I think by now everyone knows the story of 13-year-old father Alfie Patten. Well 16-year-old Richard Goodsell and 14-year-old Tyler Barker are both contesting Alfies paternity claiming they are the father. When asked the 15-year-old mom Chantelle Steadman says that it can only be Alfie because she loves him and it could be nobody else. According to Alfie she has been his girlfriend for two years. To prove he is the father he has agreed to take a DNA test which until now had no idea what a DNA test was. (Less) Channel: youtube

Hey, do you guys think that miley dresses too old for her age? i do. i love her and all, but like is she forgeting that litttle girls (4,5, 6 yrs old) watch her and get an example for her? well, she's setting a bad example with those mini skirts, strapless shirts and stuff!!! Comment on your opinion about her, and if i think ur comment was discriptive, i'll add it to the description here. NO MEAN COMMENTS GETTIN MAD LIKE OH U HATE MILEY OR LIKE OH U SUK BCUZ I'LL DELETE IT AND BLOCK U FROM COMMENTING! THAT DOESN'T MEAN U CAN'T SAY IF U HATE MILEY OR NOT, BUT DON'T ABUSE IT.
***THESE ARE OPINIONS OF OTHER PPL***
•Mizpopo:
Wow.. I dress the same as her. I know lots of people who do. Look around. It doesn't mean everyone does, but miniskirts, tube tops, spaghetti straps, yea that's what people wear these days. Cleavage? There's always been cleavage throughout history. I'm not even joking.
Some things she wears aren't great for her age, but if you're talking about how she looks like a 20 year old.. It's her makeup. Makeup can do wonders, and professionals do it for her. Same with hair.
•mileyandJBluva:
In my opinion she's just growing up. When you grow up you tend to want to experiment with different styles and stuff. Most of the time the clothes she wears are appropriate..I just think that people aren't used to seeing a Disney person dress like that.
•Mamori101:
just because it's the trend nowadays you don't have to wear them just to be noticed or be part of the IN PEOPLE..as for me it's gross to see people wearing too much..they should just walk around naked..no offense. people should wear clothes according to their age. if a si year old will wear a mini skirt or even a tube..god..it is so wrong.
•Angelitamaliciosa:
she is 14 or 15 YEARS !!! she dont undersatng what to be in the spotlight means CUZ SOME 10 YEARS love her( dont know why) and look at her like a role MODEL!!! HELLO!! for me the point his not that she dresses to old for her age but that some littles girl WILL dress LIKE her and thats not fucking right tell me it's right to see!!!
•Xfrightenx:
my baby cousin isvlike 4 years old and she acts like her and miley is a bad examp for little girls cuz then the little girls wanna act like her and then be like oh im a whore!!! ahhahaha mom look im a whore like miley!!!! and yea my point exactly shes a bad example and im srry for the miley lovers but shes a relly bad exaple have a good day :]
•Love4musicgirll:
Its normal she dresses different than when she started in hannah montana cuz she was like 12 and know she's 15.And her makeup is too much but maybe its because she's not used to wearing it so she isnt really good applying it.
•Casy23:
I think sometimes overdoes it a little but i dont think that she's changed personality wise
sometimes i dress like that just to see what i'll look like and Miley's awesome!
•EndlessChatter:
ive been noticing it along time..miley over dresses herself shes at her teens she should look and dress younder no need for over doing herself..one time i saw her with red lip sticks sick.
•Opalibra:
I think that she shouldnt wear so much of the lowcut and short skirts i mean yah she may have the body for it but i think that she should wear at least an undershirt if shes gonna wear lowcut things. I'm a miley fan and I dont want her to become the new britt spears. I hope she can proceed w/ her life w/ out that type of crap britt went through. DONT RUIN UR LIFE MILEY PLZ!!!! Otherwise I think she is a decent person she is 15 she will make mistakes!!!!!!! WE ALL DO!!! NO ONE IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!! (Less) Channel: youtube

Like Brother Danny, Tim Carter (More) The Carter Brothers (Danny Reid Carter and Tim Carter) perform "Shelby Street". They're joined by Ross Sermons on bass and Dan Sherrill on the drums.
Like Brother Danny, Tim Carter was influenced very early on by the strains of the Appalachian folk and bluegrass music that surrounded them in North Carolina. In his early teens Tim became obsessed with the banjo and spent many hours everyday learning the different styles of the great N.C. players. Earl Scruggs and Don Reno were especially influential in Tim's development as a banjo player. Tim played in various bluegrass-folk bands while in college in Boone, N.C. After college he and Brother Danny teamed up to pursue their musical journey together as an acoustic duo. They began playing the ski resorts and various venues in the mountains of N.C. Soon the urge to experiment and create led them towards a more folk/rock/bluegrass direction by adding drums and bass to their ever developing sound. About this time Tim began learning and playing the mandolin and harmonica. The electric/acoustic, folk/rock/bluegrass/blues sound of the Brothers was born!
Now residing in Nashville Tim, between Carter Brothers tours, is pursuing his Grammy Award winning skills as a producer/engineer. He designed and built the Brothers 'TreeHouse' recording studio on the property of their home in the hills of Tennessee. Tim is also a fine writer of instrumental music. "Tim is always experimenting with sounds and rhythms, never ceases to amaze me and is a constant source of inspiration" says Brother Dan. He also has an artists agreement with DreamWorks Nashville.
Tim plays
Nechville acoustic/electric banjos, Collings acoustic/electric guitar, and Lawrence Smart acoustic/electric mandolins. Onstage amplification is usually Fender amps and direct to the mixing console.
Danny Carter: Vocals, Guitars
As a youngster Danny was influenced musically in many different directions. From the big band sounds and poetry that he heard on his fathers daily radio shows to the intricate chord patterns and unusual harmonies of the Beatles. Always fascinated by rhythms, he began drum lessons at the age of 10 until he was 15 years old. About that time he switched full time to playing guitar. Danny was totally blown away the first time that he heard the heavy celtic-folk-rock-blues stylings of Led Zeppelins Jimmy Page, which still influences him to this day. Eric Claptons smooth confident playing and sweet growling vocals were also influential in his early development as a guitarist-vocalist. Of course growing up in the hills of North Carolina Danny was always exposed to the Appalachian strains of bluegrass music that has always been so prominent there. Later on he would come to appreciate and teach himself the fiery acoustic guitar playing of Doc Watson, Clarence White, Elizabeth Cotton and many others that came out of the hills of Appalachia. "You know, after awhile I began to discover that all this music that I loved so much was basically the blues textured in different formats...I think Bill Monroe was one of the best blues writers of all time". Danny played in various blues-rock bands in the South before finally teaming up with Tim in the early 80's It was clearly evident that Dannys hard driving blues~rock stylings coupled with Tims acoustic-folk~bluegrass style, that this was not going to be just another bluegrass band from North Carolina....!
As a writer Danny composes in the style of a storyteller. "Its mostly fiction stuff with undertones into my personal life" says Dan. "I like to keep the lyrics a bit edgy and thought provoking while using interesting chord patterns". Danny has maintained an artists publishing agreement with DreamWorks Nashville for over 10 years. About all this he says "I feel so blessed to spend my life writing and performing along with Tim. I have the utmost respect and love for him...as a musician and a friend". "I look forward to what we will do together in the future"....
For recording and performing Danny plays a vintage 1967 Rickenbacker 360-12 string, Standard and Custom Fender Strats and a Gibson Les Paul Jr '54 re-issue for electrics along with various Martin and Collings acoustics. For the electrics he uses Marshall, Fender and Roland amplification. For the acoustics he goes from a Fishman Platinum EQ/DI directly to the main console.
He incorporates a custom built effects pedalboard loaded with a Boss TU-2 tuner, CH-1 Super Chorus, DD-3 Digital Delay, Keeley Compressor, MXR Micro Amp and a Boss AB-2 box to quick~switch between the electrics and acoustics. He also uses an Xotic AC Booster pedal along with a channel-switching footbox to the amps for tube overdrive/distortion on the electrics. (Less) Channel: youtube

They all talked about the awesome shows he used to put on in Sacramento, how he used to hang out with the kids, set up gigs for seminal punk bands like 7Seconds, and bring Southern California bands like Agent Orange and the Descendents to the stage for Sacramento teens back in "the day." I first ran into Chuck at Jack's Urban Eats in Midtown. I found out that although he no longer does show promotions, he's been doing some sick sidewalk chalk art and is now the frontman for a kick-ass punk-metal band, Mental Defective League (MDL). And he's still out there giving us kids the time of day.
How long have you been a part of the Sacramento scene?
I've been around for about 20 years. I started out by setting up punk shows at this place called the Beat. Not the CD shop, but this other little place that was a disco that got converted into a restaurant. It was on Florin Road.
Where did you start going to punk shows?
I went to [most] of my first punk shows at the Crest Theatre. I was still kind of a metalhead when I started going to punk shows. ... The first time I went to a punk show, I was supposed to go to a concert with Venom, Slayer and Exodus, but I ended up meeting the guys in Agent Orange. The night of the Venom show, I ended up helping Agent Orange out at the Scottish Rite Temple because they were playing the Elk Grove High School prom. They put me in a surgeon's smock and pasted Agent Orange stickers all over it. It was pretty rad.
What do you think about the following: "If we rock together, why can't we walk together?"
I think that it totally embodies the feeling of the Sacramento punk scene. This is one of the only places where you'll see metalheads, skinheads and people who like rap all chillin' together at a punk show, where the punk band will spend all night doing covers of Public Enemy songs. It's really cool how everything is integrated and people can get along.
You also do chalk art on the streets locally. How long have you been doing that?
I've been doing chalk art on the streets since I was 15 years old. I'm 36 now, going on 37. I've been chalkin' it up since before Chalk It Up was thought of. I've always appreciated people who like my art. It's totally awesome when some people are walking by, and they stop to check out and praise something I created. I love it when people dig my work.
What originally got you interested in chalk art?
I've always liked doing art. You know, doodling on pieces of napkins and such. I started to like working with chalk, though, because this whole city is my canvas, and it's free. ... There are a lot of cool things that are a part of it. I figure that if I'm already going to be out and about, I'll do something that I enjoy doing. I also see a lot of kids doing it, and I think that's really cool. It provides a positive medium for expression that makes the city more beautiful instead of destroying it. It's really simple. If you nurture kids with something, and they grab a hold of it, that's a skill that they'll enjoy using, and they'll do great things with that skill. It helps to empower young people.
Do you ever get kids coming up to you, asking you if they can do some chalk art with you?
Definitely. I'm always willing to help kids out and hook 'em up with some love if they want to start doing art with me. I'm more than willing to give pointers.
Where have you done chalk art?
I do chalk art all over the place. I did a piece out in front of the Rubicon building. I did one in front of Flat Spot that was featured on Deluxe Distribution's Web page. They're the people that make Anti-Hero, Spitfire, and Real skate stuff, so I was pretty stoked when someone showed me the caption under my picture saying, "Sacto knows who's who. This is Ground Chuck, and he does rad chalk art in front of local shops."
About your band MDL--how would you define your sound?
Our sound is basically punk/metal, but I have Tourette's, so it's got a little bit of rap in it, too. I've got a really vernacular sound, so it's a mix of rock and ABCs/123s and lolly-get-your-adverbs-here, with a twist of conjunction-junction-what's-your-function. You know what I mean? It's a really fun show to do, and I dig the vibes that I get from people at the show and all the kids that like our sound. (Less) Channel: youtube

I am highly displeased to inform the wanderers and lovers of pillings lake that it has been torn down recently due to some of clementon's town morons screwing with a few of the main support walls of the biggest building to make it easier to get away from cops (if they ever came...NOT!) Somehow lies leaked out that more and more teens were smoking weed back there, so the town obnoxiously began to put their foot in the door about this abandoned establishment. As of september 1st, it was declared as a severely unsafe structure, and was set for immediate demolition. So on the early morning sunrise on september 3rd, clementon-town-owned trucks began to abnoxiously tear down the establishment, disturbing the neighbors, and rumbling down their small streets in the process! For a week straight, from sunrise to sundown this went on. After clearing the entire Area, along with most of the woods, the town has no intent on fixing up anything they ruined! I myself and as far as i know, a few locals(as of now) would like to see the town put a new dam up in the place where the origional stood, and have the origional lake back, Not the swimming establishment, just the lake. For some of the nerby neighbors on niagra avenue along with other nearby houses would have it nice, with a beautiful lake touching up on the far tip of their back yard like many of them might remember from years ago....I myself would like to set up a petition for this movement, but i am only a 15 year old minor, and nobody will listen to a teen. So if you could just please pass this idea around to the residents of clementon, we could possibly have back the lake many of us remember. Just look at google earth, even THAT still calls it pillings lake!!! PILLINGS LAKE MAY YOU REST IN PEICES for now!! (Less) Channel: youtube

"I do not feel as happy doing what I am doing now. To put it more exaggeratedly, I think I might have lost myself, my sense of belonging, in the midst of working."
These words let slipped by BoA, who has been active as a front runner in the entertainment scene, were both shocking and surprising to the people around her. Debuting in 2001
when she was only merely 14 years old, she was still a young girl who held a childish and innocenet look to her. Yet in the years to come, she has successfully released hits like 'Listen to my heart', 'Valenti' and
her albums have all managed to break the million sales mark. She has been in the entertainment showbiz for 7 years, and is now 21 years of age. Now, what prompted BoA who has transformed from a young teenager to
a mature lady, to say those words?
"It was probably after the release of my compilation album (Best Of Soul), that I began to lose my aim in life. I guess in a way, it was having to work constantly with no breather in between
each moment, that made me feel that way. From time to time, I will think back and reflect, whether I am being too contented with what I have now. Honestly, I always wonder what will happen to me
if I were to give up singing one day, but because singing has been my life, the thought of it is enough to just jolt me back to my senses that I need to go on with singing. But I guess it is the fact that I hadn't have a
break for so long that it is making me burnt out."
As BoA told us these, she secretly threw a glance to her colleagues(manager etc) at the side and gave them a small but bitter smile. Indeed, throughout these 7 years, she has been
shuffling back and forth between Japan and Korea without rest in her schedules and has used up 4 passports in the midst of her travelling. Perhaps it's because she is so busy, that she cannot seem to find the
motivation to drive her anymore. However, BoA has not lost her dreams all these while. It's a dream made she was 15 years old --
That she wants go abroad to America to study 10 years later, when she is 25 years old.
"There's still 4 more years to when I am 25 years old. Maybe I will really go abroad to study then. I want to study English and also take up ballet,
these are what I feel are important and essential to me. Besides, I can still do recordings even when I am studying."
Being an avid and inquisitive learner, BoA has mentioned during her teens years, that she would want to study Economics.
"Ah yes. But come to think of it, I would have been able to put in more time and effort then to study as compared to now."
It's not too late for BoA to study now though.
BoA's ability to express her views and understanding in what she does can be seen in her upcoming single 'Lose Your Mind', which is to be released in December.
This is the first time she is collaborating with a rock band member, Doping Panda's Yukata Furukawa and the rock style coupled with BoA's amazing dancing skills just adds more passion to the song itself.
