Lyrics:
THE HERO
The blade I swing
Is black as night
Black as my soulless heart
It bears the burden
Of many lives
But I don't feel remorse
I lent my sword
To anyone
Willing to pay the price
No regrets for
What I've done
A mercenary's life
But there i was
On battleground
Until I felt the jaws of death
Cut into my flesh
Defending old and weak
But I did not retreat
Now, here I lie
In my own blood
And strangers cry for me
I'm prepared to meet the gods
I wish they'd let me be
I don't deserve
Their sympathy
I know who I am
My soul is death and misery
I am an evil man
I rest in my blood
Soon I will face the gods
Strangers cry for me
I wish they'd let me be
Show no sympathy
Shed no tears for me
I know who I am
I am an evil man
I know who I am
I am an evil man (Less)

On and off ramp signs in our home-city,

What will we (More) Community Reminder (Share Selflessly and Give Often)
On and off ramp signs in our home-city,
Aren't just made of steel any more,
but cardboard supported by frail human souls.
What will we do these cries?
with our community's pleas?
What will you do with mine?
And with yours, what would you have me do?
Sometimes I ask and I sing...
Do we know what it's like to hunger...?
Do we know what it's like to beg for food/bread...?
Do we know how it feels to feed others?
Do we know what it means...to be...fed?
All burned down to my lowest and least
I cry to you God, "When will they stop?"
All drained out to my very last drop
come remind me how much I've got.
[...How much I've got...]
This Sabbath past, I napped in the park
near a weathered man yelling at his tired "old lady"
Bottle of bad habit in his grasp just after noon.
Defensive obscenities bounce back from her restless heap.
Several nights ago, I sat up with a woman nearly my mother's age
who denied with screams that she would ever need another's help
But with no place to sleep, she resorts to dependency,
Hypocrisy, dichotomy, she multi-tasks,
by both confiding in my assistance
and cursing all [of us] in her community.
Because at one stage in her life, she too scorned away her kind,
back when she possessed the means,
she frowned upon the homeless,
but never thought that she would be.
Late hours under an overpass
I've listened to life stories, so very not my own,
while walking the same earth,
we seem to live in different worlds.
Deafly, I ignored our neighbors' cries [countless times] before
Stomachs groan so quiet(ly) when they growl outside of us.
Tears appear so tiny when they fall on other cheeks.
But every time these (things) happen to me, I take full notice.
Somehow when they are mine I see...and I feel...
[and I plead...]
All burned down to my lowest and least
I cry to you God, "when will they stop?"
All drained out to my very last drop
come remind me how much I've got.
[Thinking back...]
I expect someone would take me in if I lost my home.
Would someone pay my bills if I lost my job?
Would I return to open arms if I [ever] went to jail?
Do you ever ask yourself these things?
...your expectations for community?
Replacing discrimination with wisdom, unless given discernment,
I must change how I determine who I consider my neighbors.
Do I only help those I trust?
Can I be trusted to help strangers?
lost in stranger situations than mine, I find our neighbors saying:
"(I) Can't get a place without money.
I can't earn money without a job.
And, (I) can't get work without a place to live.
So with no address, I'm left without—
Out here on these (street) corners
finding our community busy not caring.
How embarrassing!
I don't want to be here. And you don't want me to be...
[here] barely able to support this sign,
a sign of our community's lack of sharing.
That each of us is somehow an island,
expected to live on our own?
Sealed off lonesome in our fear-filled bubbles.
(But) Once an individualist, Meet our neighbor Lynsi:
She told me, "I'm only twenty three
and I moved away from an abusive house at age sixteen.
For the last seven and a half years
my dog has been my only family.
I can't leave her. But, shelters don't take pets.
So, because we are family, I have trouble finding rest."
I can't receive what's offered and can't make it on my own.
So from all those who used to be my peers,
I'm here holding up this sign
asking for the grace I never gave.
Because having once slept on sheets in a home,
You never want to seek refuge on an aching concrete bed."
[...Screaming...]
All burned down to my lowest and least
I cry to you God, "When will they stop?"
All drained out to my very last drop
you remind me how much I've got.
[Because...]
I know what it's like to hunger...
I know what it's like to beg for food/bread...?
I know how it feels to feed others?
I know what it means...to be...fed?
All burned down to my lowest and least
I cry to you God, "When will they cease?"
All drained out to my very last drop
you remind me how much I've got.
All burned down to my lowest and least
I cry to you God, "When will they stop?"
All drained out to my very last drop
you provide me with what I've got.

2008-05-08 17:26:32 Description: Episode 35, Season 3.

"Burned Out": (10/5/87) Pt. 3
A fire in the attic leaves the Hogan's shaken, and forced to share quarters with the Poole's next door. Willard Scott appears as Mr. Poole.
This is taken from a taping of the original NBC airing of the show. Due to the age of the tape (over 20 years), there are moments where slight grain occurs. I hope this doesn't impede anyone's enjoyment of the episode.
On a side note, this episode is a favorite/least favorite of mine.
One reason I love it is because of the superb acting. Jason Bateman & Sandy Duncan are especially brilliant, and kudos to all for entertaining us and moving us to tears.
Why it's a least favorite of mine is due I think to poor writing. There are enough continuity plot holes to sink a ship:
Firstly, the show was called at the time "Valerie's Family", well, where was her family? Where were her parents, the boys' grandparents? Wouldn't they have wanted to help their dead daughter's family? Nope, not even a mention. Where was Annie Steck? She lived close enough to the Hogans that her elm tree was clogging their plumbing, but she's nowhere to be found. And why is it that besides Sandy, David & Michael, no one else ever mentioned Valerie? Wouldn't Mark & Willie speak of her? How about Mrs. Poole? Nope, it's as if she never existed.
The show changed drastically in tone with Season 3's first episode. During Season 2 of the show, the writing had gotten sharper and wittier and was more cleverly funny and not as cute. Season 3 changed that, and it began with the previous star's exit. Valerie's death received a blasé treatment with the family acting hardly scarred. I realize with a comedy it couldn't dwell on the subject and the show was trying to move on without her, but it still should've given the character she played her due. By not doing so, the rest of the cast was acting out of character. The family should've been more devastated by their loss but they acted hardly fazed. It was as if the cast were almost like strangers where the names and faces were the same but something was a bit off, making them slightly unrecognizable.
In order for that episode to not look like it took place in another universe, the show continued in that direction, where the plots and humor were more contrived, predictable and, dare I say it, dumbed down. By snubbing Valerie Hogan's importance, it lost a bit of its truth and as a result the show became a caricature of any typical family-type sitcom. I believe this is why the show is hardly remembered today except for its die-hard fans and those who bring up the Valerie Harper firing controversy.
Kudos to the cast, particularly Jason Bateman & Sandy Duncan, for carrying the show from here on in inspite of the uninspired and recycled scripts. With a cast as talented as this, it's a shame the show didn't achieve artistically what it could have, either with or without Valerie. (Less)

Verse1
Had me convinced that I just wasn't enuff, me and you fussing and fighting cussin all of that stuff now I know, tht I mightve dun you wrong, didn't know I'd pay so long, til u did the same
I know I'd dun u wrong I was making it up to u, I apologised in a million ways but I thought that was that, but I guess u got me bak, didn't know itd be like that, but u did the same
Bridge
Now we're caught in a circle
A constant battle
The day that u hurt me
The clouds cast a shadow on us
And I hope that ur happy we're even now, so cry baby cry
Chorus
Let me see you Cry cry cry
I need to see u cry cry cry
Until your tears run dry dry dry
Like the deserts need the rain
Want ya tears to fall down on me (x2)
Before the love just turns to hate
Before I ask for u to stay
And just before u walk away
Verse2
What is this, what happens to relationships, started off so good and ended up so bad baby I just wanna know, OoH Tell me do u know, baby
Before we knew it we were at it again, no no no, somehow I dont think we can ever be friends, wish it wasn't so
Wish it wasn't so, but u did the same...
Bridge (Repeat)
Chorus (Repeat)
Middle 8
So we go on and on on this merry go round trying to chase a love that can never be found time to say goodbye and step off of it now,
its over girl its over (x2)
Let me see you Cry cry cry
I need to see u cry cry cry
Until our tears run dry dry dry
Like the deserts need the rain
Want ur tears to fall down on me (x2)
Before the love just turns to hate
Before I ask for u to stay
And just before u walk away
ALL OR NOTHING-
Verse1
There wasn't anything I didn't love about u,
you'd do some stupid things and I'd laugh at those too,
& we went together like the summer in June
But who'd have known that it'd rain so soon
Thought I'd be the only one that'd make u smile,
thought I'd be the only one that'd really know how
But u showed me different and I know better now,
I gotta get u out my system somehow
Chorus
I replay it over and over again
U were my girl, now we 'aint even friends,
u couldve been my all or nothing, all or nothing,
now to me ur nothing, girl u r nothing, now ur nothing
Verse 2
Put u on a pedestal, girl I held u so high
was never too good at finding the words to describe,
just how I felt for u but u know that I tried,
but somehow we went and changed inside
U damn near were my everything ur still on my mind,
but I'd rather be here all alone and I'm doin just fine
gotta take it back to the days before we met
and live our lives as strangers again
Chorus (X2)
Middle 8
December days, my summer turned to winter
When u went away - I can't help but wonder
Was he worth my pain - U shud know better - and I shouldve too
And I cried, and u cried and we tried to make it work,
almost died while we tried, is that what our love was worth,
If I cud do it again, I would be a better man,
now I'm living with just memories
Chorus (X2)
GOOD ENOUGH-
Verse 1
I got my mothers skin I've got my father eyes
Its something that I cant deny
its nothing that I wanna hide
and even though my roots come from the other side
I didn't think they would mind
Cos i heard that love was blind
So many cant understand, when it comes to me and you
Cos I don't fit their descriptions
Tell me how to change traditions
When there's all of them and one of me
Chorus
How can I change a million minds in this lifetime
What is it I have to do
If I erase my history - what defines me
If I let them change the truth
Would I be Good Enough For You ?
Verse 2
I wish they looked at me and they could see beyond
Everything think they think I am
Cos pedigree don't make a man
Don't have to dig too deep to see I'm just like you
What is it they want from me - tell me what more can I prove- Why-
So many cant understand, when it comes you and I
I Don't fit in their descriptions - though I try
To change those old traditions
When its all of them and one of me
(I could lie I could lie I could lie)
Let them take all I knew
Would I be good enough for you
Midde 8
We pretend we have open minds
Yet we judge so fast
Tell me why - to live out my future - yeah
I must surrender my past
Chorus (Less)

He messed up a few times as it was pretty hard to keep his breath through all the lines because he ran it through from start to finish. He started writing it as a Lil Wayne-esque song so don't mind the nods to Weezy.
I got the beat from a free download from Mazik Productions, you can find him at http://www.myspace.com/mazikbeats
Lyrics:
Danger Zone
yezzir
If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen
Stop cookin and start bookin
Danger, I am the body rearranger
Didn't you ever learn not to talk to strangers
I'll reduce you to tears, put you back in your manger
Have you so broken, you be pleading to the angels
Where? Where, where, where could he be
No angel's guardin you, so he must be guardin me
In fact I got behind me a whole army
Call me Holyfield, Tyson, and the new Ali
Hear the guitar spit, hot acid between us
It's like I'm raining this **** like I've brought it straight from Venus
I must be Tom Cruise cuz you just won't believe us
I'm a hurricane boi, like a thousand Katrinas
Lilweeziana, that's always where my palace is
Grippin my throne so I've got calluses
Money the size of Texas, that's where Dallas is
I can murder you all, I don't play favoritist
You dying, you wish this was a cleaner song
You ain't Aladdin you wish you could the turn the genie's on
I'm on the flying carpet where I belong
It's a whole new world, when my mic is on
I said what?
Welcome to the Danger Zone,
Where I stack diamonds like I'm from Sierra Leone,
I make it rain, I can even make it cyclone
Yeah that sounds like the Danger Zone
Ya Dig!?
And you can call me Wolverine
How I'm looking like a hero on a movie screen
and I'm tearing through the pages of your magazine
And laying you to rest, like Apollo Creed
So for president, I know you gonna vote for me,
And I'm dropping all my nukes like it's World War 3
And best believe that there will be some Fall Out, Boy
But you know that this still ain't a scene!
Unh-uh, this ain't a scene, but it's a god**** arms race
I already won, it's just a battle for second place
I just met your baby girl, but we already at second base
She told me to take her high, so I took her to outer space
Diamonds are forever, so I put my jewels in her face
Fire and desire, I be feelin like I'm Rick James
I'm rich *****, I don't even care about your names
Girls, it's time to play some games, ya dig!?
I'm a lyrical terrorist, you can call me Osama
But I'm rulin the country, call me Barack Obama
You ain't neva seen the president drivin a Hummer
And I leave you with some leaky holes, better call the plumber
Hey, Scott, your girl just got-got my number
Last night, I put her through a deep, deep slumber
She gave a piece of her brain all through the summer
And that's why she went back to you just a little dumber
I'm the best rapper the world has known
My lines cut so deep, I could engrave your tombstone
I'm so cold, I be serving you an ice cream cone,
Whatchu talking bout Weezy? I said, The Danger Zone
So stay out if you can't handle the heat
In fact it's so hot that I just...rapped...off...beat
There's no safety, you ain't gotta belt on your seat
Get ready, son, for ya defeat
I'm the rapper you thought you'd only see in your dreams
Weezy F Baby please say the whole thing
Ayo, I'm tired of using technology
So why don't you just sit-sit...down...on top of me
Oof!
Welcome to the Danger Zone
I broke bone after bone until my name was known
I piled stone after stone til I built my throne,
Now you entering the place I call home
The Danger Zone
Yeah
What'd I tell ya
How do ya like me now
And guess what
I-I-I-I got em (Less)

John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) wakes in a hotel bathtub, having suffered amnesia. He is called by Dr. Daniel Schreber (Kiefer Sutherland), who urges him to flee the hotel from a group of men called The Strangers. Murdoch escapes, eventually uncovers his real name, and tracks down his wife Emma (Jennifer Connelly). He is also sought for a series of murders, which he cannot remember, by police inspector Frank Bumstead (William Hurt). Murdoch stays on the move in the city, which experiences neverending night. He sees people fall comatose at the stroke of midnight, and he is pursued by The Strangers. In the chase, he discovers that he has psychokinetic powers like The Strangers and uses them to escape them.
Murdoch questions the dark urban environment and uncovers that he was originally from Shell Beach. He seeks a way out of the city to find the beach, but nobody remembers the way. The Strangers dispatch one of their own, Mr. Hand (Richard O'Brien), equipped with Murdoch's lost memories, to track down Murdoch. Constantly on the run, Murdoch sees how the Strangers alter the city's landscape and people's identities during the still period at midnight. Murdoch eventually meets Bumstead, who recognizes Murdoch's innocence and has his own questions about the nature of the dark city. They find and confront Dr. Schreber, who explains that the Strangers are endangered alien parasites who share a collective consciousness and are conducting human experiments to analyze the nature versus nurture concept of their human hosts in order to continue their survival. Schreber tells Murdoch that he was an anomaly who was not supposed to wake up during the midnight process. The three men embark to find Shell Beach, which ultimately exists only as a billboard on the wall at the impenetrable edge of the city. Frustrated, Murdoch tears at the wall, and the ensuing hole reveals outer space. The men are confronted by the Strangers, including Mr. Hand, who is holding Murdoch's wife Emma hostage. In the ensuing confrontation, Bumstead and one of the Strangers fall into outer space, and the city is revealed to be a giant space habitat protected by a force field.
The Strangers bring Murdoch to their home under the city and force Dr. Schreber to imprint Murdoch with their collective memory. Schreber, having worked for the Strangers, betrays them by instead inserting memories in Murdoch to train him to use his psychokinetic powers. Murdoch, fully realizing his abilities, breaks free and battles with the Strangers, defeating the leader Mr. Book (Ian Richardson) in a sky-high battle above the city. With his newfound powers, Murdoch reshapes the city to have sunlight and to have water around the city, creating an actual Shell Beach. The Strangers retreat from the sunlight to die underground, and Murdoch tells Mr. Hand that they had been looking in the wrong place, the head, to understand humanity. Murdoch finds his wife, who had received new memories and has no recollection of her husband, and they begin their relationship anew. (Less)

Ozzy Osbourne...
Ozzy Osbourne (born John Michael Osbourne, December 3, 1948 in Aston, Birmingham, England) is the lead vocalist of the pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath and the star of the reality show, The Osbournes. In addition to lead vocals with Black Sabbath, Osbourne also plays the harmonica and synthesizer.
As a solo artist, Osbourne has sold over 27 million albums in the US, and 50 million worldwide.[citation needed] Two of his albums, Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and No More Tears (1991), are certified quadruple-platinum, for sales of over 4 million copies in the US.
No More Tears...
No More Tears is an album by Ozzy Osbourne. It was released on October 19, 1991 and it was re-issued on August 22, 1995.
Guitarist Zakk Wylde contributed songwriting and guitar to the album, while Motörhead's bassist/vocalist Lemmy co-wrote four songs. Although Mike Inez is seen playing bass in several of the album's videos, long-time Ozzy bassist Bob Daisley plays on the entire album. Though Inez was an official member of the band, the Osbournes had a longstanding working relationship with Daisley and had also asked him to write lyrics, as he did for all of Ozzy's '80s releases. While his bass playing remains on the album, Daisley's lyrics were not used. Inez is credited as a writer for the title track, yet does not perform on the song either.[1]
This is Ozzy's second album to go Quadtruple Platinum, and has sold about 3,875,327 copies.
Zakk Wylde...
Zakk Wylde (born Jeffrey Phillip Wiedlandt on January 14, 1967 in Bayonne, New Jersey) is a lead guitarist, pianist, singer and songwriter, best known for his role as founder of Black Label Society and guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne. Wylde was lead guitarist and vocalist in Pride & Glory, who released one self-titled album in 1994 before disbanding. As a solo artist he released the critically acclaimed Book of Shadows in 1996. Wylde's playing is characterised by his liberal use of pinch harmonics and the pentatonic scale.
No More Tears lyrics
The light in the window is a crack in the sky
A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye
A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back
The man in the dark will bring another attack
Your momma told you that you're not supposed to talk to strangers
Look in the mirror tell me do you think your life's in danger here ya
No more tears
Another day passes as the night closes in
The red light goes on to say it's time to begin
I see the man around the corner waiting does to see me ?
I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of someone screaming here
No more tears
So now that it's over can't we just say good-bye?
I'd like to move an and make the most of the night
Maybe a kiss before I leave you this way
Your lips are so cold Idon't know what else to say
I never wanted it to end this way my love my darling
Believe me when I say to you in love I think I'm falling here
No more tears (Less)

Chanson De HIM : The Path
"There is no turning back
From this unending path of mine
Serpent turning back
It stands before my eyes
To hell and back
It will lead me once more
It's all I have as I stumble in
Out of grace
I walk through the gardens
Of dying light
And cross over rivers
Deep and dark as the night
Searching for a reason
Why time passes by
With every step I take
The less I know myself
And every vow I break
On my way towards your heart
Countless times I've prayed
For forgiveness
But God just laughed at my face
And this path remains
Leading me into solitude zones
I seek through the darkness
My way back home
The journey seems endless
But I'll carry on
The shadows will rise
And day will fall
And a night turns in dawn
And after their tears they smile
All angels grieve with an envious song
When look into strangers eyes
And I know where I belong
I walk through the gardens
Of dying light
And cross over rivers
Deep and dark as the night
Searching for a reason
Why time passes by
Oh I seek through the darkness
My way back home
The journey seems endless
But I'll carry on
The shadows will rise
And day will fall
And a night turns in dawn
The Shadows
They rise and and they fall
Yeah
And a night turns in dawn (Less)

Sung and produced by brother Andy.

I was standing at your window, but I never saw you go,
Now my spring has turned to winter and the blossoms lie in snow,
I keep searching for a rainbow, arching in the sky,
But my lips still taste of ashes, I have no more tears to cry.
I am seeking blindly seeking,in my never ending quest,
While the arrows of sweet memory come winging to my breast,
I see the stars above me and hear a night bird cry,
The fire still keeps on burning, that once was you and I.
My world is full of strangers, and my heart has turned to stone,
Cruel fate still mocks me, and here I stand alone.
Yet somehow I know you will find me, and open time's great door,
And we shall set love's flames a dancing, like they never danced before,
Till this grey world stops a turning, till the rivers run with wine,
If I must, I'll wait forever, till you fill these arms of mine. (Less)

What will we do (More) Community Reminder (Share Selflessly and Give Often) On and off ramp signs in our home-city, Aren't just made of steel any more, but cardboard supported by frail human souls. All burned down to my lowest and least I cry to you God, "When will they stop?" All drained out to my very last drop come remind me how much I've got. [...How much I've got...] This Sabbath past, I napped in the park near a weathered man yelling at his tired "old lady" Bottle of bad habit in his grasp just after noon. Defensive obscenities bounce back from her restless heap. Several nights ago, I sat up with a woman nearly my mother's age who denied with screams that she would ever need another's help But with no place to sleep, she resorts to dependency, Hypocrisy, dichotomy, she multi-tasks, by both confiding in my assistance and cursing all [of us] in her community. Because at one stage in her life, she too scorned away her kind, back when she possessed the means, she frowned upon the homeless, but never thought that she would be. Late hours under an overpass I've listened to life stories, so very not my own, while walking the same earth, we seem to live in different worlds. Deafly, I ignored our neighbors' cries [countless times] before Stomachs groan so quiet(ly) when they growl outside of us. Tears appear so tiny when they fall on other cheeks. But every time these (things) happen to me, I take full notice. Somehow when they are mine I see...and I feel... [and I plead...] All burned down to my lowest and least I cry to you God, "when will they stop?" All drained out to my very last drop come remind me how much I've got. [Thinking back...] I expect someone would take me in if I lost my home. Would someone pay my bills if I lost my job? Would I return to open arms if I [ever] went to jail? Do you ever ask yourself these things? ...your expectations for community? Replacing discrimination with wisdom, unless given discernment, I must change how I determine who I consider my neighbors. Do I only help those I trust? Can I be trusted to help strangers? lost in stranger situations than mine, I find our neighbors saying: "(I) Can't get a place without money. I can't earn money without a job. And, (I) can't get work without a place to live. So with no address, I'm left without— Out here on these (street) corners finding our community busy not caring. How embarrassing! I don't want to be here. And you don't want me to be... [here] barely able to support this sign, a sign of our community's lack of sharing. That each of us is somehow an island, expected to live on our own? Sealed off lonesome in our fear-filled bubbles. (But) Once an individualist, Meet our neighbor Lynsi: She told me, "I'm only twenty three and I moved away from an abusive house at age sixteen. For the last seven and a half years my dog has been my only family. I can't leave her. But, shelters don't take pets. So, because we are family, I have trouble finding rest." I can't receive what's offered and can't make it on my own. So from all those who used to be my peers, I'm here holding up this sign asking for the grace I never gave. Because having once slept on sheets in a home, You never want to seek refuge on an aching concrete bed." [...Screaming...] All burned down to my lowest and least I cry to you God, "When will they stop?" All drained out to my very last drop you remind me how much I've got. [Because...] I know what it's like to hunger... I know what it's like to beg for food/bread...? I know how it feels to feed others? I know what it means...to be...fed? All burned down to my lowest and least I cry to you God, "When will they cease?" All drained out to my very last drop you remind me how much I've got. All burned down to my lowest and least I cry to you God, "When will they stop?" All drained out to my very last drop you provide me with what I've got. Potter, Garret W.
