Self Illuminating Hair and Body Gel for Mardi Gras - Spring Break - Party Time .- St Patrick's Day - Summer Festivals - Clubs - Raves -Beach parties This has got to be the The Coolest Hair and Body gel on the planet! The photo you see here, was taken in TOTAL Darkness. The design took me approximately 20 minutes to apply the to my skin and hair using iGlow. I used 4 colors as I wanted to try and blend them into each other to see just what kind of unusual multi glowing effect I could create ad lib. The gel was easy to apply, and I found it fascinating to use!. This somewhat clumsy "artistic endeavour"was created from someone (yours truly) who has absoloutly no painting/drawing skills as such!. If a Klutz like me can do it, what ,I wonder, could the more artisticly inclined achieve? The weird thing is, you start out in total darkness, (in front of a mirror), and as you fire up iGlow, and mix,(3 minutes) the room suddently starts to become eerily discernable as the product actually starts the process of creating its own bright light source (as quick as 20 seconds... Enough to see by ...From thence forth, its merely a case of tracing out your intended pattern with the gel, and hey presto...you got glow!. You are in essence, "painting with light. Now, for the uninitiated, "iGlow" Self Illuminating Gel is the newly improved version of the wildly popular "Voltage" Hair Gel, now discontinued, and usurped by this brash new contender to the throne of light.. The difference is: iGlow glows (amazingly so), TWICE AS BRIGHTLY as the original Voltage gel, and now FIRES UP IN SECONDS instead of having to wait several minutes for the color to activate. A patented process takes ordinary hair color and makes it extraordinary, by adding self-illuminating glow. iGlow does not rely on UV, neon or black lights to create glow. Instead, it produces its own light. Tiny, microscopic particles in the gel come together in the mixing process to produce a bright colorful glow that can be seen in partial light and in the dark for at least 4-6 hours. A true Glow in the dark product. Eco friendly. No animal testing was used in hte manufacture of this item which is another plus factor about the product. The best thing is, while iGlow is classified as a "temporary hair color" it does not actually color the hair cuticle. Rather, It "coats" the hair with color. The gel is the delivery medium for the luminescence (glow). This means it is safe for color-treated or bleached hair when used as directed. The gel has an added "day tint" which will show up on the hair/Skin under normal lighting conditions. When lighting is reduced to about half-light - After sunet or indeed in Total Darkness as in the photo ( Indoors or out) all colors emit a stunning vibrant glow.. The iGlow Gel's effect is activated when you first open the container and mix the contents as instructed using the provided applicator. Once activated, the glow will last for at least 4-6 hours. Each container is intended for one-time application but depending on the effect desired and amount of gel used, one container is typically enough for two people as a little "dab" will go a long way. Create streaks or spikes of bright glowing color, or go all out with a full Glow effect. Usage hint: Blow-drying hair for 15 -20 seconds, will increase the intensity of the brightness but shorten the duration of the glow. iGlow is meant for short-term use only and should be washed out of the hair before going to bed. To remove iGlow simply shampoo out. iGlow is safe and non-toxic,(*FDA and EU safety approved for use on the hair and skin) but is not recommended for young children 8 years or under without supervision. Glows in the dark...without UV, neon or black lights. Lights up in seconds. Glows twice as brightly as Voltage Hair Gel Hair glows brightly for Hours (lasts for 4-6 hours)! Comes in 9 great colors. Washes off easily with shampoo. Main advantages of this unique Chemiluminescent glow product: Safe and fully tested for safe use on the hair and skin. Will Glow indoors or out without any other light source. No UV, Neon or recharging of any kind required. Use for Raves, Nightclubs, Music festivals, Halloween, Xmas and New Year, Celebrations, Parties, Spring Break, Mardi Gras, Carnivals, Fundraising, Sports events, special fx in movies etc... Hill's "soulful and rasping voice"[1] and talent for picking songs[2] have helped her to sell over 30 million records and accumulate 11 number one singles on the Country charts. Hill has been honored by the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the Grammy Awards, the American Music Awards and the People's Choice Awards. Her Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 with husband McGraw became the highest-grossing country tour of all time.[3] In 2001 she was named one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal. Biography [edit] Early life Hill was born Audrey Faith Perry in Ridgeland, Mississippi near Jackson, Mississippi. She was adopted as an infant, and raised by a couple in the nearby town of Star. Her adoptive parents raised their two (biological) sons and Hill in a very Christian environment.[2] Hill's vocal talent was apparent early, and she had her first public performance, a 4-H luncheon, when she was seven.[4] By the time she was a teenager, Hill was a regular performer at area churches, even those not in her own Baptist denomination.[5] At seventeen, Hill formed a band that played in local rodeos. She briefly attended college, but at 19 quit school to move to Nashville and pursue her dream of being a country singer. In her early days in Nashville, Hill auditioned to be a backup singer for Reba McEntire, but failed to secure the job.[2] After a stint selling t-shirts, Hill became a secretary at a music publishing firm.[4] Apart from her quest for entry into the music industry, Hill also began working towards a more robust family life. In 1988 she married songwriter and music executive Dan Hill, who provided the surname she would use as she became famous. Two years later she began a search for her natural mother, whom she eventually met and with whom she still corresponds.[6] A co-worker heard Hill singing to herself one day, and soon the head of her music publishing company was encouraging her to become a demo singer for the firm.[4] She supplemented this work by singing backup vocals for songwriter Gary Burr, who often performed his new songs at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe. During one of those performances, an executive from Warner Bros. Records was in the audience, and, impressed with Hill's voice, began the process of signing her to a recording contract.[2] [edit] 1993 1997: Country success Hill's debut album was Take Me as I Am (1993); sales were strong, buoyed by the chart success of "Wild One". Hill became the first female country singer in 30 years to hold Billboard's #1 position for four consecutive weeks when "Wild One" managed the feat in 1994.[7] Her version of Erma Franklin's "Piece of My Heart", also went to the top of the country charts in 1994,[4] although rock fans drew unflattering comparisons to Janis Joplin's cover.[citation needed] The album sold a total of 3 million copies.[4] Shortly after the release of her album, Hill found her marriage falling apart. She and Dan Hill divorced in 1994.[6] The recording of Faith's second album was delayed by surgery to repair a ruptured blood vessel on her vocal cords. It Matters to Me finally appeared in 1995 and was another success, with the title track becoming her fourth #1 country single. Several other top 10 singles followed, and this album also sold over 3 million copies.[4] The fifth single from the album, "I Can't Do That Anymore," was written by country music artist Alan Jackson. In the spring of 1996 Hill began the Spontaneous Combustion Tour with country singer Tim McGraw. At that time Hill had recently become engaged to her former producer, Scott Hendricks, and McGraw had recently broken an engagement. McGraw and Hill were quickly attracted to each other and Hill broke her engagement so that she and McGraw could begin dating. The pair became engaged on the tour and married on October 6, 1996.[6] They have three daughters together: Gracie Katherine (b. 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (b. 1998) and Audrey Caroline (b. 2001). Since their marriage, Hill and McGraw have strived to never be apart for more than three consecutive days.[2] [edit] 1998 2004: Pop crossover After the release of It Matters to Me, Hill took a three-year break from recording to give herself a rest from four years of touring and to begin a family with McGraw. During her break, she joined forces with her husband for their first duet, "It's Your Love". [1] The song stayed at Number 1 for six weeks[4] and won awards from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Hill has remarked that sometimes when they perform the song together, " it [doesn't] feel like anybody else was really watching."[1] She reentered the music business with 1998's Faith.[1] The album moved her closer towards a mainstream, pop-oriented sound, although it retained some country sound. "This Kiss" became a #1 country hit, and was the first of her singles to place on the pop charts, peaking at #7. The album sold over six million copies and delivered more hits including another duet with McGraw, "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me", "Let Me Let Go" and "The Secret Of Life".[4] To follow up this new found success Hill immediately released Breathe, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Country and all genre charts, ahead of albums by Mariah Carey and Savage Garden.[8] Although the album had few overt country sounds, it "complement[ed] her vocal strengths."[9] For the first time, the album consisted solely of songs about love and did not venture into the more somber territory that her previous albums had touched.[9] The title track, "Breathe", reached Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.[8] "The Way You Love Me" hit the top ten as well (#6), and became one of the longest running singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 (57 weeks).[citation needed] The album won Hill three Grammy Awards including Best Country Album, Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for Let's Make Love featuring Tim McGraw and Best Country Female Vocal Performance for Breathe.[10].[10] It also marked a step away from her girl-next-door image, as the videos and promotional pictures all portrayed a much sexier image. Breathe has sold almost 10 million copies worldwide.[11] Hill used her 1999 tour to support a national children's book drive. Fans who donated books at one of her concerts were entered into a drawing to meet her personally after the show.[12] The effort resulted in the donation of 35,000 children's books, which were distributed to hospitals, schools, libraries, and daycare centers in 40 cities across the United States.[13] 2000 was an especially busy year for Hill. Besides a successful tour with her husband, Hill was featured in a CBS television special, VH1's Behind the Music, VH1 Divas 2000, and the Lifetime cable channel's Intimate Portraits series.[8] She signed an endorsement deal with CoverGirl makeup.[4], performed at the Academy Awards and the Grammy Awards, appeared on the cover of numerous magazine, and performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl.[8] Hill was also named to Mr. Blackwell's 10-best dressed women of 2000, the only singer listed among actresses and other celebrities. Hill and McGraw also embarked on their first Soul2Soul tour the "Soul2Soul Tour 2000".[14] Musically, in 2000 Hill recorded a song for the movie Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The song also appeared on the pop and country charts. Hill's success on the pop charts disturbed some country music insiders, who questioned whether she was trying to dismiss her country roots and move into the pop genre. Despite the grumbling, Hill won the CMA Female Vocalist of The Year Award, and in her acceptance speech announced, "I love this business and I love this industry...and my heart is here."[8] In 2001, Hill recorded a song for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. "There You'll Be" also appeared on the album There You'll Be: The Best Of Faith Hill, an international greatest hits album. The album featured some dance mixes of "Piece Of My Heart," "Let Me Let Go," "The Way You Love Me" and "Breathe." In 2002, Hill released her new album with a more pop-oriented sound, Cry. The album "spotlight[ed] her impressive set of pipes", but also marked the completion of her "transformation into a pop diva", containing few nods to her country roots. Though the album debuted at #1 on Billboard magazine's pop and country album charts,[4] and Hill made her debut as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, the album's singles (including the title track "Cry", written and originally performed by Angie Aparo) received much less radio airplay than her previous smashes.[15] The album however, did win a Grammy Award and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.[10] Faith Hill's 2002 single "Baby You Belong" off her Cry album was used as the theme song for the movie Lilo & Stitch. The music video featured clips from the movie as well as performance clips, It was released and well received in Asia. Hill was also interested in branching out into acting. Although she was rumored to have won a part in Mel Gibson's We Were Soldiers, she did not actually appear in the movie.[16] Her movie debut came in the summer of 2004, when Hill co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Matthew Broderick and Glenn Close in director Frank Oz's remake of the 1975 thriller The Stepford Wives.[17] 2005 2006: Back to country roots In 2005, Faith Hill returned with her new country album, Fireflies. The CD debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Country and all genre albums charts, placing her among only a handful of artists to have 3 consecutive albums debut at number 1 on both charts.[18] The debut single, "Mississippi Girl", became Hill's highest-debuting single. The song was written specifically for her by John Rich (of Big and Rich) and Adam Shoenfield of MuzikMafia, and tells the abbreviated story of her life. Hill recorded two other songs by Rich, "Sunshine and Summertime" and "Like We Never Loved at All", both of which became successful singles.[19] The album marked a return to Hill's country roots and succeeded in reestablishing her place on country radio.[20] Her focus changed to charitable endeavors in 2005. In the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina, Hill and her husband, who was raised in Louisiana, joined groups taking supplies to Gulfport, Mississippi. The two also hosted several charity concerts to benefit those who were displaced by the storm.[21] Later in the year the couple established the Neighbor's Keeper Foundation, which provides funding for community charities to assist with basic humanitarian services in the event of a natural disaster or for desperate personal circumstances. After a six-year break from touring following the birth of her youngest daughter,[2] in 2006 Hill and husband Tim McGraw embarked on their Soul2Soul II Tour 2006. The tour became the highest grossing country music tour ever with a gross of $90 million.[22][3] It was named "Major Tour of the Year" by the prestigous Pollstar Magazine, beating out such heavyweights as Madonna and the Rolling Stones. In a special gesture, the couple donated all of the profits from their performance in New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina relief.[23] 2006 CMA Awards controversy In November 2006, Hill made entertainment news headlines when she appeared to react angrily to losing the Female Vocalist of the Year award to Carrie Underwood at the CMA Awards. Hill, who was backstage at the time, could be seen pacing in anticipation and throwing both hands in the air as if she had won, and then mouthing "What!?" into the camera and then stepping away from the camera after Underwood's name was called.[24] Hill claimed that her reaction was a joke, saying in a statement, "The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me. For this to become a focus of attention, given the talent gathered, is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving female vocalist of the year."[25] She later called Underwood to congratulate her and to clear up any misconceptions between the two singers.[26] Underwood has stated in public that she believes Hill meant no ill-will, and that although she did not believe Hill needed to apologize, her immediate attempt to make amends elevated Underwood's respect for her. Some fans, especially those of Underwood, remain unconvinced and believe that Hill was in fact upset at Underwood's win.[27] Present Her latest album, a collection entitled The Hits In 2007, Hill started work on her first domestic greatest hits package, titled The Hits, which was released on October 2. The Hits features two new songs, "Lost" and "Red Umbrella" (the current single), plus a live version of the song "Stronger," taken from the Soul2Soul 2007 tour. The album also features hits covering her entire career from 1993-2005. Included with The Hits is a DVD of 11 of Hill's music videos. Hill will be heard on Aretha Franklin's upcoming album A Woman Falling Out of Love, planned to be released later this year. She also recorded a duet called "Sleeping with the Telephone" for Reba McEntire's Duets album, released on September 18 2007. Hill is also featured on husband Tim McGraw's new album Let It Go. She sings two duets with him, "I Need You" and "Shotgun Rider". Both songs were sung at the couple's critically acclaimed Soul2Soul II Tour 2006. She and Tim recently did an encore of their Soul2Soul II Tour; Soul2Soul 2007 began in June and ran through August. Hill was recently asked to sing the theme for Sunday Night Football that airs on the NBC network. The song is called "Waiting All Week For Sunday Night". (Less)

However, all of the hype and propaganda about global (More) GLOBAL WARMING AND CLIMATE CHANGE - MOST SEVERE CONSEQUENCES AND BEST SOLUTIONS: Global warming "THREATENS" possible human extinction!! However, all of the hype and propaganda about global climate change - which is quite possibly inevitable and due to changes in the Sun and the Earth's water vapor system - also threatens the development of all third world nations - where majority of unnecessary suffering occurs. These topics are rarely broadcasted to people!! I studied systems engineering and finance at the "Ivy League" University of Pennsylvania. I took a seminar - in 1997!! - with dozens of visiting world renowned EXPERT lecturers that CONVINCED me that global warming "THREATENS" to eventually decimate or annihilate the current human population!!! (Oddly enough, I wouldn't mind if - and have indeed already resigned myself to the fact that - other species will be given back some ecosystem to thrive!) It is a long and complicated explanation but briefly: only a small fraction of the current population of 6 billion will be able to survive on the fresh water and arable land available on Earth when it (eventually, some day) irrevocably switches from an ICE AGE dynamic equilibrium to an ARID AGE steady state! Can we stop it? and how quickly will the change occur (dozens, hundreds or thousands of years)? are the only real questions in my mind at this point!!!! Questions?? EXTREME ENVIRONMENTAL changes on Earth constantly and CONSISTENTLY cause: 1. extremely rapid - a few months to a few decades - dominant species extinction followed by 2. nearly as rapid alternative species "blooming" (exploding diversity) This is THE ONLY consistent, long term biological process that occurs on Earth: No one species has EVER dominated Earth for long due to hitherto unpredictable and uncontrollable CATASTROPHIC ecosystem changes (moderate ice age to EXTREME arid age is merely one of many - and it usually takes some time...but why risk speeding this up?...) Just recently the scientific world announced that - according to current verifiable data - 30% - 40% of known species may be extinct by 2050 - due mainly to climate change! All debate is reasonable. However, is it reasonable to continue doing something - not utterly necessary for our current or future survival - that "debatable" scientific evidence clearly shows MAY some "debatable" day MERCILESSLY PLAGUE or perhaps even END our species prematurely?!? Because that is exactly what nature has always intended and ALWAYS done! Test and improve the Earth's many genetic codes' SURVIVAL ABILITY!! I audited PENN's bi-weekly SYSTEMS ENGINEERING seminar of various international scientific experts back in 1997! The whole story only came together after over 20 world renowned experts - from diverse disciplines - had extensively weighed in on multifarious and extremely complex scientific topics. I was CONVINCED of a real and absurdly extreme and "immediate" THREAT to humanity - worse than any other I have studied (entropy, plague, viruses, asteroids, orbital/solar system change, peak oil, war (nukes in Asia?), premature, "Frankenstein-like", scientific advancement (genetic engineered weapons!)...notice how terrorism is not worth mention - it doesn't even register as a threat to our species!) - with a real but uncertain probability: Why throw dice unnecessarily?? WHAT WE SHOULD DO: 1. Develop better climate prediction technology - including early waring systems for the most likely catastrophic climate scenarios (collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, rapid loss of the Greenland Ice Sheet, large-scale changes in ocean circulation systems...) 2. Develop technologies to improve the energy-conversion efficiency of coal-fired Chinese power plants (these will produce the lion's share of CO2 over the next century). 3. Develop technology: alternative energy, energy conservation and efficiency, "decarbonizing" technology. 4. Plant trees, use reflective paint, buttress buildings better, develop crops that grow better in warmer climates, rethink zoning codes for coastal areas. 5. Promote more energy efficient habits and lifestyles through education and monetary and social incentives (EVERYONE SHOULD WORK ON THIS). Live only where you can WALK or BIKE to almost every daily activity, shun activities that use energy sources, prefer more natural (outdoor?) social activities (lights at night are unnatural and actually stressful to you and cause you to produce less melatonin, increasing your cancer risk! Libraries are better - more accurate, useful and healthier - sources of information than the internet!) http://www.MySpace.com/JamesGraff http://www.GarageBand.com/artist/Jame... http://www.JamesGraff.com I made a home made video: "She's My Whole World" written in 1985, produced, engineered, photographed, edited, sang and performed entirely by James Graff. (Pictures are of Liina Kairo - in no particular order - pretty amazing how the photos and audio seem to serendipitously fall into place!!) "If you were to dedicate your life to easing suffering on earth - now and into the future - how would you do it? What would you do?" (Work/play ONLY for charity?) sang, played all the instrument, recorded and produced this song on four track cassette as a DEMO in my MOM'S LAUNDY ROOM!!! The song was partially inspired by the Police song "Every Breath You Take" which I pay homage to with the line: "...and every breath I take..." I hope that every one catches the allegory/analogy and the moral "to the story": it's a song about a girl who is my "whole world" but on the second most obvious level it's also about our world the planet earth - better treat "her" right!!! Date Created 1985 Lyrics Lyrics for "She's My Hole World" (Copyright 1985) She's so beautiful, Done up in green and blue In such a Godly way, I can't keep away And she's last and first, In quenching all my thirsts She's gives me streams and lakes, and every breath I take She's My Whole World She's not just my girl, She's My Whole World She's not just my girl, She's My Whole World And I'd do anything, Just to keep her hole 'Cus all my night time warmth, comes from deep within her soul The analogy goes on, but not in just one song, She's My Whole World I wish you all only knew the way she makes me think that it's nothin' new that we're on the brink Our next generation's becoming extinct It's time we renewed our pact don't you think She's not just my girl, She's My Whole World She's not just my girl, She's My Whole World And such a pretty face, No other could replace She's every thing I feel, without her nothing's real The analogy goes on, But not in just one song She's My Whole World When you and I aren't here, the stratosphere disappears And when you're not by my side Armegeddon gets in my eyes And when we fight nuclear bombs ignite Such a fright...site...bright...white... She's my only world...

Ending Credits Song: Innocence - Avril Lavigne
This is a Usagi & Mamoru R Season breakup AMV. It's entirely from Mamoru's point of view and deals with the pain he felt during the breakup and his struggle to keep the dream a secret.
I know this song was really meant to be about wanting to confess love to somebody and not being able to, but when I heard it, I thought it'd also fit the breakup scenario because in this case, it's because Mamoru is not confessing the real reason he's staying away from Usagi that they're broken up.
The AMV was made entirely from Sailor Moon R Season clips. I do have both the subbed and dubbed versions of those episodes, so any subtitles you see are meant to be there. They contribute to the meaning behind the lyrics, but if you're used to ignoring subtitles on AMV's, it won't really affect your understanding of the AMV at all. I didn't include the scene where Usagi & Mamoru get back together because the song itself doesn't really end happily. However, I did make the ending credits AMV a happy one so I hope you guys won't feel too sad after watching this. ^^;
This video took me about 5 entire days (meaning I basically slept, ate, and worked on this) to make. Of course, I didn't spend 5 consecutive days on this, but it was still a very long process. This is probably the AMV that I've spent the longest time making so far. For one, the clips needed a lot of editing to get the timing just right, unlike my other AMV's, where the clips seemed to just fall into place nicely. I also made a couple of split-screen scenes, which are rather complicated to do on Ulead 11.
I hope you guys enjoy this! Please rate & comment! Thanks for watching! ^_^

By the way, my apologies to Gary Brolsma (a big sexy teddy in his own right!) for forgetting the name of his video, and the band who's song he featured, "Dragostea din tei" by Moldovan pop band O-Zone. I was working on less than 3 hours of sleep and am not sure I was truly wide awake for the show. :D
We forgot to play the 2 songs externally but thats been fixed in Clip 3.
The banter between me and my ex is a little harsh at times but its all in good fun, trust me, we've said worse to each other lol, and we are very close for sure. I think Larry did a GRRREAT job, I really was a surprise last minute guest, I came on the show at the last minute with no preparation, yet he had questions ready and did a great job to interview me impartially. Kudos!
p.s. Larry picks the topics for discussion and I really didn't know we'd be chatting about youtube, we'd only talked about it briefly before and I've hosted the show dozens of times. (Less)

It actually implements the API that Windows implements to allow applications to use Windows services. In Wine, however the services are implemented in Linux and Wine just translates the API calls from the programs running in wine to calls to its own code, and is even able to use existing Windows libraries to make certain programs, such as Textaloud, work in Wine.
TextAloud is a popular speech synthesizer, useful for reading web content and text files. To get it on Wine, what I did basically was install Textaloud's installer (downloadable from the "NextUp" website). I had to instal a MSI package installer (via Wine-Doors installer), then I was able to install several of the free voice packages available on the "NextUp" website., One of those packages contain my favorite voice "Eddie", which is one of the best speech synthesizer packs I've found that can fluidly convert any text into understandable speech.. Most speech conversion, even the modern stuff, uses huge wave tables, like 600 megs, and don't sound nearly as fluid as the basic "Eddie" voice.
The advantage of using TextAloud over other speech synthesizers is that it offers a firefox plugin that will permit textaloud to read content for you from any web page, and either speek it out or save it to a mp3 file.
I use it so often when I don't want to read a page, that I was grasping for it when it wasn't available. So I determined that I had to get it working in Linux.
I found a tutorial on getting Ventrillo to work on Wine, by searching for "sapi wine" in google. I followed the same tutorial that only specified some files to download and some things to install.. I then tried the textaloud program again and it passed through and got me to the interface. But it was giving me OLE errors if I tried to get it to read anything.
Fiddling with a bit, I found out that the SAPI 4 voice will work, but not the SAPI 5. Big deall.. All I want is to use the Eddie voice to read pages.. I purchased a "English" SAPI 5 voice from one of the vendors through them, it was about 40 dollars, and given I had already configured Eddie to read text files it was tough to get the "Queens English" speaker to say the same things as fluidly.
Textaloud has a feature for fixing pronunciation, you can either replace a strange sounding work with a phonetically hacked word, or you can use a regular expression to extract useful information from patterns and turn it into something the voice can more easily process. Like I have a regex pattern that takes words with different case letters (without spaces) and breaks them up into individual words with spaces. In some cases where the translator comes across a unit of measure like inches, I can have it search for patterns like a number followed by "in." and have that translate "in." to "inches" for that special case.
The beauty of getting Windows programs to work in Wine, given that Wine stores windows application installs within the user's home directory, and not in the system directories, to replicate an entire install of Windows applications only requires copying that directory. This could look like pirating, but believe me, if you paid for the applications you should be able to backup your install for indefinate use. Microsoft and other companies are really not interested in people buying applications for indefinate use, that means that people will likely never pay for any future releases of the tool. To stimulate people into repurchasing applications, Microsoft releases a new operating system every 2-4 years whether it is needed or not. The direct result is a mass repurchase of software, that makes everyone and Microsoft richer. But makes consumers as a result poorer. The future of applications is to rent applications, and is what Microsoft has tried to do for a long time. We may not be able to rely on google if this fits into their business plan. I think it's rather safe just to use linux as nothing can really go away on linux.
Wine certainly won't go away, and will just continue to mimic everything in windows to the point that purchasing Windows won't be required to use Windows software.. That sounds bad, but if you've considered how long Microsoft made consumers wait for technologies that were readily available 10 years ago on other platforms, it's much deserved.
For example, while in Windows 98, users were forced to work with IRQ settings and DMA addressing, Amiga users were up and working with multimedia rich content and were not required to mess with dip switches or such.. Microsoft is only getting around to realizing something like the Amiga's in a internal OS their are coining as "Singularity".. To me it only seems like Java running on an Amiga, without and MMU. Once again Microsoft delivers yesterdays technology today. (Less)

The feedback received from these prisoners has been overwhelming:
"I tell myself each day that I am happy and excited. I am enjoying the process and radiating love to all around me. I have become stronger and more inspired with each session and give my thanks to those who made it possible through this course... My wisest choice is to use my suffering as an opportunity to discover the very best of who I am and find the gifts in it. To my astonishment I found myself an eager student of life." (D.T. Williams)
SmilingOne is training 14 inmates in section 6 - the Group of Hope (GOH) - and 5 Wardens. The awareness process focuses on building trust in Self, creating meaning, adding value and developing an understanding of how to walk the path of life responsibly.
SmilingOne is looking for funding from generous sponsors - enabling us to take the Responsible Rehabilitation Programme to further prisons throughout South Africa.

(More) Matud Nila - In 1941, at the outbreak of the second World War, a guerilla fighter from Cebu in central Philippines named Ben Zubiri composed the song Matud Nila ("They Say" in English). Pilita Corrales born also in Cebu was only two years old then, a mestiza, (of Spanish and Austronesian) ancestry. It was Pilita's impeccable rendition of the song in the 1960's that made it so popular and labeled by some as the cultural anthem of the Cebuanos. The Tagalog version of the song is titled "Ikaw Lamang" (..Kalungkutan sa unang pag-ibig). She demonstrated her range as a gifted performer of Spanish, English, Cebuano and Tagalog music. In 1958, Pilita began her recording career in Melbourne, Australia and holds the distinction of being the first female artist to top the Australian pop music charts long before Helen Reddy, Olivia Newton John and Kylie Minogue. Subsequently, her reputation grew and during her international stints, she has performed with internationally acclaimed artists like Sammy Davis Jr., the Beatles, Bob Hope, Pat Boone, Frank Sinatra and Julie Andrews. She also holds the distinction of being the first Filipino to win in an international music festival by bagging the Best Performer Award during the 1st Tokyo Music Festival (1972) where she bested numerous international artists including the highly-regarded Olivia Newton John. In the Philippines, she still enjoys a reputation as "singing icon and living legend."
Back to "Matud Nila": In a country that speaks eleven major languages and some eighty-seven dialects, an attempt to translate successfully from the original native language requires not only an operational knowledge of the original language but also a familiarity of, or a complete immersion in, the culture of the people whose language is being translated. A caution is therefore offered here that in the process of translating the Visayan Lyrics into English, the original flavor of the original work and the sensations they evoke in its original eloquence may be lost. I am a registered nurse. I wrote the song in the hope that it might spark people to look at and express their smoking stories in new and creative ways, using any kind of art form they are personally drawn to, whether it be music, writing, visual arts, drama, comedy, dance, etc. I like to think that the process of looking at and telling a story has potential to lead us humans in new directions.
The music video is a collaborative project between myself and the group members, with the small required budget provided by my employer, The Vancouver Island Health Authority. The song was inspired by the poignant smoking stories I hear every week from people who are often angry with themselves for smoking. Approximately 80% of people living with schizophrenia smoke, and people living with mental illnesses in general tend to smoke at almost double the rate of the general population, so these people are disproportionately impacted by the negative consequences (physical, financial, emotional, and social) of smoking. I myself smoked heavily from the ages of 12 to 31, so I know the addiction well. Quitting smoking was one of the most difficult but most self affirming things I have ever done, and I hope this song and video will be helpful to other people. (Less)
