His lifespan comprised of 161 years. -------Shree Shankar Maharaj appeared in the form of a small baby in the dense forest of Saint Dawal Mallik 's mountain at Antapur to a poor childless devotee of Lord Shiva named Mr. Narayan Antapurkar alias Chimnaji. He gifted Chimnaji couple with two children and left the house for the welfare of the Universe and to spread the message of love and peace. -------Shree Shankar Maharaj looked on all with an equal eye. He was beyond distinctions of religion, wealth and caste or creed. He embodied all religions and preached the Universal religion of Love and Peace. They have come for Guru Maharaja's respect, I know, but I am looking and thinking there is another cause why they have come, and that is because they are very merciful to me and they want to bless me. And those who are my senior, they are also joining this festival and I am thinking that they are also very merciful to me. This is my birthday and they want to give me their blessings, and for that reason they've come here. They can say anything (in praise of me) but (whatever praise they give me) that is the property of my Guru Maharaj, but I must think that for myself, their blessings are sufficient for me to proceed to my destiny. And in this way, all my Gobrothers, sisters and devotees from the western world, they've come and they've said (or sent) many things for my birthday presentation, or they wrote many things, poetry, many things they have done for my satisfaction. But I am always satisfied with my Guru Maharaj and with their devotion and blessings and that is my wealth and I must proceed to my destiny, to the service of my Guru Maharaj, that is my destiny. I do not know Krishna very much, I do not know Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu, but I have seen my Guru Maharaj and I have seen his mood and what he wants, I know his desire and I am trying, but alone I cannot do everything, that is why Guru Maharaj very mercifully gave help another way (in the shape of) my Godbrothers, my sisters and also disciples. We heard from Guru Maharaja's lectures that Prabhupada (Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati) told "Uddharan bandhava gana" this is how he would address his disciples, which means they are all real friends of my spiritual (indistinct) and they are helping me to go forward for the service of my Lord. In this way Prabhupada is showing his attitude. Then we can say that today that I am fortunate, no doubt. Many Vaishnavas from Guru Maharaja's Godbrothers' centres, they have come here to distribute to me their blessings and respects to Guru Maharaj. And in this way I am giving my thankful obeisance unto their lotus feet (and in doing so) then they must they must be even more merciful to me. If they will take here prasadam etc, and if they can remember today's festival in the name of my Guru Maharaj. This is my prayer. I am praying and apologising to them (Guru Maharaja's Godbrothers and their disciples etc) for any disturbance, or for anything wrong I have done, or for anything (wrong) my Godbrothers of this math will do. They must forgive our offences. This is my last prayer to the vaishnavas and to the devotees. (Less)
