He led a band presenting a combination of jazz, hokey comedy, and schmaltzy sentimentality that was a hit with the American public. He was known by the moniker "Mr. Entertainment". Born in Circleville, Ohio, Lewis was one of the first Northern musicians to start imitating the New Orleans jazz musicians who came up to New York in the teens. He first recorded in 1917 with Earl Fuller's Jass Band, who were making an energetic if somewhat clumsy attempt to copy the sound of the city's newest sensation, the Original Dixieland Jass Band. At the time, Lewis didn't seem to be able to do much on the clarinet other than trill. He improved a bit later, forming his style from the influences of the first New Orleans clarinetists to reside in New York, Larry Shields, Alcide Nunez, and Achille Baquet. By 1919 Lewis was leading his own band, and had a recording contract with Columbia Records, which marketed him as their answer to the Original Dixieland Jass Band who recorded for Victor records. At the start of the 1920s he was considered by many people without previous knowledge of jazz (that is to say, most of America) to be one of the leading lights of hot jazz. Lewis's clarinet playing never evolved beyond his style of 1919 which in later years would sound increasingly corny, but Lewis certainly knew what good clarinet playing sounded like, for he hired musicians like Benny Goodman, Jimmy Dorsey, and the wonderful Don Murray to play clarinet in his band. For years his band also included jazz greats Muggsy Spanier on trumpet and George Brunis on trombone. Ted Lewis's band was second only to the Paul Whiteman in popularity during the 1920s, and arguably played more real jazz with less pretension than Whiteman, especially in his recordings of the late 1920s. Lewis's band got schmaltzier as the Great Depression wore on, and Lewis adopted a battered top hat for sentimental, hard-luck tunes (he called himself "the high-hatted tragedian of song"). But this seemed to match the general public's taste, as he kept commercially successful during an era when many bands broke up. Through it all he retained his famous catchphrase, "Is everybody happy?" Frequently he would stray from song lyrics, improvising chatter around them. This gave the effect of Lewis "speaking" the song: "When ma' baby... when ma' baby smiles at me... gee, what a wonderful, wonderful light that comes to her eyes... look at that light, folks..." This freelance attitude to the tunes' music line and the text pushes him out -- in opinion of many historians of jazz -- of the serious debate of the era... (Less) Channel: youtube

Description: In a dream I was a werewolf
My soul was filled with crystal light
Lavender ribbons of rain sang
Ridding my heart of mortal fight
Broken sundown fatherless showdown
Gun hip swollen lip (More) In a dream I was a werewolf
My soul was filled with crystal light
Lavender ribbons of rain sang
Ridding my heart of mortal fight
Broken sundown fatherless showdown
Gun hip swollen lip bottle sip yeah i suck dick
Loose grip on gravity falls sky blinding crumbling walls
River sweep away my memories of
Children's things a young mother's love
Before the yearning song of flesh on flesh
Young hearts burst open wounds bleed fresh
A young brother skinny and tall my older walks
Oceanward and somber, slumber sleeping
Flowers in the water, but I'm just his daughter
Walking down an icy grave leading to my
Schizophrenic father. Weeping willow won't you wallow louder
Searching for my father's power
I'm a shake you off though
Get up on that horse and
Ride into the sunset
Look back with no remorse
He's a black magic wielder some say a witch
Wielded darkness when he was wilein' on his mom's
And born child and he was the bastard the that broke
Up the marriage evil doer doing evil from a baby carriage
And he was born with the same blue eyes
Crystal ships dripping with ice, diamonds coruscate
In the night fireworks electric bright
And now he's got his own two sons
Trys to hide his tears in a world of fun
But loveless bedrooms filled with doom
Bring silent heartache July to June
Swoon over new young hot flame
Mourn the memories later
Laugh now alligator
In a dream my father came to me
And made me swear that I'd keep
What's sacred to me
And if i get the choice to live in his name
I'll pray my way through the rain
Singing oh happy day
I don't mean to close the door
But for the record my heart is sore
You blew through me like bullet holes
Left stains on my sheets and stains on my soul
You left me broke down begging for change
Had to catch a ride with a man who's deranged
He had your hands and my father's face
Another western vampire
Different time same place
I has dreams that brings me sadness
Rain much deeper than a river
Sorrow flow through me
Tiny waves of shivers
Corny movies make me reminisce
They break me down easy on this generic love shit
First kiss frog and princess
I'm a shake you off though
Get up on that horse and
Ride into the sunset
Look back with no remorse

A Sinner's Confession
[DAWN:]
I was born in a time when the world was still free
I know not really when, where or why
Born a king child, but on the same day
It is told you could hear the land cry
Blood boiling like the core of this world
With which I was one
Before I turned into ice
And my back to the sun
Yes before I turned my back to the sun
[THE CHILD IN THE SUN:]
Growing up I lived and learned
With wings like the bird I flew
Crownprince of paradise
Soon to claim the throne
Then at last as a grown man I stood
So fiercely proud, an electrified semi-god
Ready to reign, greedy to gain
[THE MAN IN THE MOON:]
Staring at the moon I felt a shiver
No longer just a beast
But the man in the moon came down too soon
Chaos from the West to the East
Although knowing I was not prepared
I never questioned the use of my lore
Leaving behind the days of yore
Forever wanting more
I defy my gods -- I don't need them
Holy science -- take me to heaven (and hell)
With sacred right I shall conquer and rule
Slay the heathen questioning fools
Be thou foreign or kin thou shalt never be safe
Nothing shall stand in my concrete way
Upon myself I bestow the crown, I am the master
[DUSK:]
Decadence, decline, degeneracy
Broken and aged I now stand
Awaiting the revenge of the land
Looking at paradise destroyed
On my way into the void
Crying out to the gods
As my heart and pride breaks
Would take a thousand Floods
To wash off my mistakes
Turn back the clock that never runs late
Grant me thy knowledge
My free will has failed
Thief! Murderer! Rapist! Blasphemer!
Not so fiercely proud
Not so fiercely proud
Can I hope for forgiveness
Do you recall your darkest son

Left the girls of Tuam, Nearly broken hearted,
Saluted me father dear, Kissed me darling mother,
Drank a pint of beer, My grief and tears to smother,
Then off to reap the corn, And leave where I was born,
Cut a stout blackthorn, To banish ghost and goblin,
In a brand new pair of brogues, go rattling o'er the bogs,
Frightening all the dogs, On the rocky road to Dublin.
One, two, three, four, five
In Mullingar last night, I rested limbs so weary,
Started by daylight, Next morning bright and early,
Took a drop of the pure, To keep my heart from sinking,
That's the Paddy's cure, When he's on the drinking.
See the lassies smile, Laughing all the while,
At me darling style, 'Twould set your heart a-bubbling.
Asked me was I hired, The wages I required,
Till I was almost tired, Of the rocky road to Dublin.
One, two, three, four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da!
In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity,
To be so soon deprived, A view of that fine city.
Decided to take a stroll, All among the quality,
My bundle it was stole, In a neat locality;
Something crossed my mind, When I looked behind;
No bundle could I find, Upon me stick a wobbling.
Enquiring for a rogue, They said me Connacht brogue,
Wasn't much in vogue, On the rocky road to Dublin.
One, two, three, four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da!
From there I got away, Me spirits never failing
Landed on the quay just as the ship was sailing;
Captain at me roared, Said that no room had he,
then I jumped aboard, A cabin found for Paddy,
Down among the pigs played some funny rigs,
Danced some hearty jigs, The water round me bubbling,
When off to Holyhead, Wished myself was dead,
Or better far instead, On the rocky road to Dublin.
One, two, three, four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da!
The boys of Liverpool, When we safely landed,
Called meself a fool; I could no longer stand it;
Blood began to boil, Temper I was losing,
Poor old Erin's isle They began abusing,
"Hurrah my soul," sez I, Let the shillelagh fly;
Some Galway boys were nigh, Saw I was a hobbling,
With a loud hurray, They joined me in the fray.
Soon we cleared the way, O'er the rocky road to Dublin.

Enjoy! God bless you all! GEERUP
LYRICS- NEWSBOYS
I dunno nothing that I haven't been taught,
I dunno why I was born into the family I've got,
I dunno if I ever had an original thought,
maybe not, maybe so, maybe later, I dunno
I dunno how I can end a prayer, then turn on a friend,
I dunno what I was thinking when I just pressed send,
I dunno why I still criticize the things I dunno
I dunno, I dunno, I dunno, but this one thing I know
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I'm just a broken machine
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, it's all a mindless routine
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I'm in another free fall
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I've got nothing at all
I dunno what goes down the moment we die
Do we get halos & harps? Do we sleep? Do we fly? I dunno
how, when and why this world will finally end,
Speculation's gonna grow, who knows best, I dunno
I dunno if I should push ahead or stop and grieve,
I lie awake and wonder how to make a city believe,
I dunno when it's a ministry and when it's a show
maybe neither, maybe both, I dunno, but this one thing I know
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I'm just a broken machine
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your touch I'm not a full human being
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
If I should ever leave, where would I go?
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
I look to you 'cause you're the lover of my soul
HERE'S TO THE LOVER OF MY SOUL
HERE'S TO THE LOVER OF MY SOUL
I dunno when to walk away or stand and fight
just when I've got it wrong, I'm sure I heard you right
and when my arguments are watertight you expose every hole with a flash and a flood and I know
I hear you call in the eye of the storm and I know you've had my back since the day I was born still
stoking my heart
still stirring my head
you're my pillar of fire
you're the wine, you're the bread, and
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I'm just a broken machine
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, it's all a mindless routine
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I'm in another free fall
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
Without your love, I've got nothing at all
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
I dunno nothing that I haven't been taught, I dunno why I was born into the family I've got,
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
I dunno if I ever had an original thought, maybe not, maybe so, maybe soon, maybe later, I dunno
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
I dunno when I've got it right or wrong, I dunno how I can wrap it in a four minute song, but I know
YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN LIFE
My grip is better when I'm not hanging on, your love is making us strong (all along)

Lyrics: She walks to school with a lunch she packed nobody knows what she's holding back; wearing the same dress (More) Ok, don't know where I got the courage to do this, hehe, but here it is. Lyrics: She walks to school with a lunch she packed nobody knows what she's holding back; wearing the same dress she wore yesterday, she hides the bruises with the linen and lace ohhhhh The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask, it's hard to see the pain behind the mask; bearing the burdon of a secret storm, sometimes she wishes she was never born; Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone, in a world that she can't rise above; but her dreams give her wings, and she flies to a place where she's loved. Concrete Angel Somebody cries in the middle of the night, the neighbors hear but they turn out the lights; a fragile soul caught in the hands of fate, when morning comes it will be too late. Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above; but her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved. Concrete Angel A statue stands in a shaded place, an angel girl with an upturned face; her name is written on a polished rock, a broken heart that the world forgot. Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above; but her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved. (Less) Channel: youtube

Women, there are other options. Across the country and the world there are crisis pregnancy centers such as All Babies Cherished. A google search brings up many acredited help centers. Please listen to your heart. If only we all could look at other human beings no matter their race, health, sex, ability, etc. and say, "You are a human being. I acknowledge that you are alive and that you have the same right to live as I have. Though I may not understand you, I respect you as a fellow human on this planet trying to overcome adversity just as I am, trying to find happiness just as I am, crying and laughing just as I am, and above all else and most importantly you are alive just as I am alive." My mother's life was not destroyed when, at 19 years old, she chose to give birth to me instead of having an abortion as many suggested. They suggested this so that she could start a life free of a physically and verbally abusive relationship, avoid being a single parent, go to college, have a career and get remarried and have children with a man she loved. Though life was not easy for her (whose life is?) she choose to let me continue living. Now I am 20, older than she was when she had me. She is remarried and has just graduated from college (she went back to school to be a teacher). Maybe you will say that this is the extreme case and all women will not eventually be able to fulfill their dreams like she did, but I am here and alive to say that it is possible. This little baby is a gift to you and you are a gift to him or her. Your lives flow together...all you have to decide is whether or not you will cut short that life inside you. To all you girls and women out there who are pregnant, life is not over when you give life to your baby; it's just beginning in a new and different way. Peace. Before we try to "save" those babies by killing them, maybe we should think of the beauty of their life, of the love of their friends, and their future impact on the world. Are the children with the above "conditions" who live outside of the womb, who are newborns, toddlers, teens, etc less worth to live because their lives seem much "harder" than our own. How many of us can really say they should not be alive? A tough family situation, a handicap, having HIV or a pre-natal addiction to drugs does not doom a person's life...Are we willing to tell all those people who have been born "abnormal" that they don't deserve to live or that their life is not as worthy or meaningful as our own? That it would have been better that they hadn't been born? I believe those people would disagree. I see myself in you In everything you do And when you're all alone at night You know I am by your side Cuz I'm there too I see me in your eyes And I'm tears you cry And when you fall apart And I'm dying from a broken heart I'm there too I see your footsteps in the sand As you journey on across this land But if you should fall on your way Then I will carry you that day Cuz I'm there I'm there too Yeah I'm there too I see your face in mine And I know there'll come a time When you will take my hand And I will understand That you're there too When you will take my hand And I will understand That you're there You're there too (Less) Channel: youtube

You shall not find me (2x) From the east to the west. The north into the south. You shall not find me (2x) Ill run forever. Till you're blinded in your sight. You shall not find me (2x) This world has swallowed me up whole. These words will never get through the door. I've been to blame for everything. This sin will never be washed clean. Cause I've let you down once again. You wanted me to speak truths, but instead I've lived sins. I stand before you as weak as can be. I'm so sorry and hope you can forgive me. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your grace. Thank you. Praise you. For you have shown me a love. A love that shall never come undone. I've tried my best, but you've done much more. These words will get through the door. (Less) Channel: youtube

One, two, three, four, five In Mullingar last night, I rested limbs so weary, Started by daylight, Next morning bright and early, Took a drop of the pure, To keep my heart from sinking, That's the Paddy's cure, When he's on the drinking. See the lassies smile, Laughing all the while, At me darling style, 'Twould set your heart a-bubbling. Asked me was I hired, The wages I required, Till I was almost tired, Of the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four, five Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da! In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity, To be so soon deprived, A view of that fine city. Decided to take a stroll, All among the quality, My bundle it was stole, In a neat locality; Something crossed my mind, When I looked behind; No bundle could I find, Upon me stick a wobbling. Enquiring for a rogue, They said me Connacht brogue, Wasn't much in vogue, On the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four, five Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da! From there I got away, Me spirits never failing Landed on the quay just as the ship was sailing; Captain at me roared, Said that no room had he, then I jumped aboard, A cabin found for Paddy, Down among the pigs played some funny rigs, Danced some hearty jigs, The water round me bubbling, When off to Holyhead, Wished myself was dead, Or better far instead, On the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four, five Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da! The boys of Liverpool, When we safely landed, Called meself a fool; I could no longer stand it; Blood began to boil, Temper I was losing, Poor old Erin's isle They began abusing, "Hurrah my soul," sez I, Let the shillelagh fly; Some Galway boys were nigh, Saw I was a hobbling, With a loud hurray, They joined me in the fray. Soon we cleared the way, O'er the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four, five Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da! One, two, three, four, five Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road and all the way to Dublin, whack-fol-la-de-da! (Less) Channel: youtube

I found the Lyrics! This is what happens when I experiment with Japanese music. _______________________________________ Square Enix - Kingdom Hearts Videos from - KH-vids.net Song - Colors of The Heart _______________________________________ Lyrics On that day, My heart crumbled in silence Even though I scream at being broken, Inerasable memories and Darkness flow into my eyes And I sink into tomorrow Whose colors can't even be seen anymore I searched endlessly for the day of reconciliation Only for the sake of losing it, I will live for the present Even when it is useless and I embrace solitude alone IF YOU TURN OFF THE LIGHTS... I will shine towards them "Feelings continuously filled with wishes will someday create colors", that's what I've been taught To be a person who continues to live with this in the heart Because COLORS are born within anything and everything inevitable I will paint tomorrow once more with these hands I, who goes unnoticed, am even used to losing things Even the things which were placed into my hands slipped through my fingers Before my tears dry up, the words which I wanted to hear Are now for the sake of saving someone (IT'S ALL YOUR FATE! YOU GONNA DO THAT!) "If light becomes stronger, darkness will also become deeper" Even if I realized that, I have nothing to fear Because COLORS are born at the end of just about any kind of heart My eyes are already open because we were gazing at each other The BREATH of sadness, I was searching for that to stain it in colors Without raising a sound "Feelings continuously filled with wishes will someday create colors", that's what I've been taught To be a person who continues to live by this in the heart Because COLORS are born within anything and everything inevitable They will illuminate once more with the fingertips of light JUST DRAWING.....COLORS IN LIGHT AND DARKNESS AND TAKE IT.....COLORS IN LIGHT AND DARKNESS Now, the gentle colors which could not be reached With these hands, I will use them to paint and fix everything again (Less) Channel: youtube
