It's about this guy that lives on a McDonald's fast food menu for one month. I guess you could call it the 'Golden Arches Diet'; nothing else but Big Macs, Eggs McMuffins, Chicken McNuggets and greasy fries. This gentleman, being under medical supervision, was almost hospitalized near the end of his little experiment. But, it just goes to show you that things can get worse depending on what you put into your body, mind and spirit. Like junk food, we can feed our heads with mindless mantras of doom 'n gloom.
There are a lot of silly clichés like 'it's not easy growing old' or 'the more we read, the less we know' or 'you can't put toothpaste back in the tube'; all of which are untrue, because the Bible says otherwise. Nothing is impossible for God. For the believing Christian, 'it's gonna get worse before it gets better' is nonsense. 'It's gonna get worse' based on what? Pessimism? Faith in negativity? What's going to get worse exactly? Just things in general? Who says it's going to get worse? Psychics and modern prophets? And what people is it supposed to be getting worse for? Where are these terrible things happening? Why will they happen?
The Law of the kinsman redeemer is found in Leviticus 25:47-55. Here we see the racial aspects of liberation. The redeemer must be a kinsman; "one of his brethren may redeem him . . . or any that is near of kin . . . may redeem him" (vs 48-49). The idea of a kinsman redeemer in Old Testament times was to help someone in poverty who was unable to redeem their inheritance and redeem his relatives from slavery. Besides this gracious act of redemption towards one's own kind, the kinsman redeemer could also preserve the family line of a deceased male relative by marrying his widow and providing an heir (Deut. 25:5-6).
The Law also stated in Leviticus 25:25 "when your brother is reduced to poverty, and sells some of his inheritance, if a relative of his brings the redemption for it, then the purchaser shall restore it to his brother". This was to keep land within a family system of posterity.
Perhaps the most difficult assignment of a kinsman redeemer or as Numbers 35:19 puts it, a 'revenger of blood' or 'avenger' was to slay or execute the murderer of his relative. The avenger of blood as in Joshua 20:5 and elsewhere, is the same Hebrew word ga'al (#1350). This Law of God provided order and swift justice within the Israelite society. Today, the White man is robbed of his God-given manhood to hunt down and kill the murderer of his kin. Capital punishment is biblical. "Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction (ransom, redemption) for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death; but he shall be surely put to death" Numbers 35:31. Verses 33-34 explains the reason; so that the land is not polluted; the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed, except by the blood of him who shed it; God said "defile not the land which you inhabit, where I dwell, for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel."
The Holy Spirit is given to us as a down payment "which is the earnest (pledge) of our inheritance (life), until the redemption of the purchased possession" Eph. 1:13-14. Paul says we are redeemed from our trespasses and so we should not repeat those trespasses again. Paul says in Romans 6:16-18 "don't you know that to whom you yield yourselves slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you become the servants of righteousness." No man can serve 2 masters. The wages of sin brought the loss of our inheritance (life). But because Jesus has redeemed us from the slavemaster sin, we now serve a new master, the redeemer, according to the law of redemption (Lev. 25:53). (Less)

Paul Wellstone's death was eerily similar to the circumstances surrounding the October 2000 plane crash death of another Democratic Senate hopeful, Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan. His plane crashed in bad weather in that state killing him shortly before that year's election. He was elected after his death and his widow was appointed to take his seat.

Just over the wall from the wall can be seen the columbarium or dovecote - see ill. 38, which was built in the time of the Templars but had fallen into disrepair by the time the Hospitallers took over, this is confirmed in an account of the property written by John-de-la-Haye in 1313. Although very feint now, there is a Latin inscription over the door which in The Gentleman's Magazine of 1907, p.635, the Reverend John Webb stated read in abbreviated form: The full version is, " Anno Domini millesimo trecentesimo vicesimo sexto factum fuit istud columbare fratrem Ricardum", which in translation reads, "In the year of our Lord 1326 this dovecote was built by Richard", - see ill. 39, this is thought to be somewhat of an exaggeration and probably means that he repaired the dovecote in 1326. John Webb also remarks that on his visit he also noticed another inscription in the interior of the dovecote which read, "GILBE RTVS", whoever Gilbertus was remains a mystery, perhaps he helped Brother Richard in the restoration of the building? Webb describes other stones carved with, "the double cross of the Templars, accompanied in one instance with the letter R, of the scriptorial form". The upper part of the roof is 'dished' which allowed rainwater to feed through an opening into a round cistern on the floor, this then supplied the pigeons with drinking and washing water, Bond, 2004, p.151. Inside there are 20 tiers each consisting of 33 nesting holes which gives a total of 666 holes.
The Knights Templar were given land in Llangarewi by King Henry II in 1180. The Ministry of Taxation has revealed plans to introduce individual tax numbers for every citizen. The Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church says the project is evil, for the bar code used by tax officials contains the fiendish number, 666. The Synod has proposed that a national electronic language be formed.
