Description: Los Talibanes(The Taliban) were a Mexican Lucha Libre Trio that consisted of Emilio Charles Jr.(Leader), Bestia Salvaje, and Scorpio Jr. Prior to becoming The Taliban, the Trio was known as Los (More) Los Talibanes(The Taliban) were a Mexican Lucha Libre Trio that consisted of Emilio Charles Jr.(Leader), Bestia Salvaje, and Scorpio Jr. Prior to becoming The Taliban, the Trio was known as Los Guapos but they "lost the rights" to the name in a "name match" at Arena Mexico against their bitter rival, Shocker. The lost caused the former Guapos to find a different name and a different gimmick - and boy did they find one! Shortly after losing their "name match" to Shocker, the former Guapos found themselves very, very, lonely up until the point where they all find Allah and "convert" to Islam! Their sudden "convertion" to Islam featured them in several Comedic skits including one where they all "officially" convert to Islam as well as one Comedic Skit where try to find their Camels in the very populated Federal District of Mexico. Once the former Guapos "converted" to Islam and became The Taliban, they vowed to get revenge on Shocker and his then newly formed Guapos U Group which consisted of Shocker(Leader), Mascara Magica, and the then Rookie, El Terrible. Both Trios would battle it out for the next two years with their feud finally culminating in a Trios Cage match in which El Terrible won the hair of Taliban Member, Bestia Salvaje. Unfortunately for The Taliban, this would be their ONLY "high-profile" feud as The Taliban in CMLL. And once this feud with Shocker and his Guapos U Group concluded, The Taliban were relegated to both lower and midcard status in the CMLL Promotion. The Taliban would eventually split with everyone going their seperate ways.... Emilio Charles went on his own as a Singles Luchador while continuing to use his Taliban Entrance Gear and Theme Music, Scorpio Jr. briefly joined Pierroth Jr.'s Comando Caribeno(Carribbean Commando) as the Character, Sadam, and Bestia Salvaje became an Independent Luchador Wrestling mostly throughout the Guadalajara State area. WHERE ARE THEY NOW? . Emilio Charles Jr. continues to Wrestle in the CMLL Promotion as a lower to midcard Luchador that feuds and puts over younger up-and-coming Luchadores in the CMLL. . Scorpio Jr. is has been Wrestling for the AAA Promotion since early 2006. He's currently the leader of the Universidad de Los Guapos V.I.P. . Bestia Salvaje unfortunately passed way on March 20th, 2008 due to Kidney Failure. His last "high-profile" match took place in 2007 when he would lose his hair to Americo Rocca. (Less)
