In this video I (More) In the June 2008 issue of Nintendo Power, Steve Thomason mentions in his Wii Fit article that he is playing a super-awesome top secret wii game which he will reveal in the July issue. In this video I make suggestions for what I'd like that super-awesome top secret game to be.
Al Davis Wii: Fire coaches who can't get results, trade players who dare ask for higher wages, scream at doctors who ask as if the player's personal health is more important than the team's Super Bowl Chances.
Banjo-Threeie: A guy can dream, right?
Bootlegging: Nintendo has been making console games since the Reagan administration, yet they've never let us make booze, time to fix that mistake.
Clarinet Hero: Woody Allen (alternatives include Sax Hero: Bill Clinton, Organ Hero: Billy Preston, Harp Hero: Harpo Marx and Glass Harmonica Hero: Benjamin Franklin
Commie-Buster: The cold war ended 17 years ago but kicking commie but never goes out of style.
Election: 80's Democrats Edition: Your mission is to do anything in your power to win your party's nomination and then do anything in your power to lose as many states as possible in the general election. (You could also play Republican losers like Barry Goldwater and Thomas Dewey)
Eurodisney Wii: You try getting Frenchmen to like an amusment park based on American movies.
Another movie adaptation influenced by GTA: They've done Scarface, why not Carlito's Way? They've done The Godfather, why not Goodfellas?
Harvest Moon: Ethanol: No cow or chicken raising in this game. Just raising corn for conversion into reusable fuel.
Kid Icarus Wii: Pit's such a cool character.
King of the Hill: This game should involve Hank drinking beer while Dale explains why Mario and Link where involved in the conspiracy to assasinate JFK.
3rd Legend of Zelda Game for Wii
Mario 18 Wheelers: They've done karts and bikes, 18 wheelers are the next logical step.
RC Pro Am Wii: Ah such fond memories
Ristar Wii: Ah, more fond memories
Soul Group: Like Rock Band only you croon the songs of soul groups like The O'Jays and The Spinners (and their excellent song "Rubberband Man")
Spike Lee B-Ball '09: Play any Knicks team from 1947 to 2008. The game may even have some other NBA teams
Stephen Spielberg;s Video Game Remastering: Fiddle around with your favorite games the same way Spielberg made all those unnecessary changes to ET
Super Mario Galaxy II: I'm tired of only one Mario platform game coming out to a Nintendo console.
Trash Stallone's Career: The only video game endorsed by the Raspberry Awards.
Wall Street Wii: Your turn to run a company into the ground.
Woodstock: Warning: There's some bad acid going around this game (Less) Channel: youtube

Bill Kluggs (Dan Dailey) is the first man in his small West Virginia town to enlist, and his father Herman (William Demarest) and the locals give him a big sendoff. But Bill returns from boot camp, assigned to be a gunnery instructor at a new air base in his hometown. While other boys go off to war, Kluggs becomes a local laughingstock. When a bomber pilot falls ill, however, Kluggs replaces him on a secret mission. He falls asleep on the plane and bails out over the French countryside. Found by Resistance fighters, Kluggs accompanies them on a dangerous mission to take pictures of a German V-2 base. To get him out of the country, the Resistance fighters then stage a mock wedding between Kluggs and the fetching Yvonne (Corinne Calvet), whom Kluggs hates to leave behind when he flees to London. Returning home after only a few nights away, Kluggs is attacked by his own father, who mistakes him for a spy. The townsfolk suspect that he deserted the service and heap more scorn on him.

The front cover says Mercyful Fate Live, but the side (spine) reads Mercyful Fate House of Satan King001.
I have taken pictures of the CD and booklet and placed them throughout the video, but they are hard to read, so I transcribed all of the information, (misspellings and all) for easier reading. I hope you enjoy these rare old recordings.
There are many CDR copies of these recordings out there, mine is a silver factory press. This has Mercyful misspelled Merciful on the disc. (Its actually the right spelling).
Booklet (Back Panel)
The live songs on this CD were taken from a show in Copenhagen. The Year is presumably 1981. But that can be argued. Although there are drop-outs and tape defects, this is nonetheless the best recorded Mercyful Fate concert from the early days. A bootleg called Return of the Living Dead contained these songs. But the source tapes for this CD were taken from the collection of John Kibble. He is the father vampire of the tape-trader coven.
The demo songs are interesting because they show the beginnings of King Diamonds style. With the exception of Persecution and Truck Driver, these songs appeared on the bootleg vinyl and cassette called Satans Nightmare.
Persecution was recorded at the same time as Mission: Destroy Aliens, but was not included on Return of the Vampire because the master tapes were damaged by water. Listen for the early beginnings of later songs. Love Criminals became Into the Coven. Some Day, became Desecration of Souls. Death Kiss, became A Dangerous Meeting. Death Kiss on this CD is different than the bonus track on the newly re-mastered Dont Break the Oath, or from the track on Return of the Vampire.
Booklet (Left Inside Panel)
King Diamond, in an interview, made clear that he does not mind bootlegs, as long as it is obvious to the consumer that the item is a bootleg. This way, a person would not judge the band by the poor quality, tape hiss, or sudden drop-outs. When the early Mercyful Fate catalog was re-mastered, live Mercyful Fate songs were not added as bonus tracks because they would give the officially sanctioned albums a bootleg feel.
Upon checking with an anonymous decision-maker at an anonymous record label, I was told that, as long as I keep this bootleg low-key and at a minimum run, no one will have a problem with it.
The reason why this bootleg was put together was not to make money. It is a sincere gesture to preserve the early recordings in a way that cannot be destroyed. The digital format will prevent any further deterioration. Although the quantity of these CDs is very low, enough of them will exist in case the record company will want to release an In Memory of album, should the King die.
Booklet (Right Inside Panel)
Hank Sherman and King Diamond both possess sound board tapes of their early concerts. But as they have declared, they do not feel that the quality is high enough for self release. Fans from the old days demand vintage recordings of the Kim Ruzz era. Yet the only way to hear the live performances was to contact a tape-trader. But those were 6th generation dubs, at best. The recordings on this CD are from tapes that were purchased in the early 80s from John Kibble. So they are at least 2nd or 3rd generation. John Kibble was a person who answered Mercyful Fates fan mail in the early days. He sold tapes of the band without their knowledge. But without him, the world might never have heard some incredible music.
It is hoped that you will tape these songs for your friends. Maybe you might also make a few CDs of these recordings. We, as fans, have to take what little scraps we are given. Maybe one day, both the band and the record labels will understand our hunger for this material, and finally release the recordings we crave.
