I strongly believe "Dating is Dumb" and I think that's pretty much the census among males and females alike, or at least to say I'm not the only one. The sense uncertainty, the slight feeling of desperation, mixed with the rush of adrenaline, or a spoil of revenge towards your last "mistake" are all apart of this gruesome rollercoaster ride to get from point A to B. Whether its to find love, or just to get lucky we all have to go through the silly socially demanded courtship protocol called "Dating". But really, when you come down to it for a broke starving actor like myself: it cost way too much, takes too much time, and is emotionally (at best) and psychologically draining. I'm sure you've probably snuck a peek at those insightful yahoo articles revolving and involving "Lessons for Love 101". I'll admit it, I have. Articles revealing, "What she really wants?" or "How to win over a girl." I mean multi-million dollar industries have given rise to the overwhelming demand to make dating easier for men and women alike. This issue of courtship, and dating in the 21st Century was such a hot topic that it even gave me the inspiration to write a 22 page thesis paper at the University of Southern California titled "The Biology of Love: What is the Secret To Seduction" where I examine, the past, present and future of seduction and courtship protocol. I exemplify love doctors, philosophers, professors, seduction experts, and make historical/anthropological references to discover if little has changed from our pre-historic animalistic ancestors regarding courtship. But I digress with this pre-emptive promotion for something that's yet to come so I'll probably publish that paper onto an audio-blog soon, and maybe even progress it into a Video-Blog for visuals. Anyways, what I wanted to focus on was the whole idea of blind dates and then create Voyeuristic Episodic Video-Blogs to give a male perspective about the frustrating silly dance we have to do to get what we want. With the help and encouragement of Producer Anna Yu from "Look Out OC!" I was able to take the viewers on a voyeuristic look at dating through my blind dating experiences. Attached below are two clips: One is a summary clip produced and re-edited by the awesome people at "Look Out OC!" that will show clips from my first blind date. And the second clip is the uninterrupted extensive episode of my whole first blind date with all its madness. PS I still don't like to date, in fact I hate dating, I think it's a waste of time and money, BUT if anyone would like to join me on a date sometime please let Anna Yu know at "Look Out OC!" Beghe starred in the 1988 George Romero film, Monkey Shines: An Experiment In Fear, and his portrayal of a quadriplegic in the film was positively received. He appeared as a police officer in the film, Thelma & Louise, and played Demi Moore's love interest in, G.I. Jane. What's made Google search, Facebook, the iPod, and Firefox household names? They all keep interaction to a minimum. The best presentation of content is the one which requires the least number of clicks and choices. Information overload is daunting: Few clicks and choices means more people stay and use your site. Avoiding interaction seduction allows you to create interfaces that are easier to learn and faster to use with surprisingly delightful interfaces. As an example, we'll see what Google search would have looked like if the Lobby For Advancement Of Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome had got their way.

Aza gave his first talk on user interface at age 10 and got hooked. At 17, he was talking and consulting internationally; at 19, he coauthored a physics textbook because he was too young to buy alcohol; at 21, he started drinking alcohol and co-founded Humanized. Two years later, Aza founded Songza.com, a minimalist music search engine that had over a million song plays during it's first week of operation. After Humanized was sucked into Mozilla, Aza became Head of User Experience for Mozilla Labs. Starsky and Hutch (to use its original spelling; it became Starsky & Hutch a few episodes into the run) is a 1970s American television series that consisted of 92 episodes of 60 minutes and a single-90 minute pilot, created by William Blinn and broadcast between April 30, 1975 and May 15, 1979 on the ABC network; distributed by Columbia Pictures Television in North America and, originally, Metromedia Producers Corporation in some other parts of the world.
protagonists were two Southern California policemen: the dark-haired David Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) who was a streetwise detective with intense, childlike moods, and the blond Kenneth 'Hutch' Hutchinson (David Soul), a more reserved and intellectual character; Under the radio call sign "Zebra Three", they were known for tearing around the streets of "Bay City" in Starsky's two-door Ford Torino, which was red with a large white vector stripe. It was nicknamed the "Striped Tomato" by Hutch in the episode Kill Huggy Bear; the nickname was subsequently adopted by the fans of the series. However, the term didn't come from the writers - it came from a real-life comment that Glaser made. When he was first shown the Torino by Aaron Spelling, Glaser sarcastically said, "That thing looks like a striped tomato!" Hutch also had a car, a beaten-up 1973 Ford Galaxie 500, which occasionally appeared when the duo needed separate vehicles, or for undercover work.
Their main underworld contact was the street-wise, jive-talking Huggy Bear (Antonio Fargas), who often dressed extravagantly and (in some seasons) ran his own bar. The duo's boss was the gruff, no-nonsense but fair Captain Harold Dobey, played by Bernie Hamilton in the series (gravel-voiced actor Richard Ward in the pilot). "Starsky and Hutch" has been credited for being one of the first prime-time dramatic shows to cast black characters in a positive light; with both Captain Dobey, and - despite his walking on the edge of the law - the honest and trustworthy Huggy seen to be positive black role models. Huggy's immense popularity caused Spelling and Goldberg to consider giving Fargas his own series. The second season episode Huggy Bear and the Turkey was the test pilot for a proposed spin off with Huggy and his friend, former Sheriff "Turkey" Turquet (Dale Robinette) becoming private investigators; however, it never led to a series. In the episode it was revealed that Huggy's last name is Brown (no clue as to his first name was given).
Two character names came from William Blinn's past: "Starsky" was the name of a high school friend, and "Huggy Bear" was a local disc jockey.
Fans loved the gritty, often violent, plotlines, comic banter, and particularly the close, devoted and enduring friendship between Starsky and Hutch. In stark contrast to police characters on TV up until this time, Starsky and Hutch were open with physical gestures of affection, often declaring that they trusted only each other against the world (leading to some claiming that there were homosexual overtones between the pair; in fact, some in the Hollywood press referred to the characters as "prime-time homos").
