Everytime you get hit, you lose a certain amount of points. I believe the amount of points you lose depends on the amount of damage you take too. So being level 1, a good combo or two will end the entire cup. You cannot use Drives, and Sora is once again alone. Your saving grace this time is the use of Summons. It is the only realistic way of getting through the cup. Some matches will tear you to shreds without a Summon. With that said, I'd highly suggest having Summons up to LV7.
Round 1: Warm up match. Use the Reaction Command against the Magnum Loaders, and just combo the Dusks. You shouldn't have a hard time. Magnega if you want.
Round 2: The Morning Star can be tricky. Whip out a Summon. I prefer Genie and his Final Form Limit. Use two of them and you'll take out at least the Morning Star. If you're lucky you'll take out some Assassins too.
Round 3: Berserkers are tough. Magnega/Magnet Splash them and grab their Claymores. Use them on both of the Berserkers and keep repeating until they die. Try not to mess up or you'll deal with their ultimate attack.
Round 4: Annoying round. Summons will work wonders. Just make sure your MP is full for the next round.
Round 5: The Dancers will one hit kill you, and the Neoshadoes are pretty tough too. However, Magnega + Thundaga will take them out easily. Again, make sure you have at least half HP before ending the fight.
Round 6: You WILL get killed here if you don't start with Magnega. After Magnega, use a Summon, preferably Genie, and Magnega them again while you choose one of his Limits. One Limit will kill most of them. Do whatever you want with the rest.
Round 7: Nightmare match. Magnega + Thundaga + Magnega + Summon + Limit, or something like that. Don't let those Crimson Jazzs' attack if you want to win.
Round 8: This is slightly easier. Either Magnega all you can or use a Summon.
Round 9: Use a Summon right away. The enemies here will decimate you before you can blink if you try to attack them head on. Once you kill most of them one Limit it gets easier.
Round 10: Hercules is rather easy. I played it safe, but you can be a little more agressive. Just watch out for the boulders dropping down. They are rather annoying.
Tough cup. If you're not used to no damage fights, you will have lots of trouble. Same if you don't use Summons often, as that's really the only way to beat it at LV1. Regardless, next I'm going to CoR. Not doing Goddess of Fate/Destiny cup yet.

A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.

Winning matches increases the time, but not by much, so you must be fast. Limits and Summons are blocked, (More) Next up, Cerberus Cup. This cup gives you a time limit. If you run out of time, you lose. Winning matches increases the time, but not by much, so you must be fast. Limits and Summons are blocked, however, Drives are not, and your Drive Gauge fills insanely fast. You can do this a few different ways. Wisdom Form or Final Form is the way to go. Thundaga is a great spell to shortcut. Apul recommends having Shockcharms equipped. I don't have any, so I equipped Tron's Keyblade in Final Form's slot to boost Thundaga. Rumbling Rose was my main keyblade because 3 finishers helps. Apul used Wisdom Form most of the time, I used Final Form to make it different.
Round 1: Be patient. The Air Pirates will most likely dash at you with their RC move. Use Reflega once or twice to block the orbs from the Ghosts. After the Reaction Command from the Air Pirates, go into a Drive and destroy them.
Round 2: Magnega + Thundaga. Couldn't be easier. Just don't blow all your MP yet. So it's okay to air combo the Hammer Frames that survive.
Round 3: Magnega + Thundaga. By now you'll probably be out of Form Gauges or close to it, so I'd suggest reverting to kill the surviving Heartless. Your gauge will fill up VERY fast.
Round 4: The Living Bone will tear you to shreds. So lock on it soon as possible and use the Reaction Command from the Silver Rocks to knock it up high in the air. Air combo it on the way down, and your Drive Gauges will fill right back up. I'd suggest going Final Form or Wisdom Form before killing it.
Round 5: 90% joke match. Hopefully you went into a Drive before the previous match ended or that Shaman is going to annoy the crap out of you. If in a drive, Magnega + Thundaga will kill them all. Make sure you don't let that Shaman attack or you're going to be getting blue flames up the ass.
Round 6: Magnega + Thundaga. If you're low on MP, use an Ether. You'll want MP for the next match.
Round 7: Easy, if not for the Toy Soldier Heartless. It's immune to Magnega. But kill the cannon Heartless first. If the Toy Solider is just sitting there, run up to it and spam Reflega and it'll probably die. If you don't care about wasting MP, Thundaga combing works fine too. I got lucky and caught it in a jump. Didn't stand a chance. :)
Round 8: Luna Bandits will be easy. If I were you, I'd HIGHLY suggest Reverting and building up your Drive Gauge before going onto the next match. At the very last though, have MP. I made the mistake of not paying attention to the gauges on this one.
Round 9: Hardest match in my opinion. Those Emerald Blues will destroy you if you don't Magnega them. If you drive into Final Form now though, you'll be fine. Thundaga combing them is the way to go. Same for the Fat Bandit.
Round 10: Cerberus is generally easy, but he has a lot of HP, so you don't have time to screw around. Thundaga combo it to death while Ethering your MP back up. If you have Rumbling Rose, the 3 Thundaga finishers will do lots of damage.
Overall, more challenging than Pain & Panic but still not that bad if you have max leveled Drives. Remember, Wisdom Form and Final Form as the best forms for this fight.

Not doing no damage on this one now either. I'll probably come back to these near the end of my no damage run for the optional fights. It's just I don't really care about these cups that much.

The fact you can spam Limits just makes it TOO (More) Before heading to CoR, I felt like taking on a cup or two. Pain & Panic Cup is the first cup you can do in the game. It's generally pretty easy. The fact you can spam Limits just makes it TOO easy, since Limits use up less MP in this cup. So I wanted to make it a little less boring and took them on without Limits. It's possible to not use Limits AND get no damage, but it's too annoying. So I just stuck with no heal. Round 1: Hook Bats & Shadows. Do whatever you want, Magnet Splash or Magnega. Use the Hook Bat's RC too. Round 2: Magnega the Minute Bombs and destroy them with a Thundaga finisher. Then proceed to smack the Large Body Heartless in the back with combos. Unless you have Combo Pluses equipped, you should be fine. Round 3: Joke match. Magnega + Thundaga and it's over. Round 4: Everyones favorite nightmare Heartless. Hot Rods. Fortunately, Magnega/Magnet Splash work great here. Combo Master lets you do Magnet Splash without hitting an enemy, so use that to save MP. While the Hot Rods are knocked down, go in and combo them until they die. Round 5: Kill the Rapid Thusters. Magnega the second group and then just dodge the Bolt Towers attacks while killing the Hook Bats. Easy round. Round 6: Magnega the Gargoyle Statues so they don't start spinning towards you. Keep Magnet Splashing them and pulling off combos. For the Minute Bombs, Magnet strat again. When the Lancers appear, I'd try to Magnega them. But if you've gone through Vally of the Dead at LV1, then you should already know how to fight these guys anyway. Round 7: Magnega + Thundaga work well. I didn't use it then, and I got hit. The Aeroplanes are pretty good at hitting you, so you could also use Trinity Limit here to kill them. For the Assault Riders, you should know those by now. Magnega/Magnet Splash and then infinitely combo them until they die. More of a reason not to have too many Combo Pluses equipped for this. Round 8: You just have to stay alive for 60 seconds. If the Rapid Thusters come near you to attack, use their Reaction Command and you'll be fine. Round 9: Magnega the Gargoyles and Creeper Plants. If you don't do it to the plants, the second you touch the ground you'll probably get hit. Once you Magnega them they sort of..break. Round 10: Yuffie is annoying. I'd suggest Limits. If not, Reflega works too on Yuffie's spinning attack. Once you beat one of them, the second is easy though. Overall, easy cup. You shouldn't even have to use any items. Just note that you can't use Drives or Summons in this cup. I got a little careless in the last two matches, which is where I got hit the most. But I really don't feel like doing no damage on this right now, but it's pretty easy to do if you use Trinity Limit. Round 6: Magnega the Gargoyle Statues so they don't start spinning towards you. Keep Magnet Splashing them and pulling off combos. For the Minute Bombs, Magnet strat again. When the Lancers appear, I'd try to Magnega them. But if you've gone through Vally of the Dead at LV1, then you should already know how to fight these guys anyway.
Round 7: Magnega + Thundaga work well. I didn't use it then, and I got hit. The Aeroplanes are pretty good at hitting you, so you could also use Trinity Limit here to kill them. For the Assault Riders, you should know those by now. Magnega/Magnet Splash and then infinitely combo them until they die. More of a reason not to have too many Combo Pluses equipped for this.
Round 8: You just have to stay alive for 60 seconds. If the Rapid Thusters come near you to attack, use their Reaction Command and you'll be fine.
Round 9: Magnega the Gargoyles and Creeper Plants. If you don't do it to the plants, the second you touch the ground you'll probably get hit. Once you Magnega them they sort of..break.
Round 10: Yuffie is annoying. I'd suggest Limits. If not, Reflega works too on Yuffie's spinning attack. Once you beat one of them, the second is easy though.
Overall, easy cup. You shouldn't even have to use any items. Just note that you can't use Drives or Summons in this cup. I got a little careless in the last two matches, which is where I got hit the most. But I really don't feel like doing no damage on this right now, but it's pretty easy to do if you use Trinity Limit.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.
Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.
Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.
Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.
Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?

Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.

Cerberus Cup. I HATE time limit fights. Nothing more annoying than not being able to take your time and plan your moves. As you can tell, I barely made it through. I was too lazy to plan out how I would go through all 10 matches, so I just random went into Final Form, spammed Firaga, used Magnega, etc. Thanks to Critical Mode, the Drive Guage regenerates super fast (especially against Cerberus). But as you can see, I still barely won within the time limit. There are probably easier ways to beat this than I did, just too lazy to figure it out.
Also, I accidentally had Ethers on shortcut instead of Potions, so that's why I randomly healed my MP instead of HP a couple times. Didn't notice until after the fight.
Note: This game is Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, not KH2. In Final Mix, if you play on Critical Mode, you start out with a couple abilities (Finishing Plus, MP Hastega, EXP0). So do not comment saying "how is it possible that you got (insert ability here) so early".
