I have actually been planing this one for a while. I had rough ideas for the longest but nothing really solid or concrete. all i knew is that I wanted a savers vid with the Digimon Next Manga to parallel it. Mainly because SAVERS and NEXT go hand and hand as far as the main digimon go. So basically i wanted a vid that had a manga-ish feel to it. but their was one tiny problem. All i knew how to use at the time was windows movie maker... SO yeah I scraped that idea. SO i finally figured out how to use sony vegas and i wanted to try something like the idea i previously had only to find that someone by the name of shinnie04 released a Vid similar to the one i had in mind but only with *shudders* Naruto... *sighs* So i was very If-y about doing this vid mainly because i want to be original with my work. Until finally a day came were i literally said to my-self "SCREW THAT, IF I HAD THE IDEA, I JUST HAD THE IDEA... REGARDLESS IF SOMEONE BEAT ME TO IT OR NOT." So yeah i got completely motivated to do this tho i completely forgot the song that was originally SUPPOSED to go with this SO i just chose this one. I've noticed during my past releases of FAN OPs in Japanese Many ppl have been begging 4 subs. So I tried my best to sub this. It's My First time subbing so i'm pretty sure it's full of errors... -_-" ANd yes I do see Many errors in the vid it's self. Panning/timing issues etc... I REALLY did NOT feel like re-rendering it tonight I AM TIRED... And once again Yotube DESTROYS the quality... I have FINALLY advanced from Windows movie (More) [06/16/2007]YESSSS!!!! MY 1ST EVER HONOR: #44 - Most Discussed (Today) - Entertainment - ALL Yet another Mini opening *sigh*. BUT this time an UPGRADE. I have FINALLY advanced from Windows movie maker!!! YESSSS. anyways I'm new to Vegas so this vid may no be all that great (I'll let u b the judge ^^) But I'm proud of the way it came out. Finally I've advanced. I'm so happy. Anyways this vid is just a test subject. Just testing stuff and playing around in vegas to what all it can do and to get the feel of the work flow! Some parts I LOVE in this vid and others I don't. I REALLY love how the title part came out 00:23 - 00:29 that part took me the longest to do. 00:24- 42 I did in photoshop. And used vegas to throw clips over it. I think my favorite is the BanchouLeomon one. If you look it has him and surugu appear in the background 00:43 - 00:45 I absolutely HATE. It looks too choppy but I'm still getting used to the fade effects. 00:55-1:04 ain't come out as well as planed but still OK The rest is ok I guess. I wanted it to somewhat come out better and different than the actual Pokemon Battle frontier theme so I used the movie version of the theme and clipped it in some spots to shorten the clip. I like the way this turned out actually. I put a little more thought and effort into this one than i did Digimon Spurt. Again the same drill as with digimon unite (b4 it got pulled for "copyright infringement") I used the credits i photoshoped out of Gouing going My soul (1st savers op) and placed them along w/ borders in the theme Using macromedia Flash 8 professional. While scrolling through youtube I notice alot of fan-made trailers. That are just clips slaped over premade audio. wich is fine, if thats what you like to do then that's your own style, but to be honest i'm growing quite annoyed with them especally ones that are baddly synced. SO I wanted to construct one from pure scratch. Now their are plenty of reasons I was inspired to make this *I've been wanting to do something 02 for a while now. * Many US ppl are under the WRONG impresion that digimon only had ONE real movie (In wich they would be refering to the horriable "DIGIMON THE MOVIE" release) * I keep running into the 11th pokemon movie trailer -_-" * Many People don't even know how changed and CUT up the US version of this was to the original JP version But seriously ppl, This is a very good movie! Yes, Yes, I will be the 1st to say that the battle music is boring as heck. It will make you... A. Fall to sleep and then into a coma -or- B. Rip your ears out I think I did All of the above happened to me X_@ But really it's a pretty good movie, GOod dailoug, good fight scenes, good animation etc. Not all the music is bad. Through out the movie you get to here western style "blues" type music! Which is Pwnage in my book! The harmonica is my all time favorite instrament. I really encourage yall to watch this version! In my honest opinion it is the best of the digimon movies. The U.S. version was cut according to an interveiw with jeff nimoly becsue he thought "the whole movie draged on and was boring." -__-" Really, Now? What the heck. If you ask me I think they cut it because digimon was aimed at a youger age group here in the US. and of course this Movie has depth to it and hyperactive 5-8 yr olds would not have the patecents to sit through it all. And we all know soccer Moms would have had a feild day on how "voilent" it is. Heck they already complain about the how "Voilent" the US release was *SIGHS* Now don't get me wrong, I'm not flaming the dub completly. The dub did have it's advantages! And had ALL the potentioal in the world to somehow be equal to or surpass the original JP verson. Only if they would have left the footage and story alone and uncut. The music in the dub was excellent along wih the voice talents. but it seems so wasted on a such a cut film. If they would have just left it as is i actually for ONCE in my life enjoyed a dubb over a sub.
