Well I've done LV1 no damages against Terra with looping. But no video of what Terra is REALLY like when you don't loop him. I have to admit, I let him attack me a few times, to spice it up, because when I tried not doing that he just kept looping his attacks...somehow, without me doing the loop trick.
Anyway, this is 9 minutes of an epic fight. There were numerous times where I should have died. I tried a few different things for fun, especially in the last part, like trying to dodge his DM another way (didn't go too well). But this video is a PERFECT example of why NO ONE is ever going to not loop him at LV1.
Since I have no save file of LV99, I used a code to get to level 99 with stats around 80. But it's not like you couldn't do that without codes anyway, it's just more time consuming. But it was also a good time to get my CB CD working again, since it randomly stopped loading on me for like 2 weeks. Regardless, hope you enjoy the video.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.
Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.
Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.
Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.
Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?
A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. I got the Swap Magic 3.6 + Slide Card deal at thegiantstore.com. I also bought KH2FM at play-asia.com
Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.

So what happens when you throw in my favorite Org member to fight with the hardest enemy in the game? You get an awesome chaotic and fun battle. I enjoy this one more than (and it came out much better) Terra & Sephiroth. Of course, I died. But IT WAS SO CLOSE IT SHOULD COUNT AS WINNING. Marluxia is rigged I tell you. Decides to go into a DM right on the finishing blow when I just so happened to run out of Elixers as they BOTH go into DMs at the same time.
Anyway, this fight made me realize something about the Second Chance + Once More ability and Marluxia. This might not come in handy if you're not hacking in other bosses, but if you are, it seems Marluxia's Sycth attacks can re-instate the Second Chance ability if you are already at 1 HP, since we all know his Scyth doesn't damage you. It happened to me twice in the video where I should have died, but Marluxia smacked me up into the air and Terra's attacks didn't finish me off. Rather interesting, I'd say.
As for the fight itself, it's easily possible. I went after both of them to spice it up, if you just went after Marluxia, this would be a cake walk with Trinity Limit or whatever. But dear god, don't do what I did and put them both into DMs. They seem to like doing it at the SAME TIME no matter what you do. So eventually I ran out of Elixers and that was that. Although the last 30 seconds were surprising that I dodged all that with 1 HP. It's a shame Limit Form won't work here or I'd have definitely won easily. Driving would save Elixers. Either way as fun as this is I'm not recording another attempt, this one is as cool as they'll get on a serious attempt.
Oh yes, one last thing about the fight. Terra HAS to not start off with the Key Cannon move. If he does that, you won't survive the Doom curse, because first hit sends you right to 1 HP and Sora won't move, so the next hit from Terra will kill you. Of course, getting hit with a Seal move isn't that great either, but you CAN survive it if you act fast. Most the other starting moves you can work with too.
I felt like doing two songs again. The first one is Shudder from Einhander. Quite a weird song, but still kickass. The second is Bloody Tears from...Well castlevania obviously, but I personally am not sure, it's from one of the special CDs Konami did. Kickass song either way.
