Jin: Now that we got your names out of the way, let's try the name of your group. They both looked at him. Kula: We can't tell you that. Hiel: You'll have to join us. Jin: Screw that. I'm not joining anything. They scoffed simultaneously. Hiel: We hope you'll change your mind in the future. Hiel summoned a blast of mist around Jin. He covered his face and waited until it faded. When it did, they were gone. He dusted the snow off of himself and started back to Minis' home. As he opened the front door, he found Minis sitting at the table. Minis: And just where were you? Jin: I was out for a walk. A pair of girls tried to kill me, but I think I scared them off. Minis: What did they look like? Jin gave as detailed of a description as he possibly could. He emphasized on their powers and outfits. Minis: Those are... Nevermind. So, are you ready? Jin: How soon can you send us there? Minis: Right away. I've been preparing the teleportation circle since last night. She yawned widely. Jin: Doesn't seem like you got much sleep, either. I'm sorry we're asking this of you. She waved her hand sleepily at him. Minis: It's okay. I'll just take a nap when you guys are done. Jin nodded and walked over to Kou and Shinji, who were both still asleep. He shook them both slowly on their shoulders. Jin: Come on, you two. You need to get ready. Kou yawned. Faster than he could see, Shinji's hand lunged at Jin and caught his throat, his grip tightening. Jin tried to pull himself free, but the grip remained. He heard Shinji mumble something before speaking. Shinji: Woah! Shinji let go of Jin's throat. He staggered back, coughing and massaging his neck. Jin: What the hell was that for?!? Shinji: How should I know?!? I woke up like that! Jin coughed. Jin: Anyway, we should probably eat something. We're going to invade the Secret Police's Tokyo headquarters, soon. Kou: *yawn* Good idea. Minis: Is there anything you might want? Kou: No, it's okay. We've got our own food. Kou walked over to one of the bags he had been carrying and pulled out a few food trays. He carried them over to Jin and Shinji. Jin took one, but Shinji didn't. Kou: Is something wrong, Shinji? Shinji: I'm just... not very hungry, right now. Jin: You should probably still eat. Shinji: No, I think I'll be alright... Jin shrugged. As Jin and Kou ate, Jin began to speak to Shinji. Jin: So, Shinji. You mind telling us why you look like that? He pointed at him. Shinji looked at his hands. Shinji: I... don't know... why I'm like this... I... woke up like this... Jin: With all the weird stuff that's been going on, I suppose it isn't a coincidence. He examined him carefully. Jin: Where did you learn to fight like that? Shinji: I was a pilot to the Eva. At least, that's what I was doing before... Now, I guess I -am- the Eva... Jin: Wait... He held up his hand as if to halt him. Jin: You -piloted- that thing you're wearing? Shinji: Well, yeah. But it was a lot bigger. Jin closed his eyes and nodded. He opened them again. Jin: And that thing we fought. You called it an "Angel." What are those supposed to be? Shinji: I've never been sure about that, myself. All I know is that they are the enemy. Jin: The "enemy?" Shinji nodded. Jin sighed. Jin: Well, if they mean us harm, then I suppose you can add them to the list. I've been making enemies since the other day. It's all because of those worm demons. Death's been going around spreading rumors and false information, claiming that I'm the one who's causing all of this. Shinji: Oh. I'm sorry. Jin: Don't be. I helped him bring them into our world. I wasn't thinking straight. Jin sighed. He finished his meal and looked at Kou. Kou finished, as well. He stood up. Jin: Okay. Let's go. Kou and Shinji stood up. They all looked at Minis. Jin: We're ready. Minis: Okay. Go outside. There should be a magic circle around the house. You can't miss it. I'll leave it open until you guys get back. Jin nodded. He turned back to Kou and Shinji. He waved his hand towards the front door. They opened it, and went around the house. They found a large, intricate, glowing circle in the grass. Jin breathed in deeply before stepping into it. Jin closed his eyes, and light surrounded him. When Jin opened his eyes, again, he heard talking. He looked around. He was now on top of a building, a crashed helicopter resting on it. He found where the noise was coming from: a pair of Secret Police officers. They looked at him. He heard a noise from behind him. Looking back, he found Kou and Shinji standing nearby. He looked back at the officers, who were coming towards them. Jin: Get ready, you two. They all braced themselves as the officers drew their weapons. --------------------- I know Shinji's not in this fight... but, oh well. I also know that more frames than normal were dropped than normal, but this fight was pretty annoying, so I didn't feel like doing it over and over again. Aaaand, I can't think of anything else to bring up, so, enjoy. (Less)

It's not big loss to us. Kou: What do you plan to do with my classmates?!? Man: That's none of your concern. Give my regards to Jin. If you see him, that is. The man then ran off. There would be no telling what they would do to his classmates, but Kou still needed to gather things. He hurried, now. He really needed to get Jin caught up on what's going on. --A few hours later-- Kou had everything they needed. Basic supplies and enough food to last for a few days. The sun had almost gone down. He was starting to wonder if Jin woke up or not. He set down the things he was carrying to pull out a small stone from his pocket. As he looked into it, he saw Jin, still asleep at the hotel. Kou: Looks like I'll have to wake him up, myself. As he reached down to pick up the things he had purchased, everything went dark. He heard a voice. ???: I'm surprised that a kid like you could have defeated Death. Then again, his strength lies only in his numbers and his immortality. Kou didn't say anything. He tried moving around, groping through the darkness, trying to find something. Finally, he could see, again. What he saw, though, he was not sure of. It looked almost like a temple. A horrid red light was shining in the area, which he found was coming from a massive, red moon. He heard the voice, again. This time, it was louder and more clear. ???: I will be your next challenger. He saw a pool of shadow begin to form on the ground. As it did, it grew upward until it shaped itself into a monstrous figure. It gazed at Kou with piercing red eyes. Blackheart: My name is Blackheart. Try to remember to call out that name as I crush your body into dust. --------------------- A few dropped frames... again. I made this yesterday and wanted to upload it, but the computer was being used pretty much all day by the rest of my family, and, for some reason, I only feel like doing things in the morning. Both collapsed onto the platform before slowing (More) Death: How can a simple mortal have the power to take me on? How?!? Jin threw a punch into one of the Deaths and sent it flying into the other. Both collapsed onto the platform before slowing regaining their hovering. Death: Pity that you would resist the urge to dominate, otherwise this battle would not have happened. Jin: I don't care about ruling over anything. Death: And that is why... Both Deaths flanked him. Death: ... you shall DIE!!! One threw his scythe at Jin's feet. Jin jumped into the air as the other swung his scythe to meet him. The scythe pierced Jin's chest and pinned him to the ground. Not a single noise came from him. Kou ran over to Jin's motionless body and began to shake him. Kou: Jin? ... Jin?!? ... JIIIIN! The scythe dematerilized and reappeared with its user. Tears began to form in Kou's eyes. Both Deaths let out a laugh and spoke. Death: That fool was blind to his own ambitions. He wished to be the first to obtain evidence of the Shar-Makai, and this ambition led him to deceive his students and bring about chaos into his own world. The tears still pouring from his eyes, Kou stood up and glared at the Deaths. Kou: You tricked Jin into it! Death: Ah, yes, but he was still a fool for believing in the power of one with no face with which to reveal himself. He was blind and a fool. Kou: Shut up! Kou pointed his shaking hand at the pair. Kou: He didn't do it become famous or wealthy! He only did it for the sake of the discovery! The Deaths laughed. Death: Is that what you wish to believe? Kou: That's what I -know- is to be true! Kou reassumed his stance. The pair began to close in on him. Death: And now, it is your turn to rest! --------------------- For the next four episodes, the story is going to branch off and follow three seperate characters. There's a few dropped frames in this, but I suppose it's still okay. I'm kinda feeling a little lazy right now, and I don't really feel like fighting the same match over and over trying to perfect it. At least not today. (Less)

(More) Jin and Kou exchanged furious punches and kicks, neither tiring, but both sustaining damage. Finally, Jin asked: Jin: How do you know... about what's going on? Kou: A man... showed me... He showed me... everything. Jin could already tell where this was going. Jin: I think I know... who you're talking about. Kou: Oh? And who is that? Jin: The man... He wore a large cloak, and you could not see his features... could you? Kou looked rather surprised. Kou: How did...? A voice answered. ???: It was all a part of my plan. They turned to find the cloaked figure floating in midair, somehow keeping pace with the train. Jin fixed his posture. Jin: I think it's finally time you told us who you are. He heard the man chuckle. As he spoke his next words, his voice began to split, as if more than one were coming from him at once. ???: I go by many names. In the end, I still represent the same thing. The eternal peace that all life shall find whether they seek it or not. The figure lifted a card to his face. They couldn't see it clearly due to how far he was from them, but it quickly grew in size. It grew 'till it masked the figure altogether, and, then, it began to spin. The first rotation revealed the man to no longer be there. After a few seconds, they saw a figure that no living human could mistake. ???: I am the harvester of souls, guide to the dead, and he who you shall meet when your times come to an end. A large scythe materialized and floated next to him. Death: I am Death. Death then let out an inhuman laugh. Both Jin and Kou could not believe their eyes. Kou was nervous. Jin was angry. Death: There's nothing special about you, Jin. You just had the will to gather what I needed in order to set the stage for the summoning. You were not the only one eager to summon the Shar-Makai into your world. Jin: What?!? Death: The only difference between you and the others is that -they- wished to control them. -They- only wished for the power of the Shar-Makai. Jin was starting to piece things together. Jin: So, you went about our world, convincing others to prepare the ritual? Death: You're close. I would have never been satisfied with just your world. Jin: -Just- our world? Death let out another chuckle. Death: You mortals really have no comprehension of the Multiverse. Your world is not the only. I visited many worlds, convincing misguided souls to unleash the Shar-Makai. Jin: And what did you hope to do with all of that? Death: The Shar-Makai are more than just your average demon. They have the ability to rip holes in worlds. In short, they were freed so that they would rip holes in between the many worlds, thus linking them all together. Jin: And what would that have done? Death: You mortals were never quite capable of accepting one another. With the new worlds open, new powers would form. Conquest and war would erupt into a scale far beyond what has ever been seen in any world. The fighting would bring about darkness, destruction, and chaos unto the Multiverse. Jin: And what would you plan to do with such a screwed up existence?!? How would you even manage to control it?!? Death chuckled. Death: That is none of your concern. You have served your purpose very well, Jin. I was hoping to use you more in the future, but I suppose you would never have ammounted to much more. I shall grant you the honor of personally being brought to rest by myself. Enjoy the afterlife. With these words, Death sent his scythe spiraling towards Jin. Jin jumped out of the way. Jin: You're gonna have to do more than that to kill me. As he focused his attention on Death, the scythe began to spiral back towards him. Kou saw this. Kou: Watch out! Kou tackled Jin onto the ground, the scythe cutting off a few strands of Kou's hair before returning to Death. Death: Oh? Kou got off of Jin and helped him back up. Jin looked at Kou curiously, but Kou had his eyes fixed angrily on Death. Jin knew what he was thinking. They worked themselves into their own stances. Death: Do you actually believe you can defeat me? Death let out a maniacal laugh. Death: Oh ho ho, that is -very- amusing! Suddenly, his voice became very grim. Death: But I suppose you can join him, too, Kou. Saying this, Death began to move to his right. As he did, another Death split away from him, forming its own scythe as it came into existence. They both spoke at once. Death: I shall show you the true pain and pleasure of death! --------------------- At first, I did this match against only one Death. He had more attack power than he normally would, since it was a two-on-one fight, but it wasn't very exciting. So, I tried a two-on-two and started getting my ass handed to me. My bro finally told me that his scythe is technically a high attack, and that blocking while crouching wouldn't work. With that, it made the fight much easier. The cool thing about either recorded match was that it only took one try to get optimal footage. ;) Credits: GOKUHI for making Death13. (Less)

Man (More) Man 2: You cocky little...! The man tried to fire more rounds at Kou, but no bullets came out. He was out of ammo. Man 2: Damnit! Man 1: Let's just leave it. Man 2: But...! Man 1: It's okay. We've got almost all of Jin's students, anyway. What's the harm in letting just one get away? He'll still cooperate since we have all the others. Kou was shocked to hear this. Kou: What'd you say?!? One of the men pointed at him. Man 2: The next time we meet... The man ran his index finger across his throat. Man 2: ... you're mine. He turned to his partner. Man 2: Let's go. Put out a message as we go. Man 1: Right. Both men rocketed down the street, turning at the nearest corner, leaving Kou's sight. This was urgent news. He'd have to tell Jin... when he wakes up. Right now, he still had to get supplies. He continued on his way. Another hour of walking brought him to a shopping mall. Although it wouldn't have the food he was looking for, it would certainly have other things that they might need. Plus, he felt like he needed to take a moment to relax. Things were getting really stressful. He entered the mall and began to browse. After a while, he came across a large fountain. Another man in armor was standing there. He noticed Kou. Man: So, you're the kid those guys couldn't catch? Kou: Uh oh... Man: Those guys must have been real novices if they couldn't subdue a single kid. Then again, you might actually be a challenge. The man let out a laugh. Man: And that's why I have -this-. He waved his arm, and several pieces of metal floated into the air, positioning themselves until they formed a complete suit of armor. Out from one of the hands, a massive sword came into existence. The armor began to move. Kou: What is that thing?!? Man: You like it? We were just recently given the capability of making things like this. Who knew that magic could turn out to be so useful? Kou braced himself. Kou, with a loud yell, spinned around three times before throwing the scythe at Death. Death tried to catch it, but it cut through him, cutting him in half. With an inhuman cry, the two Deaths ignited into blue fire. One burned away almost immediately, while the other landed on the platform, breathing heavily. Death: Y-You've d-done rather w-w-well. Kou merely glared. Death: Don't think... that this is over... just because you... killed me... I have... many bodies... each with its own life... all of which holding my soul... Their numbers are infinite... You cannot hope... to destroy me... You have... no chance... Your fate... is sealed! Crying out just once more, Death and his scythe burned away into nothing. Kou ran back to Jin, noticing something very alarming. Jin's wound... it was closed and healed! Not even a scar was left behind to show that he had been struck! The only evidence was in his clothing. Kou staggered back, shocked beyond belief. At first, he was horrified to find such a thing happen, but it gradually faded away into relief. Relief, but with a hint of dread. There would be no way he figure this out. Kou: What do I do, now? What do I do? Kou sat down and began to think. After a few minutes, he had an idea. The train they were on would be reaching a city sooner or later. At the next stop, they could get off and try to find a place to stay. He had enough money saved up; they could live off of that for a while. The train was beginning to slow down. --Later that night-- Kou carried Jin through the streets as quickly as he could. Jin hadn't awoken, and it was starting to worry Kou. He finally came across a hotel. Kou: I hope they aren't too expensive. He brought Jin in with him up to the receptionist, who looked at him nervously. Kou: Do you still have any rooms available? Receptionist: Is he okay? She pointed at Jin, who Kou glanced down at quickly. He laughed nervously. Kou: Oh, yeah, aheh, he's fine. He's just... uuh, drunk. Yeah, he's just had a little too much to drink. "Drunk," Kou thought. "Why the hell are you saying that about Jin?" The receptionist looked a little puzzled. Receptionist: He doesn't look very drunk. Kou: He's a light drinker. He can't handle too much. "Damn it!" Receptionist: Should I be worried about that tear there? She pointed at the place where Jin was stabbed. Kou: Oh, yeah, about that. That's from... a Halloween a few years ago. It was part of his costume. "Stop it, Kou!" Receptionist: Why is he wearing a Halloween costume at this time of year?" Kou: He likes to dress up every now and then. "Why won't you stop?!?" Kou: Anyway, do you have any rooms open? Receptionist: Oh? Oh, yes, we just so happen to have a room available. Kou: What's the cost? Receptionist: 3000 yen a night. Kou: Oh, okay. We'll take it. After a brief exchange of currency, Kou was given the key to their room. He and the receptionist exchanged their fairwells and he resumed carrying Jin. He had no idea on how he would explain this to him. --The next day-- Kou woke up and got out of his bed. He yawned before looking back at Jin. He was still out. Kou sighed. Kou: It might take a while before he comes out of it. I'd better make sure we'll have what we'll need in order to last for a few days. He got up and stretched before leaving their room. He went back to the receptionist's desk and paid for another night in advance. They had a brief chat before he left and started walking through the streets once more. He began to ask people if they could tell him where he could find a store that sold food, and he was given directions to a few stores. He decided to try to find one. As he was walking through the streets, he heard people call out. He heard cars screech to a halt, and he heard something else. Something that he recognized. Kou: Those things are here, too?!? He ran as quickly as he could, and found a man on the ground, one of the worm monsters closing in on him. Kou ran quickly up to the creature and gave it a powerful kick, knocking it onto the ground. He heard the man get up and run. As he stood there, the creature let out a small yelp, and others quickly came to its aid. Kou: These are those demons Death was talking about? One of them lunged at him, but he jumped back and away from its fangs. Kou: I can't let these things get away. Kou braced himself. --------------------- Yeah, yeah, I know, there are some dropped frames. I don't I can handle doing these fights over and over until I only get a few frames dropped. I'm the kind of person that feels he does best on his first try. If I do manage to buy Snagit, it will -hopefully- stop dropping so many frames. To put it simply: If it drops less than 100 frames, and the frames aren't dropped at a crucial moment, it's good enough. (Less)
