However, this is incredibly naive thinking on my part because I'm not taking into consideration the most insidious factor -- denial. Like any form of abuse, whether it's drug abuse or child abuse, denial is high because the abusers don't want to admit to this addiction on any psychological level, which can potentially make them very dangerous. Denial is also contagious due to codependency, which is why many look the other way, including the victim. Thank you littleloca for giving this wrat a voice, to use in any way possible to help prevent this from happening to others in the future.
