Musicians are having a hard time flying with their instrument. 2. Not every road gig is like a Rolling Stones Tour, with all the luxuries:)! 3. Losing one's instrument is unthinkable, yet a realistic possibility for musicians! 4. Music instruments are not like cars, where if you crash one, they'll give you a new one! To musicians, their instruments are like limbs, who wants to lose one? It takes years to find the right sax, or a guitar, or a trumpet! No 2 instruments are alike, and one can't just rent it, like a car! 5. If an instrument is lost, stolen or damaged, a musician can't perform, and thus won't get paid! The whole band, orchestra, group performance suffers as a result. The public gets cheated, cause they are getting less than a performance they have paid for! 6. The airlines are not always sensitive to musicians' Special Needs! Instead of seeking a dialog, it's often a confrontation! 7. Most music instruments can fit comfortably in an overhead compartment on most planes. With good will and flexibility, these issues could be worked out, but not always! Musicians are forced to buy an extra seat, and then their saxophone still goes into the same overhead compartment! So why was the musician charged for the extra seat? The answer is obvious — GREED!!! 8. Musicians, like most people, can't afford the luxury services mentioned in this video! 9. You don't have to be a full time musicians to have your guitar stolen, damaged, or lost. If it's yours, or your child's etc., it would hurt no less! 10. Musicians, like most people, can't afford the luxury services mentioned in this video! This video will be edited when I have spare time — work in progress!
