After that I graduated and I "earned" Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I graduated at the middle of 2005. I upload it here to have it as attachment to my CV and maybe to help me find better job. I already have pretty good job but who knows. ;). So my theses were done actually in three steps: 1. First was, to describe theoretically flexible production system - CIM systems (in this theory part, I was writing about CIM concepts, Japanese productions systems, CAD/CAM solutions, storages, plant layout, rationalizations in production and so on. That was theory, and to much bla, bla...hmmm...pretty boring... :) 2. Then, more interesting, and more practically, I do one 3D graphics simulation of that system. This is actually this video (part one) what are you watching right now! As you can see from video, I simulate one flexible (automatic) manufacturing system what was capable to work without human intervention. As the "head" of the system I've used robot control unit. Robot was coordinating work of table, turning machine and mill machine (robot give the commands to table, to start programs for machining, to open doors of cnc machines, jaws and so on). Basically, the system was working simple as this: Proximity switch(sensor close to table) was detecting presence of raw material on rotation table. When the proximity sensor "saw" material the Robot get signal "that the raw material is ready for production". Then the robot hand pick-up raw material by already pre-programmed positions. Then robot put the raw material in turning machine(with own preprogrammed G-code CNC machining software). Again, robot control unit (with own software), was give command to turning machine to close the jaws, close the door, and start CNC program of turning machine. After the turning is done, robot takes a semi-finished product from turning machine, and deploying it to mill machine. Then, milling operation started and turning machine is again free to insert new raw material. So robot, go and takes new raw material and putting it turning machine again. At the end (I am boring already:), after milling operation is done the robot take the finished product and putting it back to table. And so on in circle. 24 hours per day if you want. 3. All this I do also in reality. And it is important to say that my university had only separated cnc machines and robots which I connect in flexible automatic system alone for first time. ERC, tot i formar part del mateix govern que promou aquesta obra, no havia mostrat la seva posició contrària fins ahir. Concretament, el secretari general d'Esquerra, Joan Puigcercós, i el portaveu nacional de les JERC, Gerard Coca, van participar ahir en un acte organitzat per la plataforma No Fem el CIM a l'Arboç. En aquest acte, Puigcercós va afirmar que el debat territorial «és viu; tenim una incapacitat d'equilibrar el territori, i això ha de canviar». Amb referència a la construcció de Logis, l'exconseller va donar suport a la posició de la plataforma. «És lògic que el Penedès busqui el seu equilibri, preservi la zona i respecti el sector primari i la natura», va dir. Les alternatives, segons ERC, hi són, i s'han de dur a terme per «redistribuir els punts de creixement». Puigcercós va fer referència als corredors ferroviaris de mercaderies com a proposta fonamental per reconduir el model logístic. Coca, per la seva banda, també es va pronunciar respecte a aquest projecte. «Ja no és un tema estètic o ideològic, sinó un tema de necessitat. Aquest CIM provocaria més col·lapses i contaminació, i no només al Penedès», va dir. El portaveu de les joventuts republicanes va criticar que sempre es tingui més present la qüestió econòmica, quan «hi ha aspectes més importants, com són les persones i les seves necessitats». La plataforma, per la seva banda, va donar les gràcies al partit de govern per fer pública aquesta decisió i els va demanar «responsabilitat» perquè es prenguin mesures des de l'administració de la qual formen part. «La central integrada de mercaderies no és viable i volem que ens respectin. Potser és necessària, però no d'aquesta manera», va concloure Pau Batlle, membre de No Fem el CIM. En JOAN PUIGCERCÓS secretari general d'ERC va dir: «És lògic que el Penedès busqui el seu equilibri, preservi la zona i respecti el sector primari i la natura.
