Musick Loss Management has been in business since 2001 and has received 0 complaints to the Better Business Bureau.In 2004 a client filed a false claim on Rip Off Report. MLM consistently goes to great lengths to resolve any issue a client might have. They have policies and procedures in place to ensure excellence in customer service! Rip Off Report.com has a policy against taking down any post. The only option is to join the Ripoff Report's own Corporate Advocacy Program where the business owner must accept responsibility, reimburse the customer and pay Rip Off an unknown but supposedly steep fee. Doesn't this seem like extortion? It's also no coincidence that the guy who owns Rip Off also owns a company that sells products to help businesses with their online reputation. Did I mention that this guy (Ed Magedson) is a criminal (theft) and has lawsuits pending that he most likely won't show up to as he has done in the past? I am all for holding businesses accountable for their actions but Rip Off doesn't investigate the complaints (unless you pay them) or attempt to give the accused a real chance to respond. Rip off is such an authoritative site with over 300K backlinks. One bad comment will rank #1 on a Google search for a given company especially if the company doesn't have a strong web presence. Rip Off is such a bully and the businesses that suffer most are small and midsized ones. Mark Musick is an upstanding citizen and a really nice guy. He started off as a tradesman and has gone on to build a very successful property loss adjustment and restoration business. He gets most of his business through word of mouth because clients really trust appreciate Mark and his staff. It is heartbreaking to see all of his hard work and client relationships trashed by 1 bad review. Does anyone have any thoughts on cyber extortion and reputation management?
