If you get seizures by watching lots of flashy bright things, step AWAY from the computer and don't watch this. Trust me, you're not missing much. I also do not own this song. It is the first ending theme song to Angelic Layer, my favorite song around this period in time, and still a great song. I am actually quite embarrassed to put this up. A lot of people are putting up their old videos, and I've actually contemplated putting this up for a while. So, here it is: one of the ONLY fragments left of the thing once called Studio Little Rabbit Power & Light International. For those of you who don't know, Studio LRPLI was the predecessor to SOSI and HyperSong. It existed for eleven years before suddenly disappearing into a cloud of nothing (I'm not lying). I wasn't known as Stardust Flash back then; I was known as Little Rabbit. (If you look up Studio LRPLI on Google, I'm sure you'll find a few assorted things.) This video was made probably during the summer of 2003, with my old video maker. Yep. This video is FIVE YEARS OLD. It was made on a WINDOWS. Fooh, boy, this is old. I've had my first Mac for the past four years, if that gives you any idea. Anyway. Studio LRPLI had a TON of stories, and this video focuses on four of them. In order now: --Caliar Time Travelers. If I could sell an idea to a big animation company and somehow get the SOSI name on it, Caliar would be it. It's in basically this perfect package to go. Featured here are a lot of the animations I made in the 2002-2003 fiscal year for Caliar. This is long in the days before Photoshop, barely in the days of scanners...yes, those are CRAYONS you see, embarrassingly enough. --Feline Endeavors, the one with the pictures you probably can't see because of YouTube's quality, which was co-owned with my friend known as Little Kitten. After the LRPLI's demise, she continued creating stories and still goes by Little Kitten. She could take the FE rights and do something with it, and in fact, SOSI might be able to publish it and I might be able to help with some small-term things...but she would have to be in charge. After the flashing lights of doom (seriously, LR, what were you thinking?) we go to --Cerulea Voyagers. I was smart and outlined the pics in Sharpie, so you can see these ones! Just a few pictures and logos and such; I knew how to write in Japanese back then as well. Even back then, everything had a Japanese and an English logo. Cerulea Voyagers was actually one of the stories that got finished; after the LRPLI died, it was tossed out with about 97% of the other records. At least six years of work and stories and pictures and animations got thrown away in the trash. And I watched the trashman take it all away. It was a good day. I actually have it on film somewhere. --Crystal Celadon, the newest story as of when this video was made. The pictures are kind of fuzzy in this one, too, and it's the only one with humans, although some of them are aliens (and I obviously can't do aliens very well anymore). Back then, the story was just designed on its own; later on, it would join up with an entire arc in the Studio LRPLI plotline. The LRPLI logo you see in the video is one of the oldest: it was updated a few times and then finally went to Studio LRPLI, in Skia typing. You would recognize Skia as the typeset that is used in all HyperSong and SOSI logos today. When this video was made, even, it was not known as a studio -- it was simply the LRPLI. So, you're thinking, why would all this just disappear? Why would you throw it all away? That's not an easy question to answer. I worked on these things in the LRPLI for six years, some even more than that. Six years is a LONG TIME. That's longer than you go to high school for. HyperSong has only existed for almost three years now (three years in July). It's like there's a gap in my life...years of normal living, of starting to mix things and manipulate the environment around me to create new things, then a six year gap where the LRPLI used to be. And then SOSI and HyperSong and the manipulation I use to this day. I guess all I can say is...count yourselves lucky? I got the LRPLI taken away from me. It's both a sad and a happy thing all at the same time. I'm happy, because I'm in a better place, and I'm a much better person. But the LRPLI was my life, my 'magnum opus,' and I wanted to see it succeed. I never will. If people want to know more about this Studio LRPLI and why it was taken from me, let me know. Their Primarch is Sanguinius. They are particularly well known for their bloodthirsty nature in battle. They are also one of the most long-lived Chapters, and have a refined aesthetic sense History- The Blood Angels were created from the genetic material of their Primarch Sanguinius. As with all of the Primarchs, Sanguinius was genetically engineered to be a supreme super-soldier but was cast into the warp during his infancy along with his brothers, and found on the nuclear-blasted world of Baal Secundus. Sanguinius was affected by the warp, and when he was found by one of the few unmutated human tribes on Baal, he had a pair of angelic wings growing from his back. As he matured quickly, he was able to use his superhuman powers and abilities to unite the humans of Baal against the mutants and become their leader. When the Emperor found Baal in his search for the twenty Primarchs, Sanguinius immediately recognized him for who he was and bent down on his knee, pledging his service. In this, Sanguinius was one of the few Primarchs who did not challenge the Emperor upon their reunion. The Emperor then took Sanguinius and a number of his best warriors and placed him in command of the Blood Angels Space Marine Legion. During the Great Crusade, the Blood Angels became known as being excellent shock assault troops, and formed a rivalry with the similarly assault-oriented World Eaters Legion. Sanguinius was said to have had psychic powers, notably the gift of foresight. The Horus Heresy- During the Horus Heresy, the Blood Angels were one of the few Legions who fought alongside the Emperor during the Battle of Terra. When Horus lowered the shields of his battlebarge, and the Emperor teleported aboard the ship, Sanguinius was with him. The noble Primarch became separated from the Emperor, and came across Horus alone. The Warmaster tried to sway Sanguinius, to turn him to Chaos, but the Angel-winged warrior refused, and attacked Horus. The Daemonically strengthened Horus slew Sanguinius, as the Primarch knew he would. He had foreseen his death, and yet still engaged the Arch-Heretic, knowing he would die. This has endowed many of the Blood Angel's beliefs with a deeply mystical streak. Sanguinius' violent death left a strong psychic imprint on his Legion, since they partially share his DNA. However, this was a willing sacrifice that was made in order to buy the Emperor time and to give Him a weakness in Horus's armour, which was key in bringing about the traitor's defeat. After the Heresy, as with all other loyal Legions, the Blood Angels were forced to split into many smaller Chapters. Geneseed Black Rage All of the Chapters derived from the Blood Angels still suffer from the psychic imprint left by Sanguinius's death. This can cause them to go insane prior or during a battle, and they believe that they are Sanguinius himself during the Battle of Terra. The condition is irrecoverable (except for one case, where the victim was largely able to control it), and victims are locked away in the "Tower of the Lost" on the Blood Angels' homeworld until they finally die. This insanity is known as the Black Rage. Rather than face a slow, insane death, Blood Angels will form those who have newly succumbed to the Black Rage into a special unit known as the Death Company. They paint their armour black, daubed with red crosses, signifying the wounds of Sanguinius, and are usually led by the few Chapter officers, notably Chaplains, who are able to communicate orders to these lost warriors. They are then sent out to perform the most dangerous assaults, hoping for a quick and honourable death in combat.
