Ridge offers to take her to dinner, leading Brooke to joke that he only wants to get information about the Forrester show stopper. When he says that's at the bottom of his list of things to want, she suggests moving to the top of the list, which should be finding a spot for the show. Ridge thinks that should be no problem in a beautiful city like this and points out the pier that they're at. Brooke admits it's perfect, and they both wonder why they didn't see it before. Ridge tells Brooke that he is thankful for her taking him out of the lowest point in his life and bringing him here. Brooke is glad that he let her, but he says he didn't have to, since it just took on a life of its own. Like it always does, Brooke says. Brooke goes to take a shower. When she comes back into the room, wearing a robe and drying her hair, she spots a bouquet of flowers without a card. She guesses they are from Ridge and calls to thank him for sending those at just the right time. Ridge however says he didn't send them. When Brooke says there was no card, Ridge wonders if Brooke has a secret admirer. More likely, Brooke says, it was the hotel. Not wanting to keep Ridge, they bid each other good night. After she hangs up the phone, she smells the flowers and walks over to check on Hope, and she's shocked when she sees Hope isn't in her crib! A frantic Brooke cries out for her baby -- and just then, Deacon appears, holding Hope in his arms. He says, "Hey, baby. Ah, man -- you look great." Brooke has a horrified look on her face as Deacon asks if he scared her. Ridge wonders what's wrong with Brooke, not knowing Deacon is hiding behind him. In her room at the Splendido, Brooke panics as Ridge calls out for her to let him in. Go ahead, Deacon tells her, open the door and let lover boy in. A frantic Brooke tells Deacon that Ridge can't see him here, so Deacon agrees to step out on the balcony. Once Deacon is out of sight, Brooke grabs her towel, starts wiping her hair and opens the door. As Ridge asks what kept her, she says she must have not heard him since she was in the shower. Ridge says he thought he heard voices, so Brooke lies that it must have been the radio and asks Ridge what brings him by. He explains that he wanted her opinion on how some accessories work with one of his outfits for the show. Before he can even show her anything, Brooke says that she's the competition and tries to rush him out. Ridge senses that something is wrong and asks Brooke what's going on. And why is she whispering, he wonders? As Brooke looks past Ridge at Deacon, poking his head out slightly from the balcony, she tells Ridge that Hope is sleeping. Ridge hopes he didn't wake the baby and suggests that maybe he should be going. He asks one more time if everything is OK, and she assures him she's fine as she leads him to the door. He and Brooke wish each other luck tomorrow, with Ridge adding with a smile that Brooke is going to need in as he leaves. (Less)
