Pusher
The first part of the trilogy follows Frank, a mid-level drug dealer, for a week. It depicts his depravity, how his actions forces him further and further out on thin ice and the bittersweet relationship he has with his girlfriend, Vic.
The movie was a blockbuster, not only in Denmark, but internationally. It was also the movie that launched both Refn's and Mads Mikkelsen's careers.
Pusher II: With Blood on my Hands
The second part of Refn's trilogy, which was made to save his company, Jango Star, from bankruptcy, follow Frank's low-level criminal sidekick, Tonny.
It illustrates how Tonny is rooted in an evil spiral of crime and drugs, his relationship towards his notorious, cynical father and how he adapts to the consequence of being a father himself.
Pusher 3: I Am the Angel of Death
The third and last part of the trilogy, depicts a day in the life of Serbian drug lord Milo.
Milo, who was a feared and respected man in the first two movies, has since aged. He does not have the same grip on the underworld that he used to and is now slowly losing the battle against a younger generation of immigrants, who now want a piece of the action. The film shows Milo's downfall and his desperate attempt to reclaim the throne.

It's too bad the father isn't one of those sitcom bachelors-with-kids designed solely to attract sexually objectified female celebrities on the shows to boost ratings with the perverted masses obsessed with exterior beauty (a concept which in the early 90s was frowned upon, but these days shallow superficiality is once again revered). Unfortunately, B&S were anchored down with the consistent subplot of the Power Rangers interrupting their screentime & were never able to attract Sylvia Plath, Diana Canova, Jane Seymour & Sarah Bernhardt onto the show with them due to time & budget constraints.
Incidentally, "deep throat in [smut] film" is rated a 96.0% relevance by Wikipedia for a search of "famous actresses" which only further strengthens the validity of my cynical point of view.
The fact that the diaper-changing sequence is longer than a minute is to make up for the erroneous lack of B&S in the previous episode (unless I just missed them). Parents (who've declined dignity & aspiration to live vicariously through some hellspawn, usually from their own loins) may complain about people who are squeamish about changing diapers. Why "changing diapers" is a gag on a show directed at violent, sugar-addicted eight-year-old bast--children is a good question. The fact is, nobody likes changing diapers because normal people don't like looking at urine & fecal matter. That's not even a generalization. NORMAL people DON'T like that stuff. At least medical staff have an excuse, though people who cut open other people & move their organs about probably aren't completely normal. But I kid the medical profession!
Bulk uses the phrase "ipso facto" which is Dead Latin for "by that very fact" which is a nonsense phrase that means "therefore". Bulk states that the PRs are strong therefore one of the swimmers might be a PR. Logical fallacy aside, Latin's a dead language which is used to cast magic, identify rude body parts with dignity & keep up pretense of law & order. The last is done by inserting random Latin-sounding lorem ipsum phrases into courtrooms in order to place yet another layer of steaming bullcrap onto jurors who are essentially told to be stupid enough to somehow believe & only judge upon what they hear in court,which is a technical impossibility.
How would B&S fare on MST's Invention Exchange? For those who somehow don't know MST is the original movie riffing service before it ended & was copied later by other wannabe services to be imbued with zeitgeist bullcrap, genitalia & unfunny antisocial nerds endorsing their own hate agendas despite having no professional or comedic validity or talent. Thankfully, Cinematic Titanic might just be what we need for professional, quality movie riffing that won't degenerate into childish racism & a misguided inclusion of (ugh) "guest" riffers who consist of angry sociopathic emo nerds who never forgot that the teachers made them sit outside of the giant parachute in gym class in the fourth grade.
B&S apparently saw "Guys & Dolls" & the populace of Angel Grove are so stupid they'd swim right into a boat. As usual, everything goes perfect for everyone but B&S who seem to be trapped in a shortchanged version of The Truman Show. Like the Christlike/Everyman character played by Jim Carrey they're surrounded by meaningless waves of living stimuli which make when examined. This is the closest to reality we ever get. Bulk and Skull's talent show pretty much sums up any career of 70s-80s progressive rock. And of course, once again Angel Grove relies on the same "different equals bad!" schtick, as well as the "Power Rangers are the Second Coming" where in effect, there is a preemptive prejudice against anything Bulk and Skull do, and the Power Rangers are once again spoiled by comparison. Well, at least Kimberly clapped!
Rolling down hills in barrels is another high point for Bulk and Skull. Once again the Power Rangers coerce them into roughousing, which results in potentially consequential physical distress to Bulk and/or Skull. This is what Bulk and Skull do best (among other things).
Theories abound as to who "Biff" is, and how Bulk and Skull found and convinced this kid to hang around with them. I get the feeling he isn't a younger brother, even if he does dress like and have similar hair to Bulk. If he was related, that would be a chance to throw in a pointless detail, plus if that was the case there would be an obligation to reveal this to the audience. Maybe Bulk and Skull scoured playgrounds in one of their many healthy perambulations and sought out some aggressive demon child (all children are Satan) to do their bidding. All this in the episode where Red Ranger gets eaten whole and then molested with tentacles. See, this show DOES have its great moments! The Bulk and Skull Coach Karate match ends by showing that Bulk and Skull taught Biff to show respect for one's opponent. What a nice sentiment. Now if only the Power Rangers would show Bulk and Skull that same respect.
Video presentations. Is there a school project teachers can come up with that isn't stupid? I guess it's hard to think clearly when you're morbidly underpaid, and when you teach a bunch of little children it must be easy to get delusionally peppy. Of course, these are high school students they're teaching, which means the class has already beome jaded, which ironically would give students and teachers a common ground. That coupled with their mutual denial. Of course, this might sound a little cynical, especially from a background of encountering teachers with sexist/pedophilic tendencies, anger/ego issues, and substance abuse problems. Still, one wonders how that translates into wasting landfills worth of posterboard, believing Power Point is a functional program, and so on. I can sort of see how they don't care how much money students need to blow in order to get even a mediocre grade granted to them, and their perfunctory ignorance about the fact the internet's just an electronic media for books. Too much liquor and porno, I guess, but who can blame them for that when 90% of high school students are ghetto trash whose only understood response to ANY form of stimuli is to stab/shoot/smoke something? Ah, projects. A Sisyphean ordeal through and through. So how many times have YOU made a collage out of Henry Hudson? More than eight yet?
I almost cut out a shot of Jason/Kimberly/Billy shaking their heads, because it was wholly uncalled for. Bulk and Skull haven't even sat down yet and already they're receiving smarmy pretentiousness from their preppy classmates. Bulk shows respect for his teacher, and why shouldn't he? Ms. Appleby has just about as much neurosis as the next "nice" facade archetype teacher, and who can't pity her for that? Maybe what I should've kept in is Trini's video of intentionally-planted pollution. If you want to cut down on pollution, cut down on drunk white trash and corporations. A touching moment is had when Skull propounds to Bulk that they do the scene together, and Bulk consents. And then Bulk and Skull embark upon another classic Jackie Gleason/Art Carney scheme.

The news anchors in Angel Grove always "just got in word". Don't they do any investigating journalism themselves, like other slavering-dog sensationalist media whores? What can be said about Bulk and Skull's Bulk-promoting video? An unevenness in their duality? A strength in their togetherness? The episode ends with the Power Rangers setting up B&S for another pratfall. Only idiots would stack things like that! Where the hell the tire comes from remains a mystery to this day.
