Miami, Florida.- En Entrevista realizada por la Periodista Ninoska Pérez Castellón en su programa "Ultima Palabra" transmitido hoy martes a las 7:00 pm por "gentv", Canal 8 de Miami, Florida, la Dra. Ana Mercedes Díaz afirmó que el CNE no ha dado los resultados definitivos del 2-D 2007 porque quedaría al descubierto que hubo más votos que electores. La Dra. Ana Mercedes Díaz fué Directora de Partidos Políticos del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) de Venezuela, y trabajó en ese ente comicial por 25 años, hasta el mes de febrero de 2004, cuando fué destituida luego de negarse a seguir los lineamientos de la Revolución Bolivariana. En la entrevista, la Dra. Díaz afirmó que si el CNE llegase a dar el resultado del 100 % de las mesas escrutadas el 2-D, quedaría en evidencia el Fraude Electoral. COmo muestra, montró un cuadro en donde indicaba que con el 94 % de las mesas escrutadas, solo faltan 302 votantes para completar el 100 % del Registro Electoral Permanente (REP). El 6 % restante que no ha sido escrutado representa casi dos millones de votos, lo cual superaría el número de votantes; es decir, habría más votos que electores. La Dra. Díaz igualmente afirmó que el Fraude quedó evidenciado por un error técnico que se evidenció en horas de la mañana el día del Referéndum, ya que el 20 % de las máquinas electrónicas de los centros de votación presentaban resultados con fecha del 30 de Noviembre de 2007, y no la del día del Referéndum, el 2 de Diciembre de 2007. Por impericia técnica, la fecha en la que se montó el fraude permaneció inalterada. En diversas oportunidades, la Dra. Ana Mercedes Díaz ha denunciado que el Consejo Nacional Electoral de Venezuela (CNE) ha mantenido un Fraude Electoral Continuado desde el Referéndum Revocatorio del 15 de Agosto de 2004 hasta nuestros días. Las denuncias no han prosperado en Venezuela porque las instituciones están controladas por Hugo Chávez. Asimismo, la denuncia no ha prosperado a nivel de la OEA ya que la mayoría de los países que conforman esa organización tienen intereses creados con Hugo Chávez gracias a los petrodólares de los Venezolanos, los cuales son utilizados para financiar la expansión del comunismo en la región. Durante la entrevista, la Dra. Díaz igualmente afirmó de manera categórica, sin ambiguedades ni ambages, que en Venezuela existe un sector de la oposición, conocido como "complaciente", que conoce del Fraude Electoral Continuado, especialmente del ocurrido el 2-D 2007, pero que se ha mantenido en silencio para seguirle el juego a Chávez, de hacerle creer al mundo que él es un individuo democrático, a cambio de supuestos espacios políticos en algunas Gobernaciones y Alcaldías que se determinarán en los venideros comicios de noviembre de este año. En otra parte de la entrevista, la Dra. Always curious I wanted to get a (More) Yesterday I went to do a video/photo tour of Toronto's historic Gladstone Hotel that included an interview with owner / renovator and artist Christina Zeidler. Always curious I wanted to get a feel for the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel which is wedged in between West Queen West and Parkdale. This area is an interesting study of local history and sociology. A neighbourhood in transition, it has for many years been a lower income area with significant social problems. Today the neighbourhood is revitalizing, and new housing developments and loft conversions are going up all over the place. The grittier past now coexists with the brighter future. Dozens of new cafes, galleries and funky boutiques have sprung up in the neighbourhood and I enjoyed a little walkaround along Queen Street West. I stopped in for lunch at Café Bernaté, a nice little lunch place almost opposite the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health that features 30 sandwiches with wonderful ingredients such a French brie, avocado, artichoke hearts, asparagus - the kind of foods that make my mouth water. On the way home I stopped off on the CNE Grounds and took some shots of the Princes' Gates and the Automotive Buildings, two outstanding architectural examples of the Roaring Twenties. The Princes' Gates (often mistakenly called the "Princess Gates") were officially opened on August 31, 1927 by the two princes Edward, Prince of Wales and Prince George. Edward later became King Edward VIII. The statue at the top is called the "Goddess of Winged Victory". Today's statue is actually a copy made of plastic polymer since the original statue was replaced in 1987 because it had seriously deteriorated. I also took some pictures of the entrance area of the Automotive Building which was constructed in 1929. Many typical Art Deco details adorn the entrance area of this building whose original purpose was to display the latest car models to the public. Today it is used for a wide variety of exhibitions, and the "Farm, Food and Fun" event is hosted here every year. My quest for the hidden architectural and historical jewels of Toronto continues.....
