Hill's "soulful and rasping voice"[1] and talent for picking songs[2] have helped her to sell over 30 million records and accumulate 11 number one singles on the Country charts. Hill has been honored by the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the Grammy Awards, the American Music Awards and the People's Choice Awards. Her Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 with husband McGraw became the highest-grossing country tour of all time.[3] In 2001 she was named one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal. Biography [edit] Early life Hill was born Audrey Faith Perry in Ridgeland, Mississippi near Jackson, Mississippi. She was adopted as an infant, and raised by a couple in the nearby town of Star. Her adoptive parents raised their two (biological) sons and Hill in a very Christian environment.[2] Hill's vocal talent was apparent early, and she had her first public performance, a 4-H luncheon, when she was seven.[4] By the time she was a teenager, Hill was a regular performer at area churches, even those not in her own Baptist denomination.[5] At seventeen, Hill formed a band that played in local rodeos. She briefly attended college, but at 19 quit school to move to Nashville and pursue her dream of being a country singer. In her early days in Nashville, Hill auditioned to be a backup singer for Reba McEntire, but failed to secure the job.[2] After a stint selling t-shirts, Hill became a secretary at a music publishing firm.[4] Apart from her quest for entry into the music industry, Hill also began working towards a more robust family life. In 1988 she married songwriter and music executive Dan Hill, who provided the surname she would use as she became famous. Two years later she began a search for her natural mother, whom she eventually met and with whom she still corresponds.[6] A co-worker heard Hill singing to herself one day, and soon the head of her music publishing company was encouraging her to become a demo singer for the firm.[4] She supplemented this work by singing backup vocals for songwriter Gary Burr, who often performed his new songs at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe. During one of those performances, an executive from Warner Bros. Records was in the audience, and, impressed with Hill's voice, began the process of signing her to a recording contract.[2] [edit] 1993 1997: Country success Hill's debut album was Take Me as I Am (1993); sales were strong, buoyed by the chart success of "Wild One". Hill became the first female country singer in 30 years to hold Billboard's #1 position for four consecutive weeks when "Wild One" managed the feat in 1994.[7] Her version of Erma Franklin's "Piece of My Heart", also went to the top of the country charts in 1994,[4] although rock fans drew unflattering comparisons to Janis Joplin's cover.[citation needed] The album sold a total of 3 million copies.[4] Shortly after the release of her album, Hill found her marriage falling apart. She and Dan Hill divorced in 1994.[6] The recording of Faith's second album was delayed by surgery to repair a ruptured blood vessel on her vocal cords. It Matters to Me finally appeared in 1995 and was another success, with the title track becoming her fourth #1 country single. Several other top 10 singles followed, and this album also sold over 3 million copies.[4] The fifth single from the album, "I Can't Do That Anymore," was written by country music artist Alan Jackson. In the spring of 1996 Hill began the Spontaneous Combustion Tour with country singer Tim McGraw. At that time Hill had recently become engaged to her former producer, Scott Hendricks, and McGraw had recently broken an engagement. McGraw and Hill were quickly attracted to each other and Hill broke her engagement so that she and McGraw could begin dating. The pair became engaged on the tour and married on October 6, 1996.[6] They have three daughters together: Gracie Katherine (b. 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (b. 1998) and Audrey Caroline (b. 2001). Since their marriage, Hill and McGraw have strived to never be apart for more than three consecutive days.[2] [edit] 1998 2004: Pop crossover After the release of It Matters to Me, Hill took a three-year break from recording to give herself a rest from four years of touring and to begin a family with McGraw. During her break, she joined forces with her husband for their first duet, "It's Your Love". [1] The song stayed at Number 1 for six weeks[4] and won awards from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Hill has remarked that sometimes when they perform the song together, " it [doesn't] feel like anybody else was really watching."[1] She reentered the music business with 1998's Faith.[1] The album moved her closer towards a mainstream, pop-oriented sound, although it retained some country sound. "This Kiss" became a #1 country hit, and was the first of her singles to place on the pop charts, peaking at #7. The album sold over six million copies and delivered more hits including another duet with McGraw, "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me", "Let Me Let Go" and "The Secret Of Life".[4] To follow up this new found success Hill immediately released Breathe, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Country and all genre charts, ahead of albums by Mariah Carey and Savage Garden.[8] Although the album had few overt country sounds, it "complement[ed] her vocal strengths."[9] For the first time, the album consisted solely of songs about love and did not venture into the more somber territory that her previous albums had touched.[9] The title track, "Breathe", reached Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.[8] "The Way You Love Me" hit the top ten as well (#6), and became one of the longest running singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 (57 weeks).[citation needed] The album won Hill three Grammy Awards including Best Country Album, Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for Let's Make Love featuring Tim McGraw and Best Country Female Vocal Performance for Breathe.[10].[10] It also marked a step away from her girl-next-door image, as the videos and promotional pictures all portrayed a much sexier image. Breathe has sold almost 10 million copies worldwide.[11] Hill used her 1999 tour to support a national children's book drive. Fans who donated books at one of her concerts were entered into a drawing to meet her personally after the show.[12] The effort resulted in the donation of 35,000 children's books, which were distributed to hospitals, schools, libraries, and daycare centers in 40 cities across the United States.[13] 2000 was an especially busy year for Hill. Besides a successful tour with her husband, Hill was featured in a CBS television special, VH1's Behind the Music, VH1 Divas 2000, and the Lifetime cable channel's Intimate Portraits series.[8] She signed an endorsement deal with CoverGirl makeup.[4], performed at the Academy Awards and the Grammy Awards, appeared on the cover of numerous magazine, and performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl.[8] Hill was also named to Mr. Blackwell's 10-best dressed women of 2000, the only singer listed among actresses and other celebrities. Hill and McGraw also embarked on their first Soul2Soul tour the "Soul2Soul Tour 2000".[14] Musically, in 2000 Hill recorded a song for the movie Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The song also appeared on the pop and country charts. Hill's success on the pop charts disturbed some country music insiders, who questioned whether she was trying to dismiss her country roots and move into the pop genre. Despite the grumbling, Hill won the CMA Female Vocalist of The Year Award, and in her acceptance speech announced, "I love this business and I love this industry...and my heart is here."[8] In 2001, Hill recorded a song for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. "There You'll Be" also appeared on the album There You'll Be: The Best Of Faith Hill, an international greatest hits album. The album featured some dance mixes of "Piece Of My Heart," "Let Me Let Go," "The Way You Love Me" and "Breathe." In 2002, Hill released her new album with a more pop-oriented sound, Cry. The album "spotlight[ed] her impressive set of pipes", but also marked the completion of her "transformation into a pop diva", containing few nods to her country roots. Though the album debuted at #1 on Billboard magazine's pop and country album charts,[4] and Hill made her debut as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, the album's singles (including the title track "Cry", written and originally performed by Angie Aparo) received much less radio airplay than her previous smashes.[15] The album however, did win a Grammy Award and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.[10] Faith Hill's 2002 single "Baby You Belong" off her Cry album was used as the theme song for the movie Lilo & Stitch. The music video featured clips from the movie as well as performance clips, It was released and well received in Asia. Hill was also interested in branching out into acting. Although she was rumored to have won a part in Mel Gibson's We Were Soldiers, she did not actually appear in the movie.[16] Her movie debut came in the summer of 2004, when Hill co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Matthew Broderick and Glenn Close in director Frank Oz's remake of the 1975 thriller The Stepford Wives.[17] 2005 2006: Back to country roots In 2005, Faith Hill returned with her new country album, Fireflies. The CD debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Country and all genre albums charts, placing her among only a handful of artists to have 3 consecutive albums debut at number 1 on both charts.[18] The debut single, "Mississippi Girl", became Hill's highest-debuting single. The song was written specifically for her by John Rich (of Big and Rich) and Adam Shoenfield of MuzikMafia, and tells the abbreviated story of her life. Hill recorded two other songs by Rich, "Sunshine and Summertime" and "Like We Never Loved at All", both of which became successful singles.[19] The album marked a return to Hill's country roots and succeeded in reestablishing her place on country radio.[20] Her focus changed to charitable endeavors in 2005. In the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina, Hill and her husband, who was raised in Louisiana, joined groups taking supplies to Gulfport, Mississippi. The two also hosted several charity concerts to benefit those who were displaced by the storm.[21] Later in the year the couple established the Neighbor's Keeper Foundation, which provides funding for community charities to assist with basic humanitarian services in the event of a natural disaster or for desperate personal circumstances. After a six-year break from touring following the birth of her youngest daughter,[2] in 2006 Hill and husband Tim McGraw embarked on their Soul2Soul II Tour 2006. The tour became the highest grossing country music tour ever with a gross of $90 million.[22][3] It was named "Major Tour of the Year" by the prestigous Pollstar Magazine, beating out such heavyweights as Madonna and the Rolling Stones. In a special gesture, the couple donated all of the profits from their performance in New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina relief.[23] 2006 CMA Awards controversy In November 2006, Hill made entertainment news headlines when she appeared to react angrily to losing the Female Vocalist of the Year award to Carrie Underwood at the CMA Awards. Hill, who was backstage at the time, could be seen pacing in anticipation and throwing both hands in the air as if she had won, and then mouthing "What!?" into the camera and then stepping away from the camera after Underwood's name was called.[24] Hill claimed that her reaction was a joke, saying in a statement, "The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me. For this to become a focus of attention, given the talent gathered, is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving female vocalist of the year."[25] She later called Underwood to congratulate her and to clear up any misconceptions between the two singers.[26] Underwood has stated in public that she believes Hill meant no ill-will, and that although she did not believe Hill needed to apologize, her immediate attempt to make amends elevated Underwood's respect for her. Some fans, especially those of Underwood, remain unconvinced and believe that Hill was in fact upset at Underwood's win.[27] Present Her latest album, a collection entitled The Hits In 2007, Hill started work on her first domestic greatest hits package, titled The Hits, which was released on October 2. The Hits features two new songs, "Lost" and "Red Umbrella" (the current single), plus a live version of the song "Stronger," taken from the Soul2Soul 2007 tour. The album also features hits covering her entire career from 1993-2005. Included with The Hits is a DVD of 11 of Hill's music videos. Hill will be heard on Aretha Franklin's upcoming album A Woman Falling Out of Love, planned to be released later this year. She also recorded a duet called "Sleeping with the Telephone" for Reba McEntire's Duets album, released on September 18 2007. Hill is also featured on husband Tim McGraw's new album Let It Go. She sings two duets with him, "I Need You" and "Shotgun Rider". Both songs were sung at the couple's critically acclaimed Soul2Soul II Tour 2006. She and Tim recently did an encore of their Soul2Soul II Tour; Soul2Soul 2007 began in June and ran through August. Hill was recently asked to sing the theme for Sunday Night Football that airs on the NBC network. The song is called "Waiting All Week For Sunday Night". (Less)

Dulce sneaks back into her room and cries herself to sleep. She wakes up early in the morning to go for a jog, then her and her sister go to the mall the whole entire day to get their mind off things. When they come back, an aftershock of what happened the night before took place. Selena and Dulce walk in the house but all they can see are bags and bags of louggage piled high near the doorway.
DULCE. Dad?!
SELENA. Dad?!
DAD. Oh, hi girls. You guys are home early, I thought you weren't giong to be home until later today.
DULCE. What are all these bags doing here? Are you going somewhere?
DAD. Ummm sweetie...we need to talk. -Dulce had never heard him call her sweetie when he was sober.
DULCE. Sweetie? What's going on. tell me now.
DAD. Well, Dulce...I met this girl.
DULCE. okay. so?
DAD. We're kindof going on vacation.
DULCE. Alone? Without us?
DAD. Yes.
SELENA. Well I guess that's okay. Have fun Dad. So, when are you guys coming back?
DAD. That's the thing. I don't think that we're planning on coming back...
DULCE. What do you mean?
DAD. ...You and Selena are old enough...You can take care of yourselves.
DULCE. HUH!?! AND WHEN EXACTLY DID YOU PLAN ON TELLING US?!
DAD. I would have left you guys a note...or something.
SELENA. YOU CAN'T LEAVE US. YOU'RE NEVER COMING BACK?
DAD. No.
-Dulce loses it and completely goes off. Her Dad starts putting his louggage in the back of a lady's car who just pulled up.
DULCE. COME BACK DAD!
DAD. Selena, control your sister please.
SELENA. NO. you know what? you need to hear this.
DULCE. Dad, ever since Mom died, you've never been there for me. Every birthday and every holiday you were'nt there for even before she died. Do you know how difficult it is to grow up without a father? But it was okay then because Mom was the most important person in my life, but now she's gone and i'm still YOUR child. But what do you do instead of trying to support your two daughters? You go off and drink until you can't even walk! You sleep around with different women and never even show up for work! Dad, you've been fired from every job and you've been arrested several times before, but unlike you, I still consider you my Dad. Daddy, through all the horrible things you've done, I still love you! And now you're just leaving? You can't do that to us! -Dulce bursts out sobbing and attempts to pull her father back.
DULCE. Dad! I just want things to be okay, I just want a family, I just want you to love me! -She's choking on her tears.
DAD. Dulce, you need to stop. I do love you, that's exactly why I need to leave. Both of us know that I can't take this responsibility. I really don't belong here, and I really don't deserve to be your Dad.
DULCE. -on her knees begging her dad.
DULCE. DAD! Please stay, i'll..i'll do anything! I'll stop acting, I'll give it all up, we can go back to New Jersey or back to Spain or wherever you want....just (sobbing) don't leave.
SELENA. You know what Dad?! That is the stupidest excuse I have ever heard! After all we've given up for you, you just can't give a little back? And now you're telling us that you loved us through all that? You have got to be joking. You really don't deserve to be our Dad, we deserve someone who is actually worth it. But I honestly don't give a damn as to wich slut you run off with. Whoever it is, you must care for her a lot more than you care for us. I never want to see you again. -Selena runs off up to her room and watches out the window. She's killing herself inside, because she really didn't mean anything she just said. She wanted her father. She wanted things to be alright. Selena screams and cries and screams and cries. But she can't get away from what she is feeling, and that's deep hatred, frustration, dissapointment, jealousy. The list goes on...
DULCE. NO!! SELENA MAKE HIM STAY! MAKE HIM STAY! -Dulce runs after her father who is entering the car door and is about to drive off.
DAD. I'm sorry. -shuts the door as the lady in the driver's seat starts the engine.
DULCE. FINE! DRIVE OFF! I DON'T CARE! -Dulce kicks the car and falls to her knees, burrying her face in her hands. The car drives off. Dulce sits in the middle of the street, crying uncontrollably.
DULCE. -gives on last and final cry, using all strength she has left.
DULCE. DAD!! why.
DULCE.-Dulce is gasping for air. She feels a warm hand on her shoulder and looks back.- (Less)

The SAG awards have nothing on the greatest talk show host of all time. The SAG's will unfortunately be overshadowed by the show because Duke Believes in two sidekicks, not just one like Carson thought. When coming to be in the live studio audience one cna only explain it as a quantum of Solace. a "Quantum of Solace" is the only way to describe how Duke overpowers Dr. Phil in his interviewing style. The weekend box office has nothing on the show that will easily fill the shoes of O'brien. Jimmy Fallen will not live up to the hype and Fallen will not generate the expectations while consistently defy's peoples expectations and takes them to a place higher than any other weekend box office possibly could. Another guest that should join Britney and jamie lynne is Rachael Ray. Rachael is an interview that would be perfect on the Laguna beach set. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is another name that people want to interview. No one wants to see Dr. Phil or Oprah to inter view Jo-Wilfried Tsonga they want the Duke to do it. Duke was named after John Wayne in case you were wondering. People who will enjoy the greatest talk show the planet has to offer are people who watch star trek. If you are a star trek geek and you hang out at the star treck parking lot at the conventions to see spock and captain Kirk then you will love the show. The next generation is my personal favorite and I believe that captain pickard was a much stonger leader than william Shattner ever was. The lake bell will not be ringing for the host who bumped Jimmy Fallen off the short list of NBC execs desk to be the guy who fills obriens shoes. This is not a youtube partnership. Our sponsors are direct. Red Bull is currently sponsoring my right hand man ryan as they are trying on a new campaign that beats it'll give you wings. Smart water was the obvious sponsor for Lesley and Duke is currently being courted by the Nissan GT-R. The Nissan GT-R needs to get in line. Duke drives a dodge magnum with a hemi and is the only one man enough to represent Dodge. Celebrity Gossip is always fun unless you are the celebrity. That is why we need britney to stay away from alcohol and drugs and hang out with some fun rowdy talk show people. The one celebrity gossip that I do want to mention is Sophie Ward. Sophie ward should sit on my couch and spill the beans. The tropic of Cancer is a great book. Tim Bluhm is one guy that we would really like to perform. All motherhips fans should become show fans. Our crowd is die hard. Fans as devoted as howard stern. As pumped up as Jerry springers audience and as rowdy as Wally George. Michelle Williams is welcome to come sit in the live studio audience at any time. Thank you to Britney and Jamie Lynee Spears. I hope to see you soon. If Kfed needs a gig he is also welcome to perform on the show.

Punjabi/Indian Sikh girls wake up. Any relationship outside the Sikh faith is strictly forbidden, remember the sacrifices the couragous mothers of Sikhism made the in the past. You want to spit on their memory? you want to dishonour the memory of of these great souls. Wondered why boys are perfered over girls in India (female foetus abortions)? maybe cos when girls are given too much freedom forget their roots and betray the memories of great past mothers and shaheeds of Sikhism and their resonsibilities to family, religion and community. You want to lose your self respect and respect of your family?
No?? then learn your Sikh religion, a jewel of light amoung the pollutants of this dark and temporal materialistic world.
Want to be respected as a woman, as a sister in faith? modesty and family values are the mandetory in Sikhism!
Want love and affection? The scriptures state that the Sikh woman is considered to have the same soul as man, and an equal right to grow spiritually.
The Sikh woman is allowed to lead religious congregations, to take part in the Akhand Path (the continuous recitation of the Holy Scriptures) and to participate in religious, cultural, social and secular activities. According to Sikhism, man and woman are two sides of the same coin of the human race. Man takes birth from a woman, and woman is born of a man. This system is interrelating and inter-dependent. Sikhism believes that man can never feel secure and complete in life without a woman: a man's success depends upon the love and support of the woman who shares her life with him, and vice versa.
Want a meaningful purpose to life? and learn what your beautiful faith of Sikhism has to say?
Then turn to it and embrace it with steel like zeal before this duniya traps you in a vicious circle of life n death, pain and grief.

Whenever a man believes that he has the exact truth from God, there is in that man no spirit of compromise. He has not the modesty born of the imperfections of human nature; he has the arrogance of theological certainty and the tyranny born of ignorant assurance. Believing himself to be a slave of God, he imitates his mastter, and of all tyrants, the worst is a slave in power."
An excerpt from this book and a powerful one it is!
Let me say first that I profess to be a Christian, a gay one which is what it sometimes takes to see the raw truth. Because when one has been created gay you know it for a fact. And when you see the Christian community around you trying to tell you that you are wrong for being yourself and they try to "convert" you to conform to thier image, then you see the raw and unfiltered truth. It amazes me how they, the heterosexual christian community cannot understand nor see this. Quite frankly it boggles my fricken mind. Who has taught these people? Where have they learned to judge when thier book says not to judge? Where have they learned to dislike "the other" guy because he is too different, when thier book says love your neighbor as yourself? Why all the anti-gay sentiment? Who are these so-called Christians who claim to know Gods truth that they can hold us in contempt. Why do they not have no spirit of compromise? Have they not yet learned from history? Why must history repeat itself over and over? Can't they just let go of hating a group of people for a century or two or for good? The Jews, the indians, the blacks the gays, women, etc, and the christians always lose civil rights battles because truth ultimately prevails, but not before a slaughtering of innocents. Jesus must love that.
Anyway, this book has so much to offer the ones who really seek the truth and want to know the facts about this darker side of Christianity and how it still is alive today in the Christian minds especially the fundamentalist. (Less)

My own thoughts about the game and Kaleena carachter after reading certain comments which i didnt like especially about kaieena and prince on the boat
When WW first started there was the prince on the boat.Kaileena already knew he was coming.Shadhee told her in the central hall that his ship approches.Kaileena then says, "You travel to his time and engage him at sea and then kill him!Kill them all!!!" She was still "the empress of time" then.
Then comes the boat scene when Shadhee and the prince fight.Shadhee said, "the empress underestimated your abilities".That shows that fate was already starting to turn against Kaileena.
The old man then mentioned that he would have to face "the empress of time" on the island. The prince then lands on the island.Eventually he comes to the sacraicial alter.Shadhee has already betrayed "the empress of time" by saying that if she wants to change the timeling she can do it herself. The prince kills Shadhee and saves "the empress of time" two times.Once from Shadhee and once from the falling rocks. She the says, " Leave prince and never return. The empress has no love for the world of men.She will kill you when she learns of your presence."
Then comes the 1st hourglass chamber scene. The empress then said it was a dangerous place. The empress then says it's a foolish task to try to stop the creation of the sands. She then tells him how to open up the throne room and then gives him the Serpant sword. After that she says," Succeed or fail the outcome will be the same .What is written in the timeline cannot be changed." Prince then thanks her for the advice.
Then comes the access hall scene. The empress then says "Oh it's you".Also she says, "You remind me of the empress or who I want her to be.Knowing the moment of her own death tormits her."She also says, "A part of me wants you to succeed".Also, that she amired him for trying to change the timeline. A part of Kaileena was starting to show. She even gave the prince her name there. She gives him the Lion Sword.
Then comes the 1st throne room. The prince then invites her to start a new life in Babylon free form the evils of this place. He says,"There is little for you on this island. There will be less when I stand before your empress.".The empress then says,"I'm sorry, I can't take you on that offer."More of Kaileena was starting to show.
Then comes the throne room. The empress then says ,"I'm sorry prince only one of can change our fate today."She also says, "Like you I have decided to change my fate".When the prince kills Kaileena he says,"I meen you no harm but I must finish this". The prince liked The empress you could tell.He was sorry for killing her.He didn't want things to end that way.
Then, comes the 2nd hourglass chamber with the same dialogue. They then walk in the throne room. The prince then says,"This doesn't have to end this way." The Kaileena side of the empress then says again,"I'm sorry only one of us can cheat fate." He then pushes her in the portal. The empress then says on the rock plateau "Then I have no choice. The prince then trys and succeeds to tell her there is another choice. The empress then says, "She chooses the prince to die".The prince then says, "I don't want to kill you." Kaileena then says, "The timeline demands it." Kaileena then helps the prince defeat the Dahaka. She choose another path. The life of "empress of time" was over with as she left her island kingdom to travel to her love's kingdom.
Kaileena took over. She had no more hatred in her soul. She was only afraid of her own death like the prince was."The empress" part of Kaileena died.Kaileena is his true love.
To all Farah fans who think that Farah is his true love I have a question. How often does your 1st love stay your true love forever? We humans we tend to fall in love many times over our lives it seems. Some of it is indeed just infatuation. That was the case with Prince and Farah.Farah won't even remember the prince now.None of the events in SOT ever took place. * A new study shows that girls are developing breasts at an earlier age. The LA Times reports that girls are now hitting puberty at the age of 8. In a related story, R. Kelly says he has never been better. * Britney Spears reportedly locked herself in a bathroom and refused to surrender her kids to authorities. Mental health professionals are calling this a chemically induced anxiety disorder...or as Britney calls it...Wednesday Should Dr. phil decide to discuss the custody battle between Brittney and ex hubby Kfed or kevin Federline then he should make sure that spears is in a safe place. Jaime lynne spears is knocked up at an early age but like juno she is making a hard decision. To give up the baby. (Less)

Our Host, Model/Actress Sincerely Ward, asked Tig about his entrepreneurial endeavors. For more log on to www.blacktreemedia.com or check out the rebroadcast of the BET Hip HOp Awards only on BET. Posted November 15, 2006 -- You gotta love Katt Williams, host of the first ever BET Hip-Hop Awards, for holding down one of the hottest awards shows in hip-hop history. Each time Williams hit the stage at Atlanta's Fox Theater, the crowd responded with uproarious laughter. Couple that with stellar performances and appearances from a virtual who's who in hip-hop, and you've got one hell of a show. :: AD :: The show kicked off with a musical welcome from three of Atlanta's own. Ludacris, Young Jeezy and Jermaine Dupri opened the show with an energetic performance of "Welcome To Atlanta." By the song's conclusion, none other than crunk king Lil' Jon had joined them on stage as the show's announcer. "It's time to get it started," he yelled in his signature voice. It was as that point that you knew hip hop was definitely in the building. Lil' Wayne stunted alongside his "daddy," the Birdman during their performance of "Stuntin' Like My Daddy," but no affectionate kiss this night. And as it should be for a show held in the ATL, the South dominated. Ludacris and Young Jeezy's explosive performance together shut down any hint of beef between them. Later on in the show, Jeezy held it down solo, bringing the strip club (literally) to the stage with "I Love It." Women danced on poles, money filled the air, and feminists cringed in their seats. :: NEW PAGE :: The West Coast did represent with performances from soon-to-be-released superstars Snoop and the Game. Snoop brought the audience to their feet with his performance of "That's That" minus R.Kelly (of course). But it was Compton's own Game, who single-handedly claimed the West Coast's position. Performing two singles from his highly-anticipated album, Doctor's Advocate, out this week, Game rocked the crowd with "One Blood" featuring Junior Reid and "Let's Ride." Constantly shouting 'Picture Me Rollin'' (a reference to an old 2Pac song), he rhymed in front of a stage full of rims (most likely, 26'es as only a true Cali son could do). Following Game's performance, Busta Rhymes accepted his award for Best Live Performer. While he paid homage to legendary performers such as Public Enemy, he made it clear that he wasn't impressed with someone on stage that night. T.I. graced the big screen before he even hit the stage. The night's biggest winner with three awards, his voice overpowered the crowd as the screen lifted to reveal the pint-sized MC for his performance of "Down Low." Clearly an ATL favorite, the audience stayed on their feet throughout his show. But the East came hard too, with Jim Jones performing his street anthem "We Fly High," a joint so hot, he had host Katt Williams bopping across the stage and doing push-ups. Then, DJ Unk closed it out with "Walk It Out," with a tightly choreographed set that had the entire audience trying to walk out of their seats and onto the dance floor. With Grandmaster Flash as the recipient of the "I Am Hip-Hop Award" and Flavor Flav stealing the show with his flavorful personality, history was not only honored at BET's first Hip-Hop Awards, but it was also made. When Vicky happened to catch sight of Paulina and Grant, she noticed the matching dresses too, and she flew off the handle, despite Ryan's best efforts to calm her down. Both women left their dates in the ballroom, at which time Grant told Ryan that he and Paulina are engaged but Grant chose not to announce it at the ball as he had originally planned to do because Paulina's divorce from Jake hasn't come through yet, and Ryan congratulated Grant and suggested that they call each other and find out about wardrobe for future public events, then wondered how they're supposed to keep their fiancees from killing each other. Meanwhile, Donna was trying to reassure Vicky that she looked much better in the dress than Paulina, but when the Hudson women entered the ladies' room and found Paulina there, Vicky and Paulina got into a verbal argument that quickly escalated to name calling and shoving. Donna had to head off a catfight between the two, throwing a stranger out of the ladies' room in the process. Paulina refused to leave and change into another dress at Vicky's and Donna's mutual suggestion, and after Paulina told Vicky, "May the best woman win" and left the ladies' room, Donna had to hold an outraged Vicky back so Vicky didn't physically go after Paulina. Whenever a man believes that he has the exact truth from God, there is in that man no spirit of compromise. He has not the modesty born of the imperfections of human nature; he has the arrogance of theological certainty and the tyranny born of ignorant assurance. Believing himself to be a slave of God, he imitates his mastter, and of all tyrants, the worst is a slave in power." An excerpt from this book and a powerful one it is! 2007-10-14 02:41:22 Description: Nazli Sabri (Arabic: نزلي صبري / نازلى صبرى) (June 25, 1894 - May 29, 1978), was the Queen consort of Egypt, (May 26, 1919 - April 28, 1936) as the second wife of King Fuad. Queen (More) Nazli Sabri (Arabic: نزلي صبري / نازلى صبرى) (June 25, 1894 - May 29, 1978), was the Queen consort of Egypt, (May 26, 1919 - April 28, 1936) as the second wife of King Fuad. Queen mother of Egypt (1936-1950). She was the daughter of H.E., Abdu'r-Rahim Pasha Sabri, Minister of Agriculture and Governor of Cairo, by his wife, Tawfika Khanum Sharif. Queen Nazli also was the maternal granddaughter of Major-General H.E. Muhammad Sharif Pasha, Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs. She was also a great-grand-daughter of Suleiman Pasha.
She had five childern: a son, Farouk, the later king of Egypt and Sudan, and four daughters: Fawzia married later to Shah of Iran, Fayza, Fayqa and Fatheya.
Quen Nazli left Egypt around 1947 with princesses Fayka and Fat7ia to tour the USA. Accompying the royals were two Egypitian young employees, one of them being the christian Reyad Ghali, in whom the then teenage Fatheya full in love. When the news reached Egypt, it was the largest public anger,,,,,,how would the muslim princess get married to the Christian man? King Farouk tried to convince his mother and two sisters to go back to Egypt, even tried to convince Reyad Ghali to adopt Islam to marry the little princess,,,,,,,,,,,,only Fayqa was convinced and went back to Egypt with the other Egyptian employee, in whom she too fell in love, the king was happy to acknowldge thier marraige.
Nazli and Fatheya continued being stubborn, thus being later deprieved of thier royal titles and wealth and declared no more members of the Egyptian royal family since August 1950. They lived herafter as normal citizins in USA. Fatheya was happy to mary her prince charming. Later both Fatheya and her mother converted to chrisitianty.
Yet the darkest part of the story was still to happen, that same man for whom the two women secrified thier titles, wealth and religio turned out to be a murdrer, klling Fatheya herself in 1976,,,,,and trying to commit suisuide at the same moment, yet his life was spared,,Fatheya`s gone!
When Nazli died two years later in 1978 she was burried as a chirisitan in USA.
