Would've done something more active, but this is what happens when you give me deadlines. Something faster and having a lot more beats would be difficult to complete in only 18 days. Geeze, this is a slow song and it was done in 14. Sooo, ya, tribute to Cheza & Kiba (though I threw in a bit of Darcia). Been simply obsessed with this song for almost a year and wanted to do an AMV to it since February. Gotta love depressing love songs. Umm...ya...I use sepia tone a lot. Song is called "Carnival of RUST", so using a rusty brown-ish colour a lot is a no brainer. I read "Carnival Of Rust" being a metaphor/symbol for worn down or ending love (a carnival being something fun, but a carnival isn't much fun if left in the rain and turns to rust). Kiba's instinct is to be with Cheza and reach Paradise, though so does Darcia. Both of them have a fierce lust for Cheza, though Kiba is the only one that loves her a bit more with compassion (hence where I showed a lot of pissy Darcia shots when it said "where enough is not the same it was before"). Hmm, now that I really think about it, if Kiba's love for Cheza is a wolf instinct, does he truly love her? Stupid question at first, but ya, think about it. Kittie was formed in 1996, when Mercedes Lander and Fallon Bowman met in a high school gymnastics class. The lead singer and guitarist, Morgan Lander, is Mercedes' sister. Their original bassist was Tanya Candler, who eventually left the band in the winter of 1999 to finish high school. She was replaced with Talena Atfield. http://www.poisonedblack.com/
In 2001, Fallon Bowman left Kittie without citing her reasons and eventually started a new project called Amphibious Assault. Fallon's position as guitarist was later filled by Jeff Phillips who worked as Kitties' guitar technician. He now plays guitar for Thine Eyes Bleed.
In 2002 Talena Atfield left the band and was replaced on bass guitar by Jennifer Arroyo. In 2004 the group added a fourth member, the second guitarist Lisa Marx, and Jeff Phillips went to work full-time on his side project, Thine Eyes Bleed.
In 2004 Kittie released the album Until the End.
Until March 2005, Kittie were signed to Artemis Records but parted ways due to "a proposed amendment to the recording budget for the pending fourth Kittie album." Problems between the group and record label had been rumoured for a long time. In March 2004, Artemis and Kittie came to an out of court settlement over unpaid royalties and 11 breaches of contract on Artemis' behalf.
On March 23, 2005, Morgan Lander made a post indicating that both Lisa Marx and Jennifer Arroyo had left the band.[1] Jennifer Arroyo's split was amicable while Lisa Marx's came as a surprise. As with Talena Atfield's departure from the band, financial reasons were cited; and in the case of Jennifer Arroyo, the desire to work outside of Kittie full-time was an additional factor. Jennifer Arroyo would go on to join Billy Graziadei of Biohazard to form Suicide City.
In 2005 Kittie added two new members: Tara McLeod, on guitar, and Trish Doan, on bass. 2005 also brought the debut of Morgan and Mercedes' clothing line, Poisoned Black clothing. Morgan and Mercedes also appeared briefly in the documentaries Metal: A Headbanger's Journey and Heavy Metal - Louder than Life.
On February 7, 2006, Kittie released the Never Again EP through Rock Ridge Music. Also in 2006, vocalist Morgan Lander provided vocals on the song "It Turns to Rust", from the album In the Arms of Devastation, by the Canadian death metal band Kataklysm.
In May of 2006 Kittie announced a joint venture to create their own record label, "Kiss of Infamy Records" which will include major label distribution by EMI. The label name was later changed to X of Infamy from the previously announced Kiss of Infamy after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from attorneys representing Kiss Catalog Ltd. (the owner of the intellectual property rights pertaining to the musical group KISS) alleging that the Kiss of Infamy mark was "confusingly similar" to their client's mark. Their fourth studio album is entitled Funeral for Yesterday and was released on February 20, 2007 through their new label.
Along with the release of Funeral for Yesterday it was announced by Morgan Lander that Kittie would be releasing a new 45 minute DVD along with the CD. [2]
Kittie kicked off 2007 with the "Funeral for Yesterday Tour" running from the beginning of February until the end of March. Other bands on the bill include Walls of Jericho, 36 Crazyfists, Dead To Fall, and In This Moment. The positive feedback and success of the tour encouraged Kittie to extend their tour into May 2007 with Walls of Jericho and In This Moment. (Less) Channel: youtube

The name "Kittie", explained by Morgan Lander:
" When we were thinking of names to call the band before our first show, we had decided that we wanted something completely contradictory to what the band and the sound of the band was. I think we chose Kittie because we wanted something totally unexpected, something that sounded weak, so that when you heard the band for the first time, it would be a total shock. When the band was formed Dijion Carruthers was their drummer and Greg Handevidt on guitars. They quickly replaced Carruthers with drummer Lee Rausch, recorded a demo and secured a few gigs in the San Francisco Bay area in February, 1984. Handevidt was fired for incompetence (he later formed Kublai Khan) They quickly found second guitarist Kerry King (Slayer (US)), who played Megadeth's first three gigs: February 15th, 18th, and 19th, of 1984.
The band name was selected from a term referring to a million casualties, as a result of Nuclear Fallout. Some senator used the term. The extra "a" was dropped by the band. The name Fallen Angel was considered, as it was the name of a short-lived Dave Mustaine/Matt Kisselstein (bass) project in 1983.
King left later that month when Mustaine wanted him to choose between Megadeth and Slayer (US). Then, Chris Poland was brought in, and more gigs were played, starting on April 15th, 1984. A demo was recorded with this lineup, and then Lee Rausch left (he would later that year show up in Dark Angel (US)), and was replaced by Gar Samuelson. This lineup recorded the first two albums.
There were troubles with Chris Poland. He was replaced with Mike Albert for part of the 1985 tour, and was finally fired in 1987, for stealing Mustaine's guitars and other transgressions (read the lyrics to "Liar" for a somewhat biased but not entirely untrue account), and Gar Samuelson left as well (his parting wasn't entirely amicable either). Chuck Behler came in immediately, and several guitarists were tried out, including Jay Reynolds of Malice (US), who played a few gigs on the 1987 tour, before giving way to Jeff Young. This lineup recorded So Far, So Good... So What, but after a subsequent tour, both Young and Behler were fired.
Nick Menza, Chuck's drum tech, went behind the kit himself in 1989, and the band recorded, as a trio, "No More Mister Nice Guy", an Alice Cooper cover for the Shocker soundtrack. After tryouts that included Darrell Roberts (W.A.S.P.) and a 16 year old Jeff Loomis (Nevermore (US)), Marty Friedman of Cacophony was hired in February of 1990, and this lineup lasted for about 8 years and produced four albums and most of the songs on an EP, before Nick Menza left due to a knee injury.
Jimmy DeGrasso (of Y&T and White Lion) was brought in, and Risk was recorded. Then, Marty Friedman left, citing a desire to play Japanese pop music, while Mustaine wanted to return to heavy metal. Thus, Al Pitrelli of Savatage, as well as Trans-Siberian Orchestra and C.P.R. joined the band. A new album, The World Needs A Hero, was recorded and a tour with Iced Earth launched afterwards.
Dave Mustaine, citing an arm injury that left him unable to play guitar effectively, left Megadeth in April 2002, and the band was dissolved. It is rumoured that Ellefson, Menza and Friedman are cooperating on a project together, and of course rumours of a Megadeth reformation are constant, as Dave Mustaine is just a little unpredictable.
And, as it turns out, he was. On January 13, 2004, Dave Mustaine, following his alleged "religious awakening," announced his plans to re-form Megadeth with former guitarist Chris Poland. Unfortunately, Dave Ellefson, Al Pitrelli and Jimmy DeGrasso did not want to rejoin and went back to working on their other projects, and forming their own band, which is now auditioning vocalists. Dave Ellefson has also joined Soulfly. (Less) Channel: youtube

Lyrics:
This day feels like heaven to me
Everything is all wrapped up in gold
So what oh what I want to tell you
Love has made me everything but bold
Tangled up within which means
I'm melted by the fire in your eyes
If you only knew this feeling love is stealing
Through me and it leave me blind
And it feels like fallin'
Oh I hear it calling me away
Sitting on my windowsill
And suddenly the world is still
Because you looked my way
Because you looked my way
Say your name just so I hear it
Wonder if you're somewhere saying mine
My head is in the clouds
And I'm spinning somewhere in the sands of time
Lying in the sun I taste your kiss
But know it's only in my head
And logic doesn't matter 'cause my sanity
Is hanging by your thread
And it feels like fallin'
Oh I hear it calling me away
Sitting on my windowsill
And suddenly the world is still
Because you looked my way
Because you looked my way
I don't know, Where I'm going
How I got here, All I know
Is that I need you here to hold me
Been waiting for the sky to fall
But miracles are few and far between
Last night I thought I saw you
But it turns out you were only in my dream
All the magic turns to dust
And all the silver stars rust when you're not there
And the money in my pocket don't mean nothin'
If there's not someone to share
And it feels like fallin'
Oh I hear it calling me away
Sitting on my windowsill
And suddenly the world is still
Because you looked my way
And it feels like fallin'
Oh I hear it calling me away
Sitting on my windowsill
And suddenly the world is still

Now we have many SUVs but those Jeeps are still just fun to drive! A receiver hitch on your Jeep will allow you to tow a trailer, think boats or jet skis, use a cargo carrier for extra cargo room or use a hitch mounted bike rack. However you like to spend your down time a hitch will help make it more enjoyable. This video shows us installing a custom fit receiver on a Cherokee. The hitch was designed to make the process as easy as possible so no drilling is required. Take a minute to watch it, we are sure afterwards you will be calling to place your order!
Today we are going to show you part number 87591 on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee. This install also works with part number 75054. First up on the install is to inspect the vehicle. On these Jeep Cherokees a lot of times the frame will have these strip with bolt holes inside. They will rust out rather fast. What we need to do is clean out these bolt holes. There are 3 of them here. We will get those cleaned out so we can get our bolts in easier. Also back here in the muffler bracket there is a bolt here we must remove. Sometimes that can be kind of a pain too. Just take a breaker bar and break it loose, it should be alright. Just to give you a little background it took us around a half an hour to clean those out. So take your time on cleaning those out.
To show you how we clean those bolts out basically we spray it down with some WD40 and get one our bolts and just start it. Sometimes we got it started and sometimes we did not. If we could not get it to start we used a wire brush from a battery terminal cleaner kit. We brushed it a few times and then sprayed again to try and get all of the dirt out of there. As long as we got it started we just worked it in and out like that. The next thing we need to do is get that bolt out. We use our breaker bar to break it loose then we will just ratchet it the rest of the way. The reason we had to take that bolt off is we needed to get the muffler bracket down so we can get the steel of the hitch sitting flat on the steel right here. This little dip was not too much but this heat shield will not be that big of a deal. So we will go ahead and pull this down and we will put our hitch right there between those two pieces. Then we will start to install the hitch.
Our next step is to get the drivers side prepared. What we need to do is pull some bolts that go here and then down. We also have these blocks that go inside as well. The blocks have to be in a special order of orientation actually. Then put the plates in position like this. There is a different one for the middle here. It is very important to line up these blocks so your bolts will all stick in a straight line. You know if your bolt is pointed straight down you have got your block orientated correctly. If you get one of the blocks put in crooked you can manipulate it with the bolt. You can tilt it to the side and push up. Sometimes you have to stick with it and spin it the way you want it. Other times you have to use a screw driver. The last block will set like this. On our last hole here we have a separate attachment using the handle nut. It will work like so. We will have to do that with the hitch in place we will save that for one of our last steps. At this point we can start hanging our hitch up there. We will drive in the ones in the passenger side underneath the muffler bracket. We use that to hold the hitch up while we fanaggle the other bolts on the driver side. We have our hitch temporary installed on the driver side so we will go back to the passenger side and start installing our bolts. We got our bolt started, we are going to snug this one up to bring the rest of the plate back down to poke through the holes. We need to back up just a few turns we still need some flexibility.
While we are on the subjects of bolts and the frame, there is something you want to remember about this kit, it actually uses two different types bolts. The bolt I am pointing at here on the left is the 8 point 8 it is actually a metric nut and bolt. It will fit the weld nuts on the frame. Here on the bolt to the right side, it says J.H. and has three hash mark. That means it is an American threaded bolt. That would fit the hitch hardware that came with the handle nut.

(More) Later on in the show. Very touching song.
You say time is a heathen,
The seasons come and go.
But now that you've got nothing but time on your hands,
Why do the nights go by so slow?
Every dream you've dreamt, (?)
Every race you've run.
Is a whisper now, like a distant rumor,
As your body slowly comes undone.
Carry-Anne, Carry-Anne,
Holding out for a miracle.
These conversations are strange to me,
We're talking back, you're already gone.
We come to the end of this visiting hour,
And all I can do is sing this song.
If you hear clapping tunes and courtesies, (?)
It's our helplessness in the sky.
We talk about the weather and shuffle our feet,
'Cause nobody wants to say good bye.
Carry-Anne, Carry-Anne,
Holding out for a miracle.
Dust to dust,
It all turns to rust.
Carry-Anne.
Come the time,
Together we'll drink that wine.
Carry-Anne.
Carry-Anne, Carry-Anne,
Carry-Anne, Carry-Anne,
Holding out for a miracle. (Less) Channel: youtube
