Then, when Nick and I turned around, Kevin was standing there with his hands in his pockets. Nick looked at him and almost seemed to regret asking him to drive us to our date. Kevin walked up to the door where Cass was standing. This wasn't good. My sister was known as a habitual flirter: she seemed to flirt with every guy that walked past her. I didn't blame her because she could get any guy she wanted with simply no effort. I hated her for that. Anyway, so Kevin walked up to Cass and I could see her "flirty face" come into action.
"I just want to let you know that I'll make sure Madison is home at a decent time." My sister smiled and then said something I couldn't quite make out. They were talking for a couple of minutes when Nick sighed and looked at his watch.
"Kevin, dude, you know the restaurant closes at some point tonight." I laughed at Nick's impatience and then when Kevin realized he was cutting into our date time, he said goodbye to my sister and then the three of us walked to his car. I was surprised when Nick opened the car door for me with a smile on his face. Did guys actually do that still? I thought that only happened in movies, but I thought it was really sweet. After I sat down, Nick joined me soon after. He took my hand again, and I could feel my heart make an irregular beat. I looked up to see Nick smiling at me still, which made my heart beat faster still. I looked back into his beautiful dark brown eyes and I got lost in them. I will always remember those eyes. Then, when Kevin said something the both of us jumped and looked towards the front of the car.
"So, Madison, was that your sister?" I heard Nick say something under his breath that almost sounded like a "here we go." I looked at him and then looked back towards Kevin.
"Yah, her name is Cassidy."
"Oh, cool. How old is she?" Kevin couldn't have been any more obvious that he found my sister attractive. I decided to take this opportunity to help her out since she helped me get ready for my date.
"Cass is 20. She loves long walks on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners, and stuffed animals.
