If we examine the lives of our Western brothers we see that in their free times after working they watch TV,go to movies,concerts,casinos ,discotheques,parties, matches, drink alcohol&use drugs .Do those pop groups they watch screaming in a hypnotised manner or the footballers they watch swearing and cursing,free sex,drugs and alcohol really make them happy? Just as the refined&cancerous foods they take like Coca Cola,Mac Donalds,Burger King etc. which have no nutritive values for their bodies, these concerts,matches,movies ,novels,alcohol and drugs in other words paganistic idols actually have negative and almost cancerous effects to their souls. While the hedonism concept from Ancient Greek philosophy in Europe teaches that devotion to these worldly pleasures is the purpose of life ,the Western idea of success has led people to become enslaved to wealth and made people's souls become servant to the dollar bill in an almost absolute sense.The very essence of the Western idea of life and "individualism" is based putting the human intellect before believing in God.In Western society the opinions of t.v. and radio show hosts, musicians, congressmen, and even actors and celebrities are referred to for judgment while the Decision of Allah-God- is disregarded and this is made in the name of "Freedom". The reality is that human beings are worshippers by nature. If the worship of Allah or God is not established in one's life, then one's worship will be directed towards something else. In a system in which the final decisions are referred to human beings, and in which the sources of all authority are human we see constant divorces,common adultery,no births,alcohol and drug addictions and high rates of crime like raping ,child molestation etc. .If we examine the background of this scene we see that after Western people ignored religion in The Middle Ages they began to to take big steps in science and technology but they forgot the needs of their souls. They were not successful in making the balance between science and religion .One thing they did not know also was that after Jesus Christ's messages and Bible was distorted God sent his last prophet Mohammed(PBUH) with the last book again for the happiness of humanity saying"Work for this world as if you are never going to die and work for the Hereafter as if you are going to die tomorrow". Highly educated people like the biggest philosopher of our century Roger Garaudy ,the former chairman of the French Communist Party,or many Western professors and priests have seen this fact that Islam simply is the repetition of God's original message sent before by Jesus, Moses,David, Abraham, Noah like 30.000 people only in the USA converting to Islam each year but still many less or average educated Westerns think that Moslems are terrorists who worship to a black box in Mecca and kiss the ground 5 times a day. Truth hurts but hiding your head in the sand like an ostrich also does not solve any problems.What is the solution now? Allah(CC) say in Kuran that hearts are satisfied only in the remembrance of God. So we have to search happiness inside our hearts which becomes only by praying.
