Completing a random battle may only net you about 40,000 on average at the most (when defeating level 99 enemies) taking maybe 30 minutes to do so (5 if you can easily one-hit the enemies). I get this much in barely a minute and a half making it roughly 3 to 20 times faster. This is also useful in that it is a very easy way to level up, so quick that you'd get one character to level 99 within barely 5 to 8 hours' total gameplay if you're fast! I began doing this as a way to quickly gain JP for those jobs I had little use for in battle (the dancer especially which is completely useless when all the enemies are sleepyheads along with the lancer (no spears) and calculator (outrageously slow and HP weak). I often go from near 0 available JP to 9999, enough to master any job, learning all of its abilities (and having the others quickly learn many as well, often with 2000 to even 5000 JP to spend for that job (even though they weren't)). The video is nearly 40 minutes and has been split up into multiple segments. I only included the key or important components of the otherwise 3-hour video so you'll see and hear skips. There are two useful formulas. "CharacterLevel*CharacterSpeed = GilTaken" - determines the amount of gil the "gil taking" command will get. "SumOfAllEnemyLevelsWhenDefeated*100 = BonusMoneyEarned" - determines the amount of "bonus money" received after completing a battle. For the fourth and final part, the two that are "thiefing" the chickens make even 4 actions (for 19,800 gil) after one of the others go. You can get a good hint of this by looking at the AT list as shown at the start. Both Jorge (the thief) and Matilda (the wizard) are about the only things you really see on that list with rare oddballs. Now that is fast and easy gil. Remain at it for as long as you want, but much beyond 4 hours is not recommended as you never know when a power outage may strike. Keep in mind that, for every 25 or so minutes you remain at it, you'll have gained about a million gil (provided you keep at a fast pace). After a while, I get the monk, who was restoring MP (and accumulating a lot), to defeat the enemies. After defeating the first one, 14 steals are made before the monk goes again, which is easily 69,300 gil in what, 3 minutes (from 2:06.73 to 5:01.43)? I get 18,300 in bonus money (obtained in under a minute (40 seconds typically)) from the battle and afterwards, I show you my general progress and a possible class 2 bug I seemed to have found with the "summoner" job which isn't mastered even though everything is learned. A class 1 bug involves saving where the hours value is misleading (normally, 99:59:59 would show for this case). I know of many class 0 and 1 bugs, some 3's but nothing higher so far. (Less)

For the first part, I show the amount of play time, where I'm at in the story (practically the beginning), and set up a random battle so this can be used. In the battle, I use my usual routine/setup I've been using since level 60. Because the enemies can defeat the magic users in one hit, and enemies have close to even triple the HP as they do, I developed tricks to work around this. These tricks are used right away in the battle. The "faith" status effect makes enemies (and characters) very susceptible to magic attacks and makes magic more effective. The enemies here aren't magic users so it is entirely advantageous, the first step. Beyond this, it's preventing them from taking action. The "don't move" and "frog" spells are especially the most useful followed by "sleep" after they've been disabled. At the end, I start getting the thief going at it. I'm otherwise not much of a magic user and prefer the basic "attack" command over magic. (Less)
