Possibly the most unbearable of all tasks alongside the Crystal Cave, in order to get through the Kabuto Cave, you must find a battery for the news reporters. Now, can any of you remember the last time we were dealing with something running on battery power? That's right, the lair of Cassidy & Butch, the battery is still in that machine!
However, many people, like me, have suffered a glitch that makes the game think that the battery has already been taken, so it will be impossible to retrieve it.
If you'd like to resort to using Gameshark codes to get the battery, then apparently 82025C98 00119 works just fine, but you need to deposit & withdraw the item before you can use it. Thanks to youtuber SergeantFlynnTaggart for this code. (Less) Channel: youtube

Instructions:
1. Log on to the Nintendo WFC.
2. Select to deposit the Pokémon that you want to clone.
3. Choose a bogus deal for your wanted Pokémon, i.e. a level 100 Abra.
4. When the "Checking GTS Status" box comes up, pay attention to the little clock in the bottom right hand corner.
5. When the clock has gone around 6 to 8.5 times, shut your DS off. There is no surefire way of knowing when to turn it off; just keep trying until you succeed.
6. Turn your DS back on. A box will come up saying that your save file is corrupted. DON'T WORRY! This is completely normal.
7. Load up your game and log in to the WFC again. If you did this glitch right, your Pokémon will be both on your game and in the WFC!
8. Retrieve your Pokémon from the WFC. Voila! You now have two identical clones of your Pokémon!

As soon as you press "End", quickly pull the left side of the cartridge out (but just far enough so the sound become distorted). Once it is done saving, push the left side of the cartridge back in and start the game. There are two things that will indicate that you have done it right: 1) After the blurb at the beginning that talks about Link's history in Hyrule, a white screen appears. If you can see a blank "B" icon and an "A" icon that says "Next", you have done a crooked cartridge trick. Not necessarily the one we're looking for, but you've done one of them. And 2) If, when you see Link, he has a shield but no sword. If both of the above are true then you have done the trick correctly. Here are a list of things that will be different from normal gameplay while this is in effect: - You can see all of the map on the Start Menu as soon as you start the game - The hearts, magic meter, C-buttons, etc. will be gone most of the time during normal gameplay - C-buttons will be disabled while this trick is effect - At the part where Tatl says she wants to join you, there is a chance that she won't (Unfortunately, in my video, she did join me -_-) - While flying as a Deku Scrub, there will be a glitched symbol on "B" instead of Deku Nuts. - All chests will already be open. Again, this has a higher chance of happening if you didn't get Tatl. - All of the games will kick you out (excluding Honey and Darling) if you don't have enough money to play OR if it's the Shooting Gallery. - All of the Deku Scrubs from the trading sequence are switched around. Since there is a Deku Scrub in the Deku flower in Clock Town, you can not reach the clock tower at midnight, meaning the moon WILL crash into Termina. - You will not find the stray fairy around Clock Town. However, when you go to the fairy's fountain, you will find that it is already with you. When you get magic power it will be flashing blue and you will have infinite magic - The code for the Bombers' Hideout is "/////". However, when you go to the hideout, it will probably already be open. When you get to the telescope guy, he will not let you look through the telescope - When you go to the bank, you will have ///// rupees. Trying to deposit rupees will make him tell you that the bank is full. Withdrawing rupees will get you stuck on a screen that lets you change letters around but, unfortunately you have to reset - When the Goron goes up to Anju to get his key to his room, he will disappear because Anju is in her room hugging her invisible boyfriend - If Tatl didn't join you, the rock blocking Romani Ranch will be gone no matter what day. If you wait 'till night of the 2nd day, the game will freeze showing a shot of you on Cremia's milk cart. If you walk in Romani Ranch on night of the 2nd day, the cinema will start immediately. When you have to keep the milk bottles from being broken, you can shoot arrows out of Deku Link's mouth. At the end of the track, you will fall through the ground in a never-ending cinema - If you wait for the moon to crash, you will reappear in front of the Happy Mask Salesman as normal Link without the Deku Mask - On any night, the postman will be waiting by the East Clock Town gate. If you talk to him, he will give you the Postman's Hat - The big guy in the Mountain Smithy will be banging on the Razor Sword (but, for some reason, he wasn't in my video). Come back the next day and he will give you the Gilded sword. Sometimes it will appear on the "B" button, but other times it will not. If it does, you can activate owl statues and save at them. it was still protected by a buyers protection programm (the one where the seller has deposited the money with an ebay account). i bought it with the "buy now" function, but today the auction is still runnung up (without the buynow option) and the buyers protection has been removed.
