Description: Het nummer "But It's Better If You Do" is het tweede nummer wat in Nederland is uitgebracht van het debuutalbum "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" uit 2005 van de amerikaanse (More) Het nummer "But It's Better If You Do" is het tweede nummer wat in Nederland is uitgebracht van het debuutalbum "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" uit 2005 van de amerikaanse punkrockband "Panic! At The Disco"... zij komen uit "Las Vegas", "Nevada", en worden vaak tot de "emocore-stijl" gerekend... hun muziek bevat ook wat techno-invloeden en theatrale elementen... het debuutalbum kwam in de amerikaanse hitlijst "Billboard 200" doordat er ongeveer 800.000 (!!!) cd's van waren verkocht... very impressive...!!! Het album (inmiddels platinum...!!!) is verdeeld in tweeen: de eerste zeven nummers bevatten futuristische instrumenten, zoals synthesizers en drummachines, en vanaf nummer 9 zijn de nummers gemaakt door traditionele instrumenten, zoals accordeons en piano... Track 8 bevat beide typen muziek, beginnend met een techno-style dance beats en daarna met de piano, waardoor het een brug vormt tussen de twee stijlen... De band is opgericht door de twee schoolvrienden "Spencer Smith" (drums) en "Ryan Ross" (gitaar) die in hun schooltijd samen covers speelden van nummers van "Blink-182"... daarnaast bestaat de band uit "Brendon Urie" (gitaar/zang) en "Jon Walker" (basgitaar)... hun naam ontleenden zij aan het nummer "Panic!" van de band "Name Taken", een "Indie Rock-band uit "Orange County", Californie, die in 2005 is opgehouden te bestaan... de bandleden vertelden echter altijd aan de pers dat ze hun naam ontleend hadden aan het nummer "Panic" van "The Smiths", dit was makkelijker omdat niet veel mensen van "Name Taken" hadden gehoord... Om hun muziek te promoten namen ze contact op met "Pete Wentz", de bassist van "Fall Out Boy", via "LiveJournal" en stuurden ze hem een link naar hun eigen "PureVolume"-website... "Wentz" was blijkbaar zo onder de indruk van ze, dat hij meteen het vliegtuig nam en naar "Las Vegas" afreisde om de band in persoon te ontmoeten...!!! Nadat hij ze had zien optreden in hun eigen garage, vroeg hij ze meteen of ze een platencontract wilden tekenen bij zijn "Fueled by Ramen" 'imprint- label' genaamd "Decaydance"... en een goede nieuwe rockband was een feit...!!!
