And I'm open to your suggestions

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart again
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end

There are moments when I don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart to you
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do
And if you help me to start again
You know that I'll be there for you in the end (Less) Channel: megavideo

Mission 11: Last Train Home
(More) This covers the first part of Mission 11: Last Train Home from the PS2 version of The Great Escape.
Here's the original walkthrough I wrote for this mission:
Mission 11: Last Train Home
Characters: Hendly and Blythe
Inventory: 2nd Class Train Ticket
Objective(s): Jump from the Train
Jump from the Train
Equip the 2nd Class Train Ticket. When the conductor walks to you, press "action" to show the Ticket. Un-equip the Ticket and order Blythe to follow you, walk through the train cars (check the Map). At some point a cinematic will show Gestapo Agents searching the train.
New Objective: Hide from the Gestapo
Go as far as you can go. You can't jump the train yet. Walk into the bathroom and have Blythe follow you. Order Blythe to stay put, then close the door to the bathroom.
New Objective: Find a Key
Run back toward the Agents, check the keyhole (and Map) for the location of the Agents. When you get to the car where the Agents are asking the passengers for their tickets, hide in the bathroom. Look through the keyhole until the Agent, and Officer following him, leave.
Find a Key
Continue running toward the train engine; don't hang around MacDonald in one of the cars for too long, the Soldier will get suspicious. When you can't go any further, climb the ladder, peek up to make sure no obstacles are coming your way. Run along the roof of the train cars; crouch if you're going into tunnel. At the end climb down the ladder.
Save your game.
Crouch down and peek around the corner. Wait for the Officer to move away and have his back to you. Sneak up behind him and choke him. Get the two First Aid Kits off the crates. Walk slowly over to the man standing on the next car. Press "action" until the energy bar is gone to pick his pockets. You get the 1st Class Train Ticket. Equip it and walk into this train car. Press "action" to show the conductor the ticket.
Follow the Officer out of the car, when he has his back to you choke him. Run into the next train car and grab the two First Aid kits and Master Train Keys.
New Objective: Get Blythe
Hide behind the boxes on the right side of the room. Wait for the conductor to turn his back to you then choke him. Run back to the first car you climbed down the ladder to. Equip the Master Train Keys and open the weapons cache. Get the First Aid Kit, Revolver, Revolver Ammo, MP40 Machine Gun, and Machine Gun Ammo. Go to the ladder and equip the Revolver.
Save your game.
Climb the ladder and run for the area that connects the cars together (don't climb down the ladder just jump). Wait for Soldiers, Officers, and Agents to climb down the ladder. Hit them at close range with the "attack" button, then go into First Person and shoot them in the head. (You don't have much ammo and you'll need your Machine Gun for later.) Continue this strategy until you get back to the 2nd class train cars.
Save your game.
Shoot any Germans that get in your way with the machine Gun. When you get to the last car equip the Master Train Keys and unlock the door. Then open the bathroom door and order Blythe to follow. Watch the cinematic. (Less) Channel: youtube

Here are the lyrics if u want to sing along:
When he was seeing her
You could see he had his doubts
And now he's missing her
Because he knows he's missing out
Now it's haunting him
The memories like a ghost
He's so terrified
Cause no one else even comes close
He's a guy that you should feel sorry for
He had the world but he thought that he wanted more
I owe it all to the mistake that he made back then
I owe it all to my girl's ex-boyfriend
So then, along comes me,
This undeserving mess (undeserving mess)
Who would believe my life
Would be so blessed (life would be so blessed)
Two years ago
He left all that debris (left all that to debris)
Who would of known
It would be everything I need
He's a guy that you should feel sorry for
He had the world but he thought that he wanted more
I owe it all to the mistake that he made back then
I owe it all to my girl's ex-boyfriend
If it wasn't for him
I would still be searching
If it wasn't for him
I wouldn't know my best friend
If it wasn't for him
He would be able to see
If it wasn't for him
He would be as happy as me
She and I settled down you can bet
That he is going to have to settle for less
He's someone that I would hate to be
I got the girl and he's left with just the memory.
He's a guy that you should feel sorry for
He had the world but he thought that he wanted more
I owe it all to the mistake that he made back then
I owe it all to my girl's ex-boyfriend
If it wasn't for him
I would still be searching
If it wasn't for him
I wouldn't know my best friend
If it wasn't for him

Sorry that we took so long
You probably thought we forgot your song
It makes us smile
Just so you know
To see your eyes at our shows
I wrote this song
While I was drunk
I hope you dont mind
That it was wine
But you called me and said
You dont want your friends to know
But what if you had to go
What about then
What about then mildred
Excuse me I mean music
But what about then
[chorus:]
Sweet chariot of fire
Come swing us all away
Sing us a song a day
Away, away, zoom [x4]
Or maybe you're in your car just driving away
And everything's okay
Floating around
when theres no need to walk
And theres nothing but gods
And feeling no talk
Where there is golden bees and silver birds
And dreams are like shoot
They come true and heard
Every moment
Feels like a spin mildred
I mean
A spin music
So what about then
[chorus]
When every star flickers
Bright as a sister
Just but a whisper commands your love
You write sun in the skies
All the flowers harmonize
Thats where your starry eyes will stand above
Mildred, mildred
(oh f*** i mean mildred)
Mildred, mildred
(how the f*** you gon tell me its mildred)
Mildred, mildred
(sorry) (not music)
(f*** it)
*************************************
You mean the world to me
Just a minute ago x3
I said some things
I know that I can't change that
But when I just screamed
That didn't mean for us to break, break our pact
(Chorus)
I'm searching for a way back
But I'm looking through a peep hole
I'm trying to find my way back
I wanna be your hero
I'm here you're there x3
Between us there's air
But no one is breathing, such room
How can this be
It's your face I see
This is so crazy
We're endlessly room
Chorus
I'm searching for my way back girl (repeat)
I love you, forever
I dont care what it takes
But I know we've got to get there
We've got to get there
I can see it now you and me
I know nothing will change
If the both of us just sit here
If we just sit here
Come on now join me girl, can't you see
Hey
Chorus
I'm lost
Where am I
I just wanna go home
I'm out here by myself
I'm lost in space
I'm a rock and roll star
I just want to see you
Hey I'm a rock and roll star
I just want to meet you
I love you baby, love you baby, love you baby (Less) Channel: youtube

It actually implements the API that Windows implements to allow applications to use Windows services. In Wine, however the services are implemented in Linux and Wine just translates the API calls from the programs running in wine to calls to its own code, and is even able to use existing Windows libraries to make certain programs, such as Textaloud, work in Wine.
TextAloud is a popular speech synthesizer, useful for reading web content and text files. To get it on Wine, what I did basically was install Textaloud's installer (downloadable from the "NextUp" website). I had to instal a MSI package installer (via Wine-Doors installer), then I was able to install several of the free voice packages available on the "NextUp" website., One of those packages contain my favorite voice "Eddie", which is one of the best speech synthesizer packs I've found that can fluidly convert any text into understandable speech.. Most speech conversion, even the modern stuff, uses huge wave tables, like 600 megs, and don't sound nearly as fluid as the basic "Eddie" voice.
The advantage of using TextAloud over other speech synthesizers is that it offers a firefox plugin that will permit textaloud to read content for you from any web page, and either speek it out or save it to a mp3 file.
I use it so often when I don't want to read a page, that I was grasping for it when it wasn't available. So I determined that I had to get it working in Linux.
I found a tutorial on getting Ventrillo to work on Wine, by searching for "sapi wine" in google. I followed the same tutorial that only specified some files to download and some things to install.. I then tried the textaloud program again and it passed through and got me to the interface. But it was giving me OLE errors if I tried to get it to read anything.
Fiddling with a bit, I found out that the SAPI 4 voice will work, but not the SAPI 5. Big deall.. All I want is to use the Eddie voice to read pages.. I purchased a "English" SAPI 5 voice from one of the vendors through them, it was about 40 dollars, and given I had already configured Eddie to read text files it was tough to get the "Queens English" speaker to say the same things as fluidly.
Textaloud has a feature for fixing pronunciation, you can either replace a strange sounding work with a phonetically hacked word, or you can use a regular expression to extract useful information from patterns and turn it into something the voice can more easily process. Like I have a regex pattern that takes words with different case letters (without spaces) and breaks them up into individual words with spaces. In some cases where the translator comes across a unit of measure like inches, I can have it search for patterns like a number followed by "in." and have that translate "in." to "inches" for that special case.
The beauty of getting Windows programs to work in Wine, given that Wine stores windows application installs within the user's home directory, and not in the system directories, to replicate an entire install of Windows applications only requires copying that directory. This could look like pirating, but believe me, if you paid for the applications you should be able to backup your install for indefinate use. Microsoft and other companies are really not interested in people buying applications for indefinate use, that means that people will likely never pay for any future releases of the tool. To stimulate people into repurchasing applications, Microsoft releases a new operating system every 2-4 years whether it is needed or not. The direct result is a mass repurchase of software, that makes everyone and Microsoft richer. But makes consumers as a result poorer. The future of applications is to rent applications, and is what Microsoft has tried to do for a long time. We may not be able to rely on google if this fits into their business plan. I think it's rather safe just to use linux as nothing can really go away on linux.
Wine certainly won't go away, and will just continue to mimic everything in windows to the point that purchasing Windows won't be required to use Windows software.. That sounds bad, but if you've considered how long Microsoft made consumers wait for technologies that were readily available 10 years ago on other platforms, it's much deserved.
For example, while in Windows 98, users were forced to work with IRQ settings and DMA addressing, Amiga users were up and working with multimedia rich content and were not required to mess with dip switches or such.. Microsoft is only getting around to realizing something like the Amiga's in a internal OS their are coining as "Singularity".. To me it only seems like Java running on an Amiga, without and MMU. Once again Microsoft delivers yesterdays technology today. (Less) Channel: youtube

LYRICS
Yo Mr. President,
Yo, yo Mr. president
You stole the election then
Drove us into a deficit
You told us there were weapons in
Iraq wit false intelligence
No evidence
Now theres 3000 dead veterans
And when the polls show
You a flop like Kevin Federline
You laugh like this is Letterman
And act like it's irrelevant
You can try to frighten us with your rhetoric
Well I'll say what I gotta say,
its C-DuuuuuB!
Yo Mr. President-
You setting the wrong precedents
Crusading into Arab nations,
Like we Heaven-Sent
"It's Good versus Evil"
So "We the People" must represent
Go get your sons and daughters
To send to slaughter, no questioning
"Lets get em boys! Give em a taste of their own medicine!
Saddam has some bombs, got some bad bad weapons there!"
"But Bush!.." nah there'll br no second-guessing him
And if you caught protesting him
They send you in for questioning
Then, the detain time-
is indefinite
So watch out who you messin wit
Dem boys in blue be listening
Them Government spies is
searching through your messages
Rejecting all our rights then
Claim that they protectin them
Mean time, teens die in this land we should never have been steppin in
And they still cant tell us
where the hell those "weapons" went?!
They caught up in their lies
But still there's no correctin them
They still blame Nine Eleven
Which, never was connected with
This misadventure of a war built on misconceptions,
Disguised lies, political crimes and misdirection.
This fear and this conception that we gotta go get him,
Or else we'll be the victims again and let the terrorists win
Is this a mission for them-- them women, children and men,
Of a land so strange and far away, Or is this revenge?
Either way we can't stay the course we're in
Too many lost lives from this war we're in!
On both sides, so I pick up my pen
And hope I, with dope rhymes, can help the healing begin
But to speak truth to power you dont need a beat
I'm tellin You- go to the polls and vote pro-peace
Cuz this aint no cartoon, naw this is 3D
This war got our soldiers sleepin six feet deep..
So who's the true terrorists here?
Whose threatening our rights and scaring us here?
Red alert level's at an all time high
So vote Republican or we're all gone die! HA
We let them make this happen
Step up and take some action
There is a way to change our current direction
Vote someone pro-peace in the '08 election.

This song if one her best songs!!! seriously it's that good! and i think this was the only yano maki song we could hear around youtube for a while, and some people made the horrible mistake of confusing her with Ayumi Hamasaki!? that is no *simple* mistake at all, Maki's music is much more heartfelt than Ayumi Hamasaki's... anyway its excellent. Lyrics: urusakute nemurenai kara karada wo okoshita shisen wa nazoru akai NEON dake ga mejirushi no toori koko wa hai-iro no kuni mado no soto ni anata wa inai koko wa hai-iro no kuni kagami no naka ni watashi wa inai machi ni deta nara daremo ga sou daremo ga isogiashi ikuhyaku mono me ga watashi wo mushi suru you de kurushii mainichi ga tatakai de dare mo tasukete wa kurenai to shitte iru... sonna koto kurai wakatte iru wa taiyou wa arawarenai kitto kono sora ni wa dakedo semete torimaku mainichi dake demo kaetai yo watashi wa i no atarite karuku osaetsutsu mo zutto chiisana chiisana ai wo ai wo sagashite ita ima kono shunkan ni watashi no naka no ANTENA ga anata no sonzai wo kanjitara kono hoshi ni ikiru imi ga umareru yo hanatsu aoi kaori ni sasoware ringo wo katte mita keredo nazeka ichido mo kuchi ni suru koto wa nakatta koko wa hai-iro no kuni sou toki wa RIZUMU wo kaenai koko wa hai-iro no kuni mou kuuki sura iki wo shinai ningenrashii nioi ni musebinaita hi mo attakke HO-MU de otoshita keitai hirotte moratta toki yappari i no atari wo karuku osaetsutsu mo soko de hajimete chiisana ai wo ai wo kanjite ita ima kono shunkan ni watashi no naka no yaiba de yami kiriwake anata to deaetara kono hoshi de ikiru koto wo nozomu yo kitto... kono sora no shita no doko ni anata wa iru no? kono sora no shita no koko ni watashi wa iru noni ima kono shunkan ni watashi no naka no ANTENA ga anata no sonzai wo kanjitara kono hoshi ni ikiru imi ga umareru yo Translation: It's loud & I can't sleep, so my body got up My eyes have only a red neon remaining which is a street sign Over here, it's a gray country; you're not outside my window Over here, it's a grey country; I'm not in the mirrow If you go out to town, someone, yes, someone will be at a quick pace The hundreds of eyes seems like they are ignoring me & it's painful I know that everyday I will struggle & no one will help me out.... I know that much I'm sure the sun won't show up in the sky But I want to change [something] even if it's just these days that surround me I lightly clutched my stomach, all the way searching for a small, small love Now, in this moment, when the antenna inside of me senses your life, the meaning of living on this star is born Enticed by the pale scent it released, I bought the apple But why haven' I tasted it once? Over here, it's a gray country; yes, time won't change the rhythm Over here, it's a gray country; even the air won't breathe anymore There were days I was choked to tears by a human scent When someone picked up the phone I dropped at the train staion After all, I lightly clutched my stomach, For the first time, I felt a small love there Now, in this moment, if I carve the darkness with the sword I have inside of me [to] see you, I will surely wish to live on this star... Where are you under this sky? [although] I am here under this sky Now, in this moment, when the antenna inside of me senses your life, the meaning of living on this star is born Romaji&Translation: Cori, Visit her site! http://corichan.com Enjoy! She is the gain, and she is the pain She's running, she's searching through all the golden mountains. She's aching, she's waiting for the one could really be sure She's trying, she's collecting all the diamonds in the street. She's taking and she's dancing with the devils rushing away. She is my name, and she is my pain. She is my fame, and she is my gain. She's running, she's searching through all the golden mountains. She's aching, she's waiting for the one could really be sure.
