I am reiterating this warning, because, basically, an anonymous person came to me with a lot of information about some spooky stuff that fit very well with my previous warning to n00bs. We have to be aware of who we give information to. One reason for this is datamining. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datamining The FBI and CIA are really cool about using this, there was a great article last year about how this works, and what some of the flaws of it are. It's not a perfect way to generate a list of 'suspected terrorists' but it's the only way that people have. So, the most important thing that you as a free citizen can do is keep your name off of the Terrorist list. Out of databases that can be mined. This comes down to websites that you belong to. It's beyond scope for the private government organizations to set up community sites of interest to people with less that perfect morals. Is this entrapment? I wouldn't think so, but I believe you all have heard the rumour that Facebook is run by the CIA as a way to keep track of people. It's quite a brilliant idea, because people are so willing to share their information to make friends. So, what is there to say that if the CIA has a hand in this (believable or not) that they don't also have community sites for 'satanists' 'terrorist' 'anarchist' 'communists' 'pedophiles' or any number of sad sick and twisted things? Any place that you go to get 'secret information' is probably not a go in the first place. I'm not telling you to do bad things, far from it, I don't want to see bad things happening in the world, but I would like to see you do things that make the world better, and whatever they may be, just don't get caught and ruin your name. No, some people are telling me that they feel intimidated by the Co$ or other groups who use 'secret knowledge' to intimidate people. Anonymous was famous for this for a while. Their little attacks on Gaydiamond got Mr Fetch all up in tuff, but, who cares. the thing is, part of our culture is to intimidate people with false threats. Part of that is suggesting things that are nebulous. This is dangerous, because our minds are really good at generating personal fear. If someone says, "I know who you are and where you live." you say, "Prove it." If they 'prove it' then you say, "Well, thank you very much, and if I ever see you at my door, you had better believe I'll use this as evidence of a threat when I call the police." Fight intimidation with fairness. that's what you have to do. That's your only power, as a citizen. but remember that a lot of this is fronting, it's just lies. when you get a call from a lawyer, you get a lawyer, when you get a call from a stranger, you get 'stranger' yourself. I once had a debt collector call me up, and ask me to call my father. I said, "you want money from my father, you talk to him yourself." The debt collector called me back later, scared out of his mind, afraid that my father was going to hurt him. My father didn't make a threat, far from it, he asked specific questions, which intimidated the man's security. "Who do you work for?" "What is the Address?" "What is the phone number?" "what is your name?" "Who is your boss?" "What is this about?" etc.... Being serious about what you are doing is the only way to get things done, and sometimes it scares the pants off of people.
